She woke up with a gasp.
She's learned to control her nightmares to some extent. But this time, she could not breathe even after waking up. She was pressed against his chest and her back hurt by the force he was holding her.
His heartbeat had gone haywire. She could not look at his face, but she knew he is not fine.
"Kastello," she called for him.
As someone who went through therapies for nightmares, she knew that waking up is not the right option. But she was hurting and in the verge of collapsing without air. She needs him to let her go.
