Seth, Uriel, and Rim then headed back to the Cleverian Village. While going back, Seth let Rim use a Serpentine-like form through Universal Mimicry to swim in the Slime River and ride the downflow current.
"Master Seth. Rim seems to be quite happy bathing in the slime river."
"He sure is. It's the blood and sweat of his comrades, kinda?"
Seth was still going on with his joke which is arguably factual in a sense as Uriel had confirmed that the Slime River is indeed a river that is imbued with the pure mana of slimes from the Slime Sanctuary that was uphill.
They took their time until eventually, they reached the outskirts of the Cleverian village as Rim reverted to his slime form and rode in Seth's pouch.
Seth and Uriel then walked back into the village only to be surprised by Valhadr who was drinking with the local villagers and some of the researchers.
Valhadr saw Seth and said, "Seth! Come here. See this?" He held his wine up to him.
