Leander watched her talking non-stop. She was whispering most of the time and he couldn't say what she was talking about.
But she was having fun. Her face was blooming. That was enough for him.
Steve knocked the door. Leander walked to the door and opened it.
"Evander went to meet Leonardo and he can't be contacted from last evening. Barnabas called," he said.
Leander nodded. It's not news to them. Leander had a feeling that today's date will be marked as Evander's date of death.
But hey, what else can he do? He tried to warn everyone in the family. And he was stopped from acting against the Vitale family. His hands are tied, right?
"Barnabas asked you to make a visit to Leonardo Vitale," Steve said. It was his duty to inform everything he was told.
"When and where has the consigliere arranged a meeting?" Leander asked fully well knowing that no meeting would have been arranged.
