Leander said nothing back and Viviana continued.
"I don't want anyone else to die in my place. I'll do whatever you ask of me. I'll do everything you want me to do. So, don't hurt those women who share my appearance. And when your grandfather asks for my life, do it. A bullet between my eyes or a quick slash across my throat…You'll know it better. Something quick, something sudden. Please…"
Viviana observed his reaction. His eyebrows and lips relaxed. His eyes looked dim, but he did not look angry. She was glad that he understood her. It won't be hard for him to kill her. He's used to killing and she will be safe in his hands rather than getting handed over to Peter or Evander.
Leander stared at her blankly. She said she was going to ask for her birthday wish. But she is asking him to kill her.
He didn't know how to react to that.
