Mara opened her eyes and saw that she was sleeping in the arms of Author. Immidiately she stood up with embarrassment written in her actions and so did Author.
They both looked at each other and Author
realized that Mara's eyes were swollen from the crying the previous night.
While Mara noticed that Author's eyes were blood short showing that he did not sleep well.
They both smiled at each other with red faces before they headed down to check on the Duchess.
The doctor was cleaning up the wounds of the Duchess to apply fresh medicine before Author arrived with Mara.
" How is she doing doctor?" Asked Mara.
" She is stable for now but If you permit me can I tell you something?" Asked the doctor.
" Go ahead." Mara replied.
" After I inspected the wound this morning, I discovered that for some reason it is not healing as it is supposed to." said the doctor.
" So what do you mean?" Asked Author.
"When inspecting the wound I found traces of herbs that is only used in a spell associated with the magic wich had been banned long ago and that is Dark Magic." Replied the Doctor who continued explaining.
" And she can only be saved by someone who has the power of dark magic."
" What? you said it had been banned long ago then how can we find someone who practices dark magic?." Asked Mara who became frustrated.
" It was banned but there are people out there who practice it.
There is a witch who lives alone on the island of Dead Bones all alone.
I can give you a map and you can go there and seek her.
But you should know that she only shows herself to those she wishes to and she is very dangerous too.
you have just seven days to bring her here or we all might regret." said the doctor.
" I'll do it just give me the map." Replied Author.
" I'm coming with you" said Mara.
" No Mara please I wish to do this alone. Please you should remain back here and look after your mother.
Who will protect her if they ever attack again? Please I am here to serve you so let me do it and I promise that I will succeed." Said Author.
Mara couldn't believe how determined Author was to save her mum. She thanked the stars that Author was in their lives and she decided to let him go.
She ordered for a horse, money and food stuffs to be prepared for Author and she took Author to the Castle's Store and gave him a good sword.
" It was my father's. He said he won so many battles with it so keep it safe. I wish you good luck."
Author never wanted to waste anymore time so he took the map and hurriedly climbed on his horse and he started ridding at a great speed towards his destination.
While Author was riding, he became deep in thoughts.
'Just yesterday I entered through those gates after a long trip and today I am going out for another long trip.
But it is worth it tho.
What is life without the people you love?
It seems like bad luck follows me everywhere I go.
All my life, The people I love end up dying or getting hurt.
First, it was my real parents.
Secondly the king and Queen of OZZ and Now The Duchess.
Not forgetting sam.

Author kept encouraging him self as he increased his speed.
Author's POV.
I had been ridding nonstop, I think for about two hours now. I pity the poor horse.
According to the map I have two stops to Make before I get to the docks and board a boat.
First I will have to stop at a motel at a small town and it will be followed by stopping at a small village found in a very vast forest.
I hope they welcome me there. I have been looking for a way to get there quicker so as to stop just at one spot but if I do so, this horse might fall sick.

I had finally reached the motel and I went and tied my horse where I saw that other horses were tied.
I went in and I was greeted by warm air a sweet fragrance filled the air.
Boy was I starving.
I went to the reception and the receptionist was a beautiful woman around her thirties. she gave me a warm smile and asked how I needed her help?
I told her that I would need a room for the night and she told me all the requirements and I checked in.
I was let by another younger woman to my room wich was upstairs and the woman gave me a warm goodnight and left.
I had a warm bath and I immidiately fell asleep afterwards.
The next morning, I took my horse and continued my journey.
I was was gradually leaving civilization and I was heading into the forest.
Actually this time I knew I had to move faster than the speed of the previous day because the consequences could be that I would not reach the small village on time and end up sleeping in the forest.
As I got deeper into the forest, it grew darker and scarier but watching the Duchess die was more horrifying.
After a long and scary journey,
I had finally made it to the small village.
The people there welcomed me well suprisingly and I told them my mission and what I needed wich was a place to sleep.
A woman decided to take me in to sleep at her home wich I gladly accepted.
Her house was so old fashioned and they used fire fly lambs and Fire touches for lighting.
Her two kids were a boy and a girl around the age of nine and eleven. They were both lovely children but for her husband she said he was no more.
