After I recovered from the slap I finally ask the woman a question I should have asked when I first met her, "what is your name?"
"Lanoria Barnette, did I forget to tell you when you first asked."
"Oh, I did ask didn't I?"
"Will you two shut up? it's bad enough that I have to deal with smell you hellish flagellants, but you're voices add new meaning to the word suffering," the head in the fart sack complained.
"Lanoria did you hear something?"
"No, it must have been the wind," Lanoria replies, as light comes into view I proceed to run toward it.
Now standing at the mouth of the subterranean complex, I see the outside world for the first time.
We stood at the top of a large hill covered in a sea glistening green grass, to our right I could see a large city surrounded by towering walls, and to our left there was the coastline in the distance.
"You see that city off in the distance? It's the capital city of the Elackryo kingdom, We should avoid it all costs," Lanoria remarks.
"Yes I see it but why should we avoid it? Do you think I am so weak that I would be killed by a pitiful human?" I retort.
"not that you would be killed, but it's full of insane cultists."
"Really, that might actually be a positive thing for us."
"How so?"
"A secret that has to do with my goals," I answer, thinking about how it would be a great place to build an army, of cultists.
We made our way to the gate of the walled capital city of Elackryo
