"I don't know what you are talking about. My mother is dead," Viviana patted the imaginary dust in her clothes. "I won't waste my time with you."
Viviana turned to leave.
"You are going to pretend?" Tabitha scoffed. "He took my kidney and threw me at the side of a road while I was still bleeding from the incision. They didn't even sew me up properly! He wanted me dead!"
Viviana didn't mind her shout. She inferred it might have been Vito Vitale who did that. If her father got the kidney he needed, she was glad.
"You're not going to say that you're happy I got treated this way? I am the woman who didn't bother to kill her daughter and delegated it to a stupid maid! And you are the daughter I wanted dead. I considered you as trash; a burden; a hindrance to my peaceful life! You weren't even a boy! Useless. That's what you are, Minerva. Trash!"
