"Tabitha!"
Vito Vitale entered the room in a large gait. His sharp eyes were twinkling, and he had an impeccable charm as he walked in. Tabitha stood up out of reflex.
"…been a while," Vito said.
"It has been…" Tabitha chuckled awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck. She even snorted out of nowhere and got embarrassed.
Vito was smiling. But those dark eyes were not smiling. In fact, the slight curl at the corner of his lips revealed the disgust he was hiding.
"I found my daughter," he said.
"Hehe…" Tabitha chuckled awkwardly.
His men asked her about her daughters and he is talking about daughter. She was fearing that Vito figured out that she threw away the runt. But maybe he didn't? She was relieved.
