Chapter 509 - Chapter 109

End 3

...

"So you really want to leave?" A young man wearing a Chunin flak jacket asked another young man standing opposite him. "Unfortunately, I can't allow you to leave. Orders from above."

"I already told you, I'm not the same as I was before. Although I doubt it this seal could hold me before, now, it's akin to a paper trying to hold onto a mountain." The young man said and flared his chakra causing the seal circle carved on the ground to shatter.

"It seems you really have grown stronger...here." the man said and pulled out a headband and handed it over to him. "Take care of yourself out there... Naruto.".

"You got it, Iruka-sensei." Saying this, the young man smiled brightly as his figure disappeared in a burst of speed.

"I can't even follow his movements...how strong have you gotten... Naruto?"

...

"Bee-san, you said there's a barrier we need to break out from before we can leave this island?" Naruto asked the middle aged man running beside him.

"That's right-yo! But not just one, but three-yo!"

"Oh? And how much damage can it withstand?" Naruto asked not minding the man's tick.

"A normal bijuudama would suffice, but since it takes time to build up a bijuudama, the self regenerating ability of the barrier will make our effort seem fruitless." Bee said with a serious expression for the first time.

"I see. Then we just have to make sure it doesn't have the time to regenerate." Naruto said as he came to a halt on top of the tallest tree.

Closing his eyes, his thoughts went back to that one Jutsu he had seen in his memory - Amenomihashira - A Jutsu capable of contending with a Susanno.

Although he didn't really understand what all those images were, he understood that they had something to do with him. Perhaps it was Shun's method of teaching him new techniques?

He didn't know, but he knew that that technique was powerful when used with normal Rasengan...What if it was used with Rasenshurikens?

Cupping both hands together, Naruto formed a barrier of shimmering light, his chakra swirling within it like a raging tempest. Within the barrier, five miniature versions of the Rasenshuriken began to take shape, their razor-sharp edges gleaming with deadly intent.

Bee and Gyuki who were watching this scene could help the cold sweat that ran down their spine. This Jutsu..."It has a more destructive effect than the bijuudama."

Gyuki commented to which Bee could only nod. And that with only five balls.

One had to know that the bijuudama was the combination of the Yin and Yang Natural Energy of the world. In a way, it was Chaos, but controlled Chaos.

The Amenomihashira, despite being named Pillar Of Heaven, was just pure destruction. Wind Chakra condensed to its peak form. A normal Rasenshuriken could obliterate anything it comes in contact with to the most minute atom...a group of them...

Words needn't be said about It.

With a fierce battle cry, Naruto unleashed the technique, sending the body of Rasenshurikens hurtling towards the Barrier.

The three-fold barrier shimmered with energy as it intercepted Naruto's attack, but the technique proved to be a force to be reckoned with. With each impact, the barrier strained against the relentless assault, its self-regenerating properties struggling to keep pace with the overwhelming destructive power of Naruto's technique.

Despite its best efforts to reinforce itself, cracks began to form in the barrier, evidence of the Rasenshuriken's relentless onslaught. With each successive strike, the barrier weakened further, its once formidable facade crumbling under the relentless barrage.

The first Barrier was soon taken down with only one Rasenshuriken haven exploded.

Soon it was the second and two rasenshuriken was all it took and subsequently the Third barrier. With a final surge of power, the Third barrier shattered into a thousand shards, unable to withstand the combined force of Naruto's Rasenshuriken.

The air crackled with energy as the Rasenshuriken tore through the remnants of the barrier defenses, leaving nothing but devastation in their wake.

With a proud smile, Naruto observed his hand work before turning to Bee. "Let's go, Bee."

"Wee! Yeah!"

...

"What a lad, in some way, he's a greater genius than Uncle." Izanami said approvingly.

It wasn't news that their uncle Ashura was an idiot in more ways than one. It wasn't that he wasn't a genius, but that he never really tried until he was forced to.

And by then, whatever he did just made everyone go: As expected of Ashura.

Although he didn't care about it, it was an indelible fact that Ashura wasn't really the brightest tool in the shed.

To see someone carrying his Will so effortlessly recreate a technique and even improve it...

"Father, did you do something to him?" Izanami suddenly asked as she looked at Shun suspiciously.

"Hmm? What are you talking about?" Shun asked with a serious face, not betraying the fact that he had done a thing or two to the two brothers.

"I've observed Uncles' Reincarnations for years...none of them should be able to show this much development at this age." Izanami said causing Izanagi to also nod

"That's right. Although I didn't really care for Uncle Ashura Reincarnations, I'm well aware that Uncle Indra's Reincarnation shouldn't have that much physical strength I felt from Sasuke." He mused with a serious expression.

"Oh? Perhaps my training regimen helped out in the end." Shun said with a similarly serious expression.

"Aha! Papa! Was it that time we went to that sketchy man and stole some slimy things...what did you call them...? Potions! You said it would help 'those two'. Was that it?"

Feathers, the innocent little swan, just had to talk.

"Oh? I did something like that? Perhaps it was a clone I hadn't dispelled. How ingenious of him. Truly." Shun followed up without skipping a beat.

"Father." Izanami cried out at Shun.

"Hmm?"

"Forget it." She sighed and turned away from him.

She wanted to complain at him for his experimental tendencies. Just like how he'd fed them those pills when they were at death's door in their childhood, she already assumed that he did the same to the two boys.

But remembering her father's status now, she dropped it. After all, None of his creations had been failures before. He was just that good.

...

"WHAT!? THEY DARE!!" An enraged voice rang out from the headquarters of the Shinobi alliance startling everyone in the hall.

"Calm your anger Raikage-dono." Tsunade, who was seated beside the man, said. She, Mei, Kaito and Ai the fourth were the only Kages who hadn't been deployed into the battlefield as of yet.

"What do you mean by calm my anger?! Those who are going against the very reason we are fighting this war. They're basically delivering themselves to the enemy." Ai said angrily.

"Watch your tone Raikage...." Tsunade glanced at him icily before sighing and turning to Kaito. "Has Shun made any efforts in joining the war?"

"Not that I know of. His sister, though, is on the front line. From the latest intel, she had just defeated and sealed away the Third Raikage." Kaito reported to which Tsunade sighed once more.

"I don't know about you Raikage-dono, but since Shun hasn't made any efforts in stopping the boy, why are you bothered?"

"That's my brother we're talking about here. Once those two are captured, it's game over. I don't know what games that man is playing, but our lives are at stake here."

"And you think he doesn't know that?" Mei suddenly said. "In case you weren't paying attention, he had been working towards this for centuries."

"All the more reason to doubt him. If he was that powerful, why not take action and end it once and for all." Raikage protested.

"For someone so old, you're quite shortsighted." Mei replied. "I may be speaking based on what I know of his son, but he's likely the kind of person who would seat and watch the world burn if the World doesn't want to save itself."

"That's quite apt, Mei-san." Tsunade chuckled. "Back then, as Kuchiki, when asked why he didn't stop the warring era, he'd say: They haven't lost enough to know that they needed to stop. Luckily Hashirama lost quite the few."

"What are you both getting at?"

"For all his flaws, he didn't let the Uzumaki clan die out..." Tsunade said. "He may be cold hearted, but it's for a reason. He'd come out when we need him."

"That still doesn't assure me." Raikage slammed his hands on the table and sat up. "Where are they now?"

He asked the sensors in the room and they were quick to pick up on their chakra signatures...afterall, in the world currently, those two boasted the greatest chakra.

"Mabui!"

"Sir!"

"Send me there." He ordered but the kunoichi seemed hesitant. "What!?"

"Raikage-sama, the Heavenly Transfer Technique is only for Objects, performing that Jutsu on the human body has its risks." The kunoichi reported with a frown.

"So? Be quick. We don't have all day. I need to see what gives those two the guts to think they could disobey orders." Ai thundered and walked to an open space.

"Wait..." Tsunade suddenly said.

"What now?"

"I'll be going with you." She said,

"Hokage-dono." Mabui was already close to tears.

The Shinobis watching these felt pity for her but couldn't do anything about it. Afterall, this was two villages' Kages they were talking about.

Any mishap and she would lose her life for killing two Kages.

"Don't worry about it. I don't know about your Raikage but I'm quite strong." She said and winked at the woman.

A few seconds of persuasion later, Ai and Tsunade were both transferred over to the location Naruto and Bee were.

...

"That man is quite insolent." Eien who was coincidentally watching the scene with Shun said angrily.

"No. He's right, Eien." Shun said and ruffled her hair.

"Why? He said bad things about papa." Eien puffed her cheeks as she looked at Shun.

"That's what happens when you care too much. He can't bear to see his little brother be killed, hence his overprotective attitude." Shun replied.

"He's overdoing it though." Izanami snorted but Shun merely laughed.

"But that woman's technique reminds me of that man." Tsume said as she looked at the white haired and dark skinned woman who was fidgeting in the hall.

"Hmm, The Clan is blessed with a great affinity to Space. Unfortunately, like the wielders of the Senrigan, only one can wield the Bloodline in a hundred years." Izanagi said.

(A/N: the Senrigan is a legit Dojutsu from the Series. It gives the Wielder the Yin Style: Creation Of All Things Abilities for only 10 minutes a day. So they can create things but it won't last. Once the wielder stops channeling chakra, the created object fades away.)

"Hmm, unfortunately she hasn't trained the ability properly. Back then, that man was one of the three that formed Kumogakure alongside God Anel." Izanami added.

"Tenkuji and Akarui...Those two made Kumogakure seem undefeatable back then." Tsume added with a look of reminisce as she touched her shoulder.

"Akarui...if I'm not mistaken, he had entered the Training Dimension and had managed to leave with Your ax." Fenrir said.

"Hmm. I'm aware. Being able to wield that ax alone made me notice him. Unfortunately it ate away at his life force." Shun said as he thought. 'I can wait to see him right during this war...I wonder who I should make fight him...Nee-san perhaps? Imagine a clash between Escanor's Sun and Yusano's ice.'

"Now that you mention it, pops, I saw his cell amongst the few you wanted Reanimated." Izanagi said.

"Um. I'm aware. Same goes for Tenkuji. The five first generation Kages would be Reanimated too. Madara and Hashirama ought to have a bit of a reunion."

"But will they listen to orders? They all have their own Haki y'know. I fear for Orochimaru's life even."

"Don't worry about it. Hashirama won't allow them run wild."

"Aren't you looking too highly upon Hashirama?"

"He's your uncle's Reincarnation. One who managed to tap into Senjutsu without being taught. You tell me, am I really looking upon him highly?" Shun askee back.

"Alright then, we'll see."

...

Shun and his small family watched on as Ai and Tsunade materialized just a few meters away from the approaching Naruto and Bee.

Of course everything went nearly according to the Original timeline other than Naruto not being one to be talked down to.

On a subconscious level, he held himself on a higher standing than the Raikage and even when the Raikage went for the attack, so did he.

And unlike the case of Minato who didn't manage to make contact, Naruto squarely smashed Ai into the ground much to Tsunade's shock.

"I'll tell you what I told Iruka back there. I'm not on the same level I once was, don't expect me to go down easily." He said and then turned to Tsunade.

"I know what I am doing, and I know that it is wrong on so many levels. However, I need to do this. This isn't me looking down on everyone's determination, but me doing what needs to be done."

"I've seen what we've been fighting against. I've also seen what will be coming in a few hours. I need this. So just relax and sip some tea. It'll be over before you know it." After saying this with a sunny smile, he flashed and disappeared.

Bee, who was watching, didn't know what to do. Whether to go help his brother up or go after Naruto.

"Just go already!" Luckily, Ai's loud shout gave him the direction he needed and he was soon on Naruto's tail.

...

Meanwhile...

Konohagakure...

"Are you sure about this?" Itachi asked his little brother who looked back at him and nodded resolutely.

"I need to understand a few things. I've only seen one part, I need to see- No, hear the other part from them." Sasuke said before glancing at Orochimaru.

"I don't know who that man was, but are you sure you want to Reanimate those people?"

"Kukukuku, what could possibly go wrong?" Orochimaru said but inwardly, he knew that everything could go wrong. However, he wasn't able to withstand that man's pressure so he could only accept.

'Hopefully, he knows what he's doing.' Orochimaru thought, remembering the assurance the white haired man had given him.

"Then, it's about time we began." Sasuke said
