Meanwhile, Valhadr was still struggling to kill his friend and the whole party of the Defenders of the Swamp. With the Citadel of Ruins being formed right inside the Intangible world, he was more than capable of fighting them by a hundredfold. Yet as the mutated adventurers charged at him, he just swiftly dodged them instead of hitting them back.
As if deep down, he was trying to figure out how he would save them. Having dominion over death doesn't help for he wanted them to be alive.
On the sideline, Isaac was just sleeping knowing that Valhadr would really devote effort to save them first instead of killing them.
Valhadr actually got the resolve earlier to kill them but the moment he opened the Citadel of Ruins, he knew that he really didn't want this outcome.
