Chapter 26 - CHAPTER 26 — Rejection From The Elite

During Dalmi meets Seoyul, Yinjun and Changyi tie Hanseo's hands on the Treadmill. Hanseo was surprised, why the two handsome young men he didn't recognize did this to him. Even though he didn't do anything wrong, including regarding the baseless accusations from Yinjun and Changyi, namely harassing Dalmi.

"What exactly do you two want?!" Hanseo looked at Yinjun and Changyi who were busy pacing in front of him.

Hearing that question, Yinjun and Changyi then directed their footsteps towards Hanseo. "Nothing!!" replied Changyi.

"Don't ask so many questions, Sir! Just stay here for a while!" Yinjun said firmly.

Hanseo cursed Yinjun and Changyi with his sharp eyes. "Hey! Don't waste your time playing games with me. I don't have much time to serve you guys!" Hanseo said with an annoyed expression. "Here also has a lot of CCTV cameras. You both know that, right?" Hanseo asked, while Yinjun and Changyi stared at him silently. "If the three of us check the footage from the CCTV cameras, then we will know who has harassed who? People will know who is wrong, because the footage will prove who is wrong between us!" Hanseo warned Yinjun and Changyi.

Yinjun and Changyi then looked left and right. They looked at every side and corner of the room with a feeling of worry. "This is bad!" thought Changyi. He then beckoned Yinjun through his eyes. "Sir, we both need to go to the toilet for a moment!" Changyi said.

"Sir, wait here a moment! We'll be right back!" Yinjun replied. He then sped up Treadmill first, before going to the toilet with Changyi.

Yinjun's prank of course made Hanseo angry. He couldn't stop shouting and cursing at Dalmi's two younger brothers when they went to the toilet. " Yaaiiisssshhhh!! What is this?! How impudent of you! Wait and see how I will repay you all!" Hanseo said very loudly. Yinjun and Changyi laughed loudly.

Meanwhile, at the swimming pool area, Seoyul ignores Dalmi's words. Instead he swam back and away from Dalmi who was at the edge of the swimming pool. "Although you are Zhuyang's younger sister, I don't know who you really are. I don't know you!" Seoyul said very clearly, before he returned to swimming. "Go! And don't ever come to see me again. I won't do anything for you. You'd better not get your hopes up on me!" Seoyul added again. After that, he went into the water and left Dalmi who was glued to the edge of the pool to swim alone.

Instead of making her give up, Seoyul's words actually made Dalmi even more excited to get Seoyul and his spinal cord. This can be seen when Dalmi chases Seoyul around the poolside carefully while constantly assuring Seoyul that Seoyul will know her well if they meet a few more times.

"Seoyul Oppa wait! Please listen to me just a moment!" Dalmi said in a loud voice. "I beg of you, we can both get to know each other well. That way, you can get to know me!" Dalmi said while circling the swimming pool until she and Seoyul met on the other side of the pool.

Seoyul started to get annoyed with Dalmi's attitude that bothered him at that time. Dalmi's presence only made Seoyul's mood worse. Because of that, Seoyul finally decided to get out of the swimming pool and then he wrapped a gray towel around his waist. After that, Seoyul walked towards the locker room. But Dalmi still following him from behind.

From behind, Dalmi stared at Seoyul's back in surprise because the man who was walking in front of her volunteered as a donor at Jinsang Hospital to help someone. So Dalmi thinks that Seoyul is a good man. What's more, when Dalmi and Seoyul met at the funeral home the other day, Seoyul seemed very worried about Dalmi.

Seoyul's worries didn't even apply, only when they met at the funeral home and Dalmi said that she was examined at the hospital and only underwent a bone marrow test. But Seoyul's worries were also increasingly felt by Dalmi when Dalmi said she had Leukemia. Strangely, now Seoyul even refuses to help Dalmi.

"Seoyul Oppa, didn't you register yourself as a donor to help others—"

Hearing Dalmi speak, Seoyul immediately turned his body so that he and Dalmi met each other's eyes. "I changed my mind!" interrupted Seoyul, even before Dalmi finished speaking.

"That is not true!" Dalmi hastily denied it. "Since the last time we met at the funeral home, I know you are a good person." Dalmi said seriously while looking Seoyul right in the eyes. "If you are worried about your health, you don't need to be afraid. Because I have asked the doctor who treated me. If you donate your spinal cord to me, it will not have a bad impact on you," Dalmi said in great detail.

Seoyul then massaged his temples briefly. "Not like that!" he replied. "You know, I'm a public figure and I have nothing to lose. I mean, helping you doesn't give me anything in return. And I would never sell anything to anyone without getting something in return. So, go away from me!" Seoyul shooed Dalmi again.

"Wait!" Dalmi reflexively grabbed Seoyul's wrist so that Seoyul was surprised. With disbelief, Seoyul looked at Dalmi's hand wrapped around his wrist.

"What do you want?!" asked Seoyul, then Dalmi released Seoyul's arm from his hands.

"I know I shouldn't bother you like this. I know I looked for you here without permission, and that's not true," Dalmi answered while twisting a small towel in her hand. But occasionally Dalmi dared to look into Seoyul's eyes. "A few days ago I never thought and I never knew if I would do something like this today. But I had no other choice. I really had no other way. The only thing I know for sure is that I want to continue alive. That's all." Dalmi said honestly.

For a moment, Seoyul was stunned by Dalmi's explanation. "But sorry, I really can't help you. So, please go away!" Seoyul's orders were very firm with his hands on his hips.

Seoyul's words made Dalmi angry. "Okay! If I'm going to die, then I want to die in a beautiful way," said Dalmi.

"Hey Miss!! Using your life to threaten a stranger, that's not right!" Seoyul replied.

Dalmi doesn't care about Seoyul's words. She just jumped into the swimming pool. But Seoyul remains unaffected by Dalmi's attitude. Instead, he folded his arms in front of his chest and watched Dalmi from the edge of the swimming pool.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Seoyul grinned at Dalmi. "Hey, it's useless for you to throw yourself into the swimming pool or even into the sea, I still won't donate my spinal cord to you! So, hurry up and get out of here!" Seoyul said again.

Until five seconds passed, Seoyul remained in his stance. He continued to smile while crossing his arms over his chest. "Keep pretending!" Seoyul said very curtly.

Unfortunately, Dalmi didn't give any response to Seoyul at that time. Not because Dalmi had no intention of replying to Seoyul, but because Dalmi had been floating motionless on the surface of the water because she was not good at swimming. Seeing this, Seoyul felt anxious. He then rushed to jump into the water to save Dalmi.

In the swimming pool, Seoyul is really worried about Dalmi. But then, instead, he found Dalmi's hand tightly gripping his arm. "Yaissshhh!!" Seoyul cursed harshly. He was very annoyed with Dalmi's childish behavior. "If you keep quiet like this, then don't blame me if I'm going to perform CPR on you!" Seoyul threatens Dalmi. But this threat was ignored by Dalmi.

Finally Seoyul pressed his lips to Dalmi's without hesitation. Strangely, Dalmi didn't protect her lips with her hand. This girl even welcomed Seoyul's lips on her lips. So Seoyul and Dalmi share a kiss for the first time. This kiss lasted for several seconds.

"Wow! You really are a great playwright! You can even write your story well. Oh no! Not only good at writing drama scripts, but apparently you are also good at acting pretending to drown to the point of near death!" Seoyul looked at Dalmi while grinning. After that, Seoyul pushed Dalmi roughly before he left Dalmi in the pool alone. Seoyul really doesn't care about Dalmi.

At exactly 10 in the evening, Seoyul sat in the living room with Hanseo — an assistant who almost never left Seoyul's side. Seoyul tells Hanseo about his new drama situation, that in the drama Seoyul will do extreme sports scenes. Meanwhile, Seoyul suffers from anxiety disorder. Therefore, Seoyul asked Hanseo to find the right way to overcome his anxiety disorder.

"There are so many elegant hobbies in this world. But why does the character in this story love extreme sports so much?!" asked Seoyul. "In fact, sometimes, just being silent can stress someone out. Then why does the character in this story want to do that?!" he said repeating his question again.

Hanseo giggled when he saw his boss riled up that night. "If you already know that the character in this story really likes extreme sports, then why do you still take this drama project?" Hanseo said.

Seoyul sighed. "At first I thought that humans have a desire to do something thrilling. Because of that the characters in this story like extreme sports. And I thought that by accepting this role, I would be able to overcome my anxiety disorder. But after I accepted it, I became even more anxious . Can I handle it or not," answered the actor.

"Sir, you don't need to worry like that," replied Hanseo, "I've thought of a way so you can do these extreme sports without feeling anxious when you shoot the drama later." Hanseo's words instantly made Seoyul scrunched up her face.

"How?" Seoyul asked quickly with curiosity already filling his heart.

Hanseo then moved his body closer to Seoyul. He then whispered something in Seoyul's ear which made Seoyul smile back. Don't know what Hanseo whispered to Seoyul. But Hanseo's whisper made Seoyul's face a little calmer than a few moments before.

After Seoyul agreed to Hanseo's idea of a way for Seoyul to do extreme sports while he was filming his new drama without worrying, Seoyul then walked to the kitchen, while Hanseo returned to his apartment.

When Seoyul walked into the kitchen, suddenly something strange happened there. Seoyul saw Dalmi in his kitchen, smiling at him.
