Ella sat still staring and beaming at her husband, who had succeeded in leaving her speechless with all his sweet gestures. He was meticulous and intentional in everything he did, making sure there was always a smile on her face.
She couldn't help herself from comparing Leon's current gentlemanly behavior to his previous demanding and sometimes proud nature.
Unlike before, he wasn't quick to get angry at any of her comments whether playful or nasty. He was more tolerant, caring, and understanding.
"How come you waited to do something wrong before you thought it wise to be more responsible." Ella teased Leon as they ate dinner.
Leon chuckled but didn't display any signs of displeasure.
"Well, it takes a proud man to fall in other to discover his mistakes and make amends. Also, it takes an angel to change the destiny of a falling star."
Leon slowly reached out for Ella's hand that was lying on the table and started stroking it gently.
