"I thought she was mad at him," Leonardo whispered in his father's ear.
Vito smiled with a little disappointment. "I thought she would manage to hold on for at least a week…"
Leonardo pressed his lips and watched Viviana serving Leander his favorites. She cooked the entire feast in front of them. She had cooked his favorite and their father's favorite too, but her entire focus was on Leander.
It made him feel a certain type of way. His chest burned out of that odd feeling.
Leonardo wanted to complain but then, he knew his father would say that she was doing what she was supposed to do—she was taking care of her husband. Why should he bother?

Where is Leena? Why isn't she back yet? Didn't she say she wanted to sleep in early tonight?
He decided to call her and pulled out his phone.
"Leonardo!" Vito glared at him.
