Chapter 516 - Chapter 116

Title: End 10

"Your move." Yusano said with her sword pointing at Tenkuji who smiled wryly and raised his hands in surrender.

"Forgive my comrade, but as I said earlier, we didn't come to fight." Tl

"Tell that to the popsicle." Yusano snorted and lowered her sword as she didn't feel any animosity or intent to fight from the other black-skinned guy.

"And as I said earlier, I only came to make sure he didn't blow this out of proportion." Tenkuji said with a sigh. "We're actually reinforcement Reanimated by the fellow called Orochimaru. You must know of him, right?"

The Allied Jounins and Chunins all frowned at the mention of the name which Tenkuji obviously noticed and added. "He was with two Uchiha and a few others."

"Two Uchihas?" Kakashi and Yusano asked at almost the same time.

"Hmm, Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha."

"That makes things even worse. Those three are rogue ninjas." Yusano said but sighed as her sword melted away.

"What?! Those three? Are you sure? From their Chakra, I actually doubt that." Tenkuji exclaimed in shock.

"They have their reasons." Yusano said and looked at Kakashi. "He's a friend."

"You sure? Sasuke and Itachi aside, Orochimaru-"

"C'mon babe, what are the odds that Orochimaru thought this up by himself? And from the looks of things, they're not the only ones Reanimated." Yusano said while rolling her eyes at Kakashi.

"That's true. The First Kages were Reanimated. Your second, third and fourth Hokages too." Tenkuji said with a smile.

"What?" Murmurs began to rise amongst the crowd hearing this, especially from the Konoha nin who felt that they would be saved from this war.

"Then-" Gai was about to say something when the heat around them suddenly rose again much to their shock.

Gai and Kakashi immediately stood in front of the group, Yusano included, as they prepared to face Akarui who didn't seem to like his current sealed status.

"Kukuhahahahahaha! Good. Good. Impressive Jutsu little girl. I really would've died if I was alive." An uproarious laughter burst out from the giant icicle as it melted swiftly with mists rising around it

"That's enough Akarui. We've wasted enough time here due to your folly." Tenkuji berated but Akarui didn't even bat an eye to the man and walked towards the group.

"You!" He pointed to Yusano with his one hand as he held the Axe over his shoulder with the other hand.

"Back for round two?" Yusano asked back with a fierce look as she flared her chakra.

"Hahaha, I'm not a sore loser little girl. I could confidently receive that move of yours because of my immortal status, if I was truly alive, that Jutsu would've killed me." Akarui said before he let out a satisfied sigh. "Plus, I can tell you're already exhausted, so stop with the false bravado."

"..." Yusano kept silent as her eyes remained fixed on him. Her expression unchanged and her thoughts unreadable.

"Fortunately, she's not the only one we've got." Kakashi said in reply to the man's words.

"True. I have no doubt that should I fight you, I would have to use a lot of brain cells. The look in your eyes reminds me of that coward over there." Akarui flicked his head towards Tenkuji and then looked at Gai. "And you...you look like you'd give me a good fight in pure Taijutsu, similar to Anel-sama. Not to mention the others..." He said and swept his eyes through the crowd.

"Then what do you want? We've got serious matters to attend to." Kakashi said.

"Of course. The war, but before that. You!" He pointed at Yusano once more.

"What!?" Yusano replied in kind, not sounding a little bit softer with her Voice.

"I like you. After this war, we'll have a free for all battle. Me you, Anel-sama and that coward over there." Akarui grinned as he said this. In his mind, he had just made a wonderful suggestion and Anel would surely be pleased to know he'd be able to fight someone strong.

"Huh?"

"Hmm? Didn't you get me? I said we'll-"

"No. I got you, but who told you that you'll still be in this World after this war? Or how sure are you that you'll remain after the war? Or even survive the war?" Yusano queried.

"Heh. You look down on the spirit of our Cloud nin. We don't stop fighting until all our enemies are defeated. Tenkuji! Tell them."

"I would very much like to exclude myself from this narrative." Tenkuji raised his hand and said,

"Tch. Coward. You're lucky you're strong." Akarui said and turned to Yusano to continue their discussion, but before he could start, massive chakra signatures began making their way towards them.

Those who were sensors were the first to notice this, depending on their sensory levels, and neither Tenkuji nor Akarui were low on that. In fact, theirs could actually rival that of Yusano who already felt it and tensed up.

She quickly put her hand into her pouch and pulled out a bottle. In a swift movement, she popped several pills and threw them into her mouth.

"Hey, that's dangerous." Kakashi, who noticed this, said in reminder.

"Don't worry about me. Don't just die out there." Saying that, she threw him a bottle before nodding at Gai and left to prepare to face the incoming foes.

And not too far from them, Matatabi, the two tailed beast, Isobu, the three tailed beast, Son Goku, the Four Tailed beast, Kokūo, the Five tailed beast and Saiken, the Sixth Tailed Beast ran towards the group with wild abandon.

"Something's wrong." Yusano said with a frown as she saw the thousand year old beasts charging in carelessly. A look with her Rikugan told her the reason but before she could alert the group, Akarui and Tenkuji had already jumped into battle, and with them were the other Shinobis.

"Fucking idiots! The lot of them." Yusano cursed and turned to see some Shinobis still standing in wait. In terms of hierarchy, Kakashi was the leader, but Kakashi listened to Yusano, so in a way, Yusano was their leader.

"What's wrong?"

"They're being controlled." Yusano said.

"The Sharingan... Obito." Kakashi said through gritted teeth.

"Hmm, but this is much more than the Sharingan. I can't even get a read on it...and from their eye pattern, it should suffice to say that it's the Rinnegan." Yusano frowned upon saying that.

"So? We're fighting mad beasts here?" One Jounin asked hoping it was not the case, but unfortunately, Yusano nodded and added.

"Wild beasts fighting on instinct... Instincts probably honed over their long lives." Yusano said.

"Damnit. A controlled Kyuubi was already damaging to Konoha and that was a Sharingan...this?"

"Don't look so glum, guys. It was damaging because the village wasn't prepared." Kakashi said. "Lord Fourth alone was enough to stop and seal it away, and that was with being caught off guard. And not to discredit my Sensei, we have people stronger than him here. We've got this."

Kakashi's words seemed to have calmed the near panicking Shinobis out by a lot. Afterall, in truth, people far stronger than the Fourth Hokage were here. Kakashi didn't really say it, but he believed himself to also be at the level of his teacher.

Shun always told him - What kind of disappointment would you turn out to be if Minato-nii came back and saw you still haven't surpassed his 24 year old self despite being 31? -

And yes...he truly has surpassed his teacher. He could only hope he could survive long enough to meet him one more time.

Unknown to the Young Hatake...His teacher had actually had a power up despite his death status.

...

"Your sister...I must say, she's unique." Izanami said after a short pause. She had just realized what this meant. Shun was her father, a fragment, but still... wouldn't his sister be her aunt?

For God's sake, she was over 800 years old! And knowing Shun, he'd probably make them call her aunt!

SNEEZE!

"Hmm. Somebody must be talking about me somewhere...hope they're not missing me too much out there." Shun said as he rubbed his nose before smiling proudly at Izanami. "Do you think someone who came out from the same womb as yours truly would be mediocre?"

"Somehow, I feel offended." Izanagi said with a thoughtful look.

"Why is that? You both came out of the same womb...Yet here you are." Shun said to him as he glanced at Izanami too.

"Ah-ha! No wonder I thought it was offensive." Izanagi snapped his finger and pointed at Shun.

"What?" Shun asked innocently.

"Stop looking down on us, Pops. We're strong. Crazy strong." Izanagi said and Izanami nodded. "Tell him, little brother."

"That's big brother to you." Izanagi snapped at his sister only for her to roll her eyes at him.

"At your age you're still so hung up on this...how immature." She said with a tone of disdain.

"You-!" Izanagi pointed at Izanami as veins popped out of his head. If not for the hand that was placed on his shoulder, he would've probably coughed out blood.

'Tch.' Shun clicked his tongue internally seeing Mei spoil his entertainment but didn't bother with them as they continued bickering. His attention was fully on the screen as he watched the war proceed.

Team Seven were finally back together and were making an impact on the battlefield. My team of Karin, Sai and...was that Shizuka? Damn. Well they were making an impact too.

'To think she came to fight in this war. Tsume and Izanami must have sent her with those two.' Shun thought as his eye caught Tsunade and Orochimaru having a get together. 'That reminds me. It's time for their big surprise.' Shun thought and snapped his finger and Jiraiya, who had been pervertedly reading through Shun's stash of Ero-manga was immediately teleported right to their middle.

The two jumped in shock seeing Jiraiya. Initially they thought he was a Reanimation, but Jiraiya's perverted laugh made them know it was actually him.

Tsunade was the first to break down in tears and rush to hug him, much to Jiraiya's annoyance. It was only as he felt the supple lumps of meat on his head did his annoyance disappear.

"Oppai! To think that what Shun said was true. If you imagine it hard enough, anything can be made reality." Jiraiya said proudly to himself as he made to touch the bread with his one good hand.

Unfortunately for him, Tsunade seemed to have an observation Haki when it came to that as an earth shattering punch was delivered to his face, waking him up and dragging him back to reality.

Looking into the night sky of the battlefield from the crater he had formed, Jiraiya smiled sadly before chuckling. "Seems even my imagination packs a punch."

"What are you muttering about down there, you idiot!?" Tsunade's voice broke him out of his reverie.

"Hah. Even Tsunade's voice managed to make it in here, huh?" He said and slowly stood up

"For the first time in...well forever, it's actually good to see you." Orochimaru's voice sounded next, causing Jiraiya to freeze.

"Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. How is this possible? Orochimaru is in my head? Damnit! C'mon! Wake up goddammit! Wake up! I can't have this. This isn't the promised Reality of my Dreams!" Jiraiya was practically in tears by the time another voice sounded.

"If it isn't the little pervert... Jiraiya was it? To think you're actually still alive. I for sure thought you'd be the first one to die."

"This voice." Jiraiya paused and said seriously before jumping out of the crater. Looking around, he saw Tsunade, Orochimaru, the other Kages and finally Mikoto.

"Mikoto-ba-chan...as expected. I'm actually dead. That Shun and his mischievousness." Jiraiya clicked his tongue. "But to think you both actually followed me this soon. You all too."

Jiraiya had a look of reminiscence. "I guess the old era has finally passed on. I wonder how the kids are....Sigh. Come guys. I'll show you somewhere interesting. It's where some Godlike person who has the face of that little Shun has had me locked up for a while now."

Saying that, Jiraiya turned and began walking. His thoughts were. 'I bet I looked cool right there.'

"I bet he thinks he looks cool after doing that." Tsunade said out loud causing Jiraiya to stiffen.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of this. He looks like he's been questioning reality a little bit." Mikoto said as her domain spread and enveloped Jiraiya.

"He'll be alright...right?" Tsunade asked.

"I doubt anything is wrong with him. He'd probably died and was brought back by Shun..." Orochimaru took a momentary pause to let his words sink in. "...and after that, Shun had probably left him locked up somewhere for so long..."

"If your conjunction is true, then he's actually strong." Mikoto said with a small nod.

"Hmm?"

"To have been brought up from the dead...is no small feat. Especially after his soul force has disappeared. Remember what the toads said?" Tsunade asked but got a confused stare from the group.

"They said his name vanished. Which means he really died." Tsunade answered herself and sighed. "In my studies, that level of death and resurrection can be harmful... extremely harmful to the psyche."

"Hm. That's true. I also explored that in my time. Soul force is one of the many things I could never completely comprehend, but one thing I know was...once damaged, repair is almost impossible." Mikoto added.

Meanwhile, Orochimaru was currently wishing he would turn invisible. The reason being-.

"That reminds me. Doesn't this delve into your Realm of expertise?"

'There it is!' Orochimaru exclaimed internally in both annoyance and excitement. Annoyance because he'd have to actually explain his research considering the situation and excitement because he'd finally get to explain his research to people who wouldn't disparage him or look at him in contempt.

"Kukukuku. Of course it is, but even I, am still at the threshold." Orochimaru began and Shun immediately tuned him and turned to another screen.

The group of Kage level individuals as well as a few Jounins and Cannon fodders were battling it out against the five tail beasts...and were losing.

They were actually losing. From Shun's perspective, it seemed like the Shinobis were not even trying, while from another perspective, the Tail Beasts, despite their coerced mental state, were very much battle aware and were actually putting said battle awareness into good use.

"Not bad, those guys finally look like century old beings." Izanami said.

"You don't say, whenever we fight, be it in this form or in their Human form, I always win. It's appalling to actually relate myself to them sometimes." Izanagi added.

"Other than their high attack power and destructive level, they're just kids who think they're too strong to actually train." Tsume said.

"Oh? Even you have fought them?" Fenrir asked with a raised eyebrow. From what he knew, Tsume should be the youngest person here. Even Feathers was older than her.

Feathers was actually one of the first beings Eien brought into existence. In her own words, Dragons were overgrown lizards and didn't look cute or elegant enough.

Shun was like - "...Wow!" when she told him that.

"Of course. I wouldn't let my protégé think she's the strongest when she hadn't even fought the true peak level powers of this World, would I?" Izanami said with a proud smile.

"Oh." Fenrir replied and immediately lost interest. Since it was Izanami that vouched for her, he was already content with it. Wouldn't want some random nobodies talking down on his little Uncles and aunts right?

{A/N: In Case you're wondering ''How'', here's how. Hagoromo is Shun's father, Shun is Fenrir's Father, The Tail Beasts are Hagoromo's children, making them Shun's siblings and by extension, Fenrir's Uncles and Aunts. But as they are younger than him, he calls them "Little"}

As for Shun's relationship to Kaguya…Fenrir's decision was to not poke that bee-hive until the whole family gathered. That way, he'd look insignificant due to his size alteration ability.

'Impressive as always.' Fenrir thought as he patted himself in the back.

This is not the end. Just the end of the Fourth Shinobi War. Next chapter will be Naruto and Sasuke's Death and Final Awakening before the Mugen Tsukiyomi is cast.
