When they left Crystal Crush planet, Sapphire knew there'll be scouts searching for them. So they went under a tunnel to avoid the hexbots and to get to the Secret Planet.
"Thanks for helping us, it's really nice of you" Terra thanked her "You're not that bad as your brother said you were."
"Earth person, the truth is you're helping me" Sapphire confessed.
Red would've join in the chit chat, but it seems like his having a sugar rush from eating all those Sugar Crystals. So he just went ahead of them to wear it off.
Terra and Sapphire continued chatting.
"Um excuse me, Sapphire you said I'm helping you?" Terra asked.
"I've been trying to get pass that Volcano Wall for years" Sapphire explained "I just wanna bounce out of here, get of the universe and live on the White."
"You don't like the universe?"
"Let's just say I don't fit in, and the White is supposed to be amazing, there's so much to do and you can be and do whatever you want without hurting anyone" Sapphire explained while opening the exit of the tunnel "You're free, come on."
They slide themselves down to get to the Secret Planet. And it seems Red's sugar level is dropping down, he felt dizzy. When they reached the Secret Planet Terra started to wonder. "Come to think of it, if this planet is so secret and hidden in your galaxy, then how come you guys know it?" she asked.
Sapphire was secretly nervous to answer her question she had to abandon it. "Err, you know, uh your taking up too much of my brain space, so let's keep the chit chat to a minimum" she said.
Terra just shrugged her shoulders and went with it. This time Red was listening to their conversation. He knew what Sapphire was worried about.
"Terra, let's just say that Sapphire's hoping her old friend doesn't show up" said Red filling her question. He didn't told much, he knew Sapphire was nervous to talk about her old friend.
"Who?" Terra asked.
"Come on, let's go!" said Sapphire harshly.
"They were on a peek of a mountain. Terra saw the view of the Secret Planet. The view was amazing, the Secret Planet turned out to be more of a jungle planet, field with fascinating alien animals and beautiful different plants.
"Wow, this place is amazing, anyone can get lost there" said Terra, staring at the view. She thought the jungle looked similar to Earth's jungle.
"Yeah, yeah the view is great now let's go" said Sapphire. She sounded like she was in a hurry.
They climbed down the mountains. It was simple for Sapphire because she was athletic, Terra and Red not so much, they climbed down carefully. Terra could've tried to use her power but she was afraid she might make an avalanche. When they've reached the bottom they walked through a clear path into the jungle. Luckily there was no dangerous animal to attack them, it was quiet. Maybe too quiet. Sapphire was alert, she knew when someplace is quiet it can't be good. Suddenly something moved in the bushes. Terra and Red were startled, they thought it could be a wild savage animal. But Sapphire wasn't, she was brave enough to approach the bush that moved. When she got closer to see, something or someone jumped up into the trees and vanished. They looked up to see, and it was quiet again. Sapphire, Red and Terra stuck their backs together and prepared for that mysterious creature.
"What was that?" asked Terra.
"I'm not sure?" answered Sapphire, with sharp eyes "But we better be ready it could be anything."
Red was worried, he wasn't much of a fighter, he was more of a builder. He wished he had brought a weapon, instead he cling his hands into a fist and raised it waiting for the beast. Terra and Sapphire did the same. Then the mysterious creature shot darts at them using a blow gun, hiding in one of the trees. Those darts won't paralyze them it'll turn them into stone. In an imprisoning way.
"Take cover!" shouted Sapphire.
They tried to dodge the darts. Red wasn't very skilled for that, he just tried to shield himself behind a rock. Terra tried her best to dodge the darts. Sapphire dodged them pretty good, she dodged the darts with her old moves. Red and Terra were so impressed that it distracted them from concentrating to avoid the darts. Terra and Red got hit, and they were turned to stone.
"Oh no!" cried Sapphire, that it distracted her concentration too. Now she was hit and turned to stone.
The mysterious creature took the statues into its layer. When it brought them there it released one of them to ask questions. It first released Terra, because she's new to it and she's not from anywhere in the Hidden Galaxy. The mysterious creature took a tiny hammer and it gently tapped on Terra's stoned head, and she was breaking free. When Terra was released she fell on her knees, and she felt dizzy. When she raised her head the mysterious creature spoke from the shadows.
"Who are you?" it said.
"Who are you?" Terra repeated its question.
The mysterious creature will have to start first. It can see Terra was more confused than it. It stepped out of the shadows and came into the light so Terra could see. Terra saw the mysterious creature is no creature at all. It was a she, and she was like Red and Sapphire except her color was orange.
Her skin color was Orange (web color), a short Orange (pantone) hair, and her eye color was dark orange. She wore a safety orange short sleeve shirt, aerospace short pants, and orange (Crayola) shoes.
Terra saw the orange alien's necklace. It looked like Red and Sapphires, except the color is orange. So she must be a Galactanian too.
"I am Zircon" introduced the orange Galactanian "and what are you doing trespassing in my home planet."
"I'm Terra" she introduced herself with a panic "and we're sorry, we don't want any trouble, we're just taking a shortcut."
Zircon looked at Terra suspiciously. "You're not from this galaxy. Are you?" she asked.
"No" answered Terra.
Zircon can tell that Terra's not from the Hidden Galaxy, because her skin color looks unusual. Zircon started to ask her a few questions.
"What planet are you from?"
"Planet Earth"
"What are you?"
"Human"
"What special powers do you have?"
"Err, a rock power, but I don't know how to control it, I seem to have forgotten"
"And where are you going?"
"To the White"
"The White, let me guess, she's taking you there?"
"Yes"
Zircon released Sapphire and Red from their statue prison so they can explain to her about this. Sapphire and Red fell on their knees like Terra did. They saw their old friend Zircon. Terra looked at them, and it looked like they knew each other. Red was so glad to see his orange friend. Zircon was also glad to see her red friend. But Sapphire wasn't glad to see her. Including Zircon, she wasn't happy to see her former blue friend, she just glared at her. "Well look who came walking back!" she said with her arms crossed.
"Hey, I didn't come to drop in, we just need to take your short cut!" explained Sapphire, while standing up.
"What a surprise, it's not every day you see Sapphire being helpful" said Zircon.
"Well for your information this earth person lost her memories and we're going to the White to rememoryd her" Sapphire explained aggressively.
"Really" started Zircon. She knew she needed Terra for something. Terra didn't say anything, she just stood there listening, not knowing what they were talking about. Red knew what was going to happen next, so he quickly stepped in their conversation.
"Ladies, ladies let's not start" he said, while pushing them apart.
Zircon calmed herself and looked at Red. "Red I'm really happy to see you again, it's been a while, and I see you're still trying to help your sister. You're a good brother, but you know your sister can be anxious" she said "She'll never learn."
"Hey! Don't worry, you won't see me ever, once I'm out of the universe!" Sapphire shouted. She started to boil.
"And does this earth person know you're only doing it for yourself?!" Zircon shouted back. And now they argued.
"Well at least we're even on what we want. What about you? I haven't seen you stepped outside of the jungle!"
"That's because I'm busy too!"
"With what?!"
"STOP!" Terra yelled. "Look I don't know what your problem is but I need her to take me to the White so I can get my memories back, so I can remember who I was" she said "What about you? Do you remember how you started arguing?"
There was a long silent pause. Red was the first to speak. "How about you Zircon?" he asked calmly "Don't you need anything from the White? Like fitting in our planet, Galactica."
It's true. Zircon did want to fit in Galactica, sometimes she felt like an outcast. She was never from Galactica, she grew up in the jungle planet her whole life, and she was raised by animals.
"What?!" Sapphire and Zircon were shocked, they're not sure if they can handle the trip together
"What we could use all the help we can get" said Red.
"He's got a point Sapphire" said Terra.
Zircon thought for a second, she did always want to fit in Galactica without anybody mocking her, so she agreed. Sapphire couldn't believe it, but she knew they could use more help. After all the hexbots are dangerous and they could be everywhere by now. So she agreed too, but not in a good way.
"I'll come, only on the condition that Sapphire will not speak to me on the trip, and I won't help her only if seriously needed" Zircon proclaimed."
"Fine by me" agreed Sapphire. She always was independent.
Red had a feeling this was going to be a long journey. Together they continued their journey. Terra found out that Zircon must be Sapphire's former best friend. She did promise Red she would help, she just needs to know what is their friendship problem. She walked towards both of them. "Hey guys, I'm just curious, what is it your arguing about?" she asked one of them "Maybe I can help?"
But they refused to explain, they just ignored each other and kept on walking silently. Red who was way behind them, told Terra about their feud. But first he told her Zircon's beginning about how she ended up living in the jungle and not on their world.
A very long time ago when she was an infant, her parents were under attacked by Hex's hexbots after a visit from another planet. They were ambushed and they only had one option to save their baby. The mommy took out an escape pod for babies, just in case if they're in trouble, and putted her in there to send her back to Galactica. After the pod flew away with the baby the parents knew they can't let Hex have their colors and get away, so they had to make a sacrifice. They jumped in the Black Hole to never be seen again. The escape pod safely flew through the Hidden Galaxy until something went wrong with the circuit core. So instead of taking her safely to Galactica it crash landed in a deserted planet, the Secret Planet. Thankfully the escape pod was strong enough to shield the baby, and she was unharmed. Then the orange infant was found by alien animals, and the creatures took her in and raised her as their own. They gazed upon her eyes and her warm orange skin, she was full of energy. A creature with ten eyes looked at the orange zircon gemstones in its cave, they were so shiny and beautiful, and that's where it hit its head. It told the other animals about its gemstones, and they had decided to name her Zircon. They fed her colorful fruits and vegetables, and never gave her meat. Some taught her to be a vegetarian. They comfort her with the softest leaves and sang her lullabies. They groomed her with the cleanest water and wiped her with fresh leaves. And they watched her grow, all the animals in the planet were there at her birthday, they gave her gifts and made her the most delicious, colorful birthday fruit cake. Oh how they loved her.
Soon Zircon began to grow her own powers, she can shapeshift into any alien animal in the universe. Years past and Zircon grew into a Galactanian, but she never left her planet. Then the animals began to worry because soon Zircon had to be with her own kind, so they helped her prepare. They thought her everything they knew, about the Hidden Galaxy and about the planet Galactica, where they are other people like her. Zircon studied hard, she improved herself, she learned these things well, and finally the time has come for her to leave her world. A cute short flying creature guided her to Galactica, and introduced her to the king and queen, and the princess (who was still with her parents before she disappeared.) They gave her a Galactanian necklace that matches her color. Zircon wondered the Crystal City, she saw people that are like her except with different skin colors. People started to stare at her, they heard about the orange girl who grew up in a secret jungle, and they felt because she was raised without parents, but they just stayed out of it and minded their own business. Zircon didn't felt like she fit in, she missed her animal friends. A few years after a bad thing happened in the galaxy she met Sapphire and they became best friends, but overtime something happened. They had to make a choice on something they always wanted.
Sapphire wants to go to the White, so she can run away from her mistakes, so she can be and do whatever she wants.
Zircon wants to fit in Galactica, she wanted Sapphire to face her mistakes and tell the king and queen the truth. But she refused.
That's when the feud started, they were arguing a lot about what they want. After that they gave up on trying to persuade each other, and decided to go their separate ways for all eternity. And I've been trying to get them back together ever since because they're the only ones who know each other more than anyone.
"That was the most moving story I have ever heard" said Terra, she almost felt like crying. "Though one more question" she asked "Who is this Hex guy?"
"Hex is the evil black serpent" Red explained "He is heled captive in the Hidden Galaxy for eons, he sends these Hex bots to capture a Galactanian and sucks the color out of it. If he gets his black magic on a Galactanian's color, he'll use it to escape the Hidden Galaxy and spread darkness in the entire universe including Earth."
"No way will he get out of the Hidden Galaxy" Terra said sounding confident "So that's why the Hidden Galaxy's hidden?"
"That's right"
"Hey, what's Sapphire's story"
"Sorry Terra but my sister's story must be kept hidden from everyone" said Red "At least for a while."
Only Red and Zircon knew Sapphire's shocking secret, and they promised her they won't tell, until she was ready. But it seems like she'll never be ready.
