Trickster was the main proponent of the experiment over the Hellhound knights. He was given direct control over their elite unit as overruled by the higher-ups.
Kayeios was the main project doll that he worked on. He imbued a soul to take over it using one of his puppeteering skills.
Not only does Trickster know what is happening in his body but they can also both relay messages to each other. This is due to the fact that Kayeios' soul underwent a pact with his master, Trickster.
