Title: Konoha's Destruction.
...
"You're really...one cunning individual aren't you?" Nawaki asked as he sat cross-legged on the floor. Behind him were various Chunins and Jounins of Konoha, some from the Konoha police, some from active Shinobi.
In front of them was a masked man, dorned in the Akatsuki uniform, but from the aura around him, and the way he carried himself, their thoughts on him was...He was a Child.
A cunning one at that.
"No no, Tobi is a good boy. Tobi not cunning." He said and huffed in annoyance, similar to how a child would.
"Then as a good boy, why don't you let us out?" One Shinobi asked in anger.
Their entire group had been trying to subdue this one person but all they got for their efforts was nothing...other than wasting their Chakra, they couldn't bring this individual to take them seriously.
"Eeh? But the boss said not to let you guys interfere." Tobi said, sounding a bit hesitant. "And Tobi is a good boy, if I let you out, I'll be a bad boy." He said.
Others wanted to complain but Kawaki spoke. "Give it up. From the look of things, he was sent here to keep us in check. The group attacking the village is probably taking precaution."
Kawaki peered at the masked man for a good while before saying. "This guy isn't weak. The fact that he hasn't attacked any of us should tell you that."
"But there's a possibility he can't attack because he's maintaining the barrier." A masked Anbu said, from their tone, one could tell it was a girl's.
Kawaki however shook his head. "That's not possible. I already have a good idea on how this fellow fights, and that has nothing to do with his inability to use chakra. He's not taking us seriously."
Kawaki said in a matter of fact tone that made the masked man chuckle in amusement.
"This ossan is funny. Tobi isn't strong. In fact, Tobi is..." Tobi paused and began counting on his finger from one to eight. "...the weakest."
"Oh? Then who's the strongest?" Kawaki asked.
Tobi scratched his head for a while. "That should be Pain-senpai."
"Pain, you say? Is he the one attacking the village?"
"Ding-dong. You got it correct...but there's no reward."
"Too bad..." Kawaki smiled.
"Kawaki-sama...?"
"Take a rest, this will be over soon. He's sneaky. We have no way to counter him, except..." He said and looked at the Uchihas beside him. "...there's an Uchiha with a space related Mangekyou Sharingan..?"
"The Mangekyou Sharingan?"
"That's impossible. It's not that easy to get one."
"Other than Izumi-sama, no one has the Mangekyou Sharingan in the clan."
The various Uchihas all shook their heads in rejection as well as denial to which Kawaki didn't suspect that they were lying.
He knew the necessities to awakening the Mangekyou Sharingan. Wars and Deaths were part of the deciding factors. No matter how much you train, without that emotional instability, your chakra will just remain as it is. Enormous, but without an evolution.
If it was that easy to awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan during times of peace, the Uchihas would have probably reigned supreme throughout the world.
"Then that's a pity. Perhaps someone as fast as the Fourth Hokage would stand a chance, but..."
"Yondaime-sama?" Someone asked and Kawaki nodded but didn't say anything else.
The group all fell silent while observing the masked man. Obito on the other hand, despite his lax attitude, still had his guard up.
Although he could confidently take on everyone here, Kawaki included, he still needed to reserve his chakra in case Nagato failed.
He wasn't arrogant to think that Nagato would succeed, and even if he did, he knew he would need to battle him to take control of both the Rinnegan and Tailed Beasts.
Yahiko, Konan, Nagato and 'Risa'.
Although the Fourth wasn't really a threat, he wasn't one to pass off a Medic Ninja just because they lacked combat skills.
They were the most dangerous of them all. They were people that knew the body's structure inside-out. One touch from them could spell your doom.
As the group maintained their passive states, The sensors amongst them all simultaneously turned their attention to the skies with varying expressions marred on the faces.
Kawaki was the most affected as he hurriedly stood on his feet. "Impossible..." He muttered to himself.
"Oh-oh, seems like the boss has found what he came here for. I'll be on my way then. Tobi has been a good boy." He said and brought his hand up to his face before swiping it down.
As he did, his body slowly twisted and disappeared. To those who were paying attention, that seemed absurd, some even thought it was an illusion.
And as though drawing their attention to the thing that mattered the most, a deep voice rang throughout the village.
"Now...this world shall feel my pain... Almighty Push."
...
Minutes Earlier
Tsunade was currently sitting cross-legged on a seal Formation carved on the floor of the roof of the Hokage Building.
This seal Formation was one she used to better share her chakra with Katsuyu, her Summoned Slug, to better heal the injured Shinobi. Due to her role as a medic nin, many not in the know would assume she was weak in real combat.
Of course, tales of her world shaking strength were known to all, but having strength and knowing how to use it were two different things entirely.
Due to this, the Anbu around her were overly protective of her, Yugao, to be more precise.
She was the current Anbu commander and her direct superior was Tsunade, the Hokage herself, so she didn't let down her guard for even a second.
Tsunade didn't blame them though, they were all young to know about her feats, yes, she hated fighting, she hated taking lives, she would better spend her time saving them and figuring out how to better save them.
But thinking of her as weak was the first step to losing when against her.
That was why, before Yugao even noticed the arrival, she'd already noticed Ningendo barging into her sensory field.
With her eyes closed, she could better perceive what was going on in the outside world. With Katsuyu being slug, her...or rather, their method of perception was through their eyestalks which were sensitive to light.
So with it, she could perceive what was going on throughout the village.
Of course she wished could go smash all these puppets in one punch, but as the Kage, and a medical nin, preserving her Shinobis' life came first.
Due to this ability to perceive whatever Katsuyu perceives, her body is left vulnerable, but her decades of experience allowed her to overcome that weakness...hence the sensory field.
It served as a Domain of sorts since unlike the normal sensory fields, in hers, she could perceive all. Be it the smallest change in temperature.
Step!*
"Behind you!" Yugao alerted her subordinates as she put her hands on her katana. She wasn't in a hurry to attack since her main priority was safeguarding the Hokage.
The three other Anbus also placed their hands on their weapons, prepared to draw it at the slightest movement from the newest arrival.
Tsunade however, stopped circulating her chakra, opened her eyes and turned to Ningendo.
Her gaze was extremely calm as she observed him. As she did that Ningendo also gazed at her. Their gaze locked for a good 10 seconds before Tsunade stood up.
"Six piercings in the nose, seven in the ear...it's him." One of the Anbu said and Tsunade couldn't help but glance at him.
'Like... seriously...Who do you think we have been fighting since?' she thought, but didn't dwell on it.
"It's you." She said, recognising the very eyes that Jiraiya once said was an omen to world peace.
"It's been a long time, Lady Tsunade." Ningendo began calmly. "You're the last remaining member of the legendary Sannin I haven't been opportuned to speak with."
"Oh?"
"I wish to take a moment to speak with you." He said.
"I'm pretty sure we could have done that had you come in peacefully." Tsunade said while shaking her head. "And the last Sanin to speak with you is already dead...that doesn't seem to be a good sign, now does it?"
"Unfortunately... Jiraiya-sensei and I...we couldn't come to an understanding." Ningendo said.
"You're that boy...what happened to you? Didn't you have red hair?" Tsunade asked. She could still remember that the body from back then wasn't this one.
Although age could change one's appearance, it wasn't to the extent of changing one's hair... Except he dyed it?
"It seems you remember me?" He said, causing the Anbus to drop their guards. Removing their hands from their weapons, one turned and looked at Tsunade.
"You know him?"
"A little."
"Who's he?"
"A God who restores Order." Ningendo replied.
"It seems he's not in his right mind." One foolish Anbu said in jest but Ningendo ignored him.
"I would like you to call back Naruto Uzumaki." He offered, causing Tsunade's expression to flinch a little.
"And why would I do that?" She asked.
"The hunt for the Jinchurikis is almost over. The Tailed beasts are no longer equalizers in maintaining the peace between the Elemental Nations." He said.
"It's meaningless to protect the Nine Tails now." He said.
"So your target is Naruto?" She asked with a small frown. To her, Naruto was like the son she never had, but no soul would ever figure that out. Whether it was because of his similarities with little Kawaki, or just the aura he has, she loved that kid like hers.
And not to mention her, an even greater monster saw him as family, although she didn't particularly know how strong Shun was, the 12 year old him was strong enough to send shivers down her spine.
She dreaded to know how much stronger he'd gotten since then.
"War will begin very soon. Seeds of war have already been planted ready to explode at any point in time. And we...we shall control those wars. If you cooperate with us, we wouldn't be averse to helping you. From the state of this Village, you should know what we're capable of."
Tsunade, in her normal state, would have probably gotten riled up, however, she smiled and said. "I don't know about the other Kages, but you shouldn't underestimate me."
With slow steps, she walked out from behind the Anbus who tried to stop her. A flex of her chakra however, told them to know their places.
"You terrorists seek to destroy this peace that I and our predecessors strived to bring and maintain. Your words fall on deaf ears." She said,
"Such arrogance!" Ningendo said. His closed eyes slowly opened, and when it fully opened, a pressure like no other fell on the area, the buildings around him began shaking as though they would break at any moment. The Anbu standing behind Tsunade all stumbled backwards and fell on their knees and butt...all except Yugao who managed to remain standing. Her trembling body was testament to how much pressure she was withstanding though.
"Such chakra!"
"Impossible!"
"How can this be?"
The three Anbus all cried out in terror upon witnessing the pressure exuded from him.
'This is the power of the Rinnegan?' Yuago thought in horror. 'How can anyone beat that?' but as soon as she thought that...
"Huh?!" Tsunade bellowed as an aura, equal, if not greater than Ningendo's flared out from her and staving off Ningendo's aura.
"Your peace...It has brought nothing but violence upon us." Ningendo said as his aura receded.
"Hm. I'll admit. The past actions of the Village were not entirely just. However, your actions are unforgivable." Tsunade replied without losing her ground.
Her reply however brought a frown on Ningendo's neutral face. "Be careful what you say. This is your final warning from a God. Summon Naruto back."
"God, you say? I've been hearing you call yourself God for a while now...what gives you that impetus?" Tsunade asked with a smirk.
"Strength. My invincible strength gave me that right. Now speak. Will you summon him or not? Choose wisely however, your answer will determine the outcome of this...war." he said after giving it some thought.
To him though, this wasn't war. He was just metting out Divine retribution on those who deserved it.
"We will pour each and every ounce of power in our availability in bringing you down. One other thing...You made a huge error." Tsunade said.
"Preposterous. God makes no mistakes."
"Heh. I'll give it to you anyway." Tsunade said as the diamond mark on her forehead began to shimmer. "What you desire, you shall never get."
Ningendo seeing this knew that should a fight break out, this body of his would be destroyed. He wasn't so arrogant as to ignore the massive amount of chakra being channeled from that mark into the Hokage's body.
Unlike others who may not be able to perceive it, he could see it. That chakra... Like hell he was taking that head on.
"If you think Konoha has what it takes to protect Naruto, then..."
"Wrong!" Tsunade interrupted and put on a proud smile, she said. "Naruto...is strong!"
"I see." Pain said.
"You may have been able to kill Jiraiya, and I'm sure you have what it takes to kill me too, but I'll have you know...You won't win." As Tsunade said that, the markings from her forehead spread thoroughly throughout her body making her presence seem so invincible.
The chakra wafting off of her made the very building around her shake, and this was just the effect of unleashing her Secret Technique.
"Hokage-sama." The Anbus called out but she waved her hands gently at them, generating a wind pressure that threw them off the building.
Looking behind Ningendo, she calculated how much force it would take to punch him directly out of the village without overly destroying everything around her.
At this very moment, she was prepared to go all out. Ever since her battle against Hanzo, she hadn't gone all out as she was about to at this very instant, after all, no one has been able to withstand a single normal punch from her.
To her, she was probably the Female version of that guy her Uncle Kuchiki once said ended all his fight in a single punch.
What was it again...Ah...The One Punch Man.
Perhaps this 'God' would be able to take more than one?
Thinking this, she kicked off the ground and was immediately in front of Ningendo. Seeing his eyes still following her, she smirked as she bawled her fist. "[Normal Punch]"
Ningendo however, brought his palm up. [Shinra Tensei]
BOOM!*
The Hokage building was directly destroyed due to the force behind the collision of the two forces.
Tsunade's punch wasn't simple and so was Ningendo's Almighty Push.
However, due to Tsunade restraining her punch to just the normal punch, it didn't directly cause much damage to the surrounding village.
After all, as the Kage, willfully destroying her village would mean that the repair and reconstruction would be funded from her own personal finance.
That...she wasn't going to bear it.
"It seems we can't come to an understanding." Ningendo said, floating a couple feets away from Tsunade who had an annoyed, yet excited smile.
'It Seems he can take more than one punch.' she thought as she prepared for the second one.
"Mount Myoboku...The Land of Toads huh...Seems like lingering here is useless." He said and turned and made to leave, however...."May I ask you one question...?"
"Hmm?"
"That chakra on your leg...Is it to counter my Jutsu? It seems you've long realized my Jutsus. However, before overwhelming power, all that is meaningless." He said. "You great Nations proved that over the years. You all think you have the leading role in this World and do not think twice about death."
"Soothed by peace, you became shallow. Even the Famed Land of Flowers, heh." Ningendo said with a snicker. "If you kill people, you shall be killed. Hatred brings about this cause and Effect. My...Ria...She taught me that."
"Stop babbling such nonsense." Tsunade snorted as the look she used to look at Ningendo changed. Before, although he was an enemy, she found him making some sense.
After all, who cares about reasons when you're strong?
Now though..."I'm sure whoever told you that didn't mean this." She said,
"Humph. War begets pain, suffering, injuries. Both sides suffer from this in a battle." Ningendo continued, unaffected by her words.
Unknown to Tsunade, he was stalling so as to allow his remaining teammates to evacuate the village. His puppet bodies could be summoned anytime but Yahiko came in with his main body.
He had to make sure he'd left the village before...
"And we of the Great Nations have had our own share of pain! Stop finding excuses for your actions. Own them like a man. Right or Wrong, be a man goddamnit!" She scolded.
To her, the words Ningendo was spouting were akin to a kid finding reasons to justify his actions.
Yes... A kid.
As an adult, no one cares whether you're right or wrong. In the Shinobi World, whatever actions you take, you own them. After all, a Shinobi does what he thinks is right for his village.
They were that selfish.
Ningendo turned around and glared at the woman. He felt insulted by her tone. It seemed as though she was... scolding him? Him? A God?
"That is laughable." His rational mind made him realize that confronting her in close quarters would not end well for him. Also, he'd tried using his Almighty Pull on her and found that he couldn't move her.
For some reason, the space around her was not stable enough for him to impose his force on.
"Feel Pain."
"Contemplate Pain."
"Accept pain."
"Know pain."
Ningendo began as he slowly climbed in attitude towards the skies.
"Hmm? Wait! Pain!" Tsunade cried and pursued after him.
She felt the chakra in his body climb to an astronomical level. 'I thought this wasn't his main body!' she thought as she pursued him.
'Damnit! How much chakra would his main body then have if just a puppet has this much?' she wondered as she continued her pursuit.
Meanwhile, Ningendo was still going on about...
"One who does not know pain couldn't possibly understand true peace!"
'What the...he's still climbing? How am I supposed to fight someone who can fly? And what the hell is he planning?' she thought as she tried to locate him.
However, it seemed like he had climbed to a spot where the sun prevented anyone from seeing his body.
...
"That student of yours is kinda funny." Shun said with a chuckle as he observed the climbing Nagato.
"This ain't time for jokes, Shun. Do something about this or let me out!" Jiraiya said.
"And then what?" Shun asked and threw a Popcorn into his mouth. "You've fought him once and lost terribly. Your throat, heart, liver, lung, arm and leg....all destroyed. What makes you think you can go back...like that."
Shun said while glancing all over the Toad Sage.
"I-...just do something. He's going to destroy the village!"
"I know. But as the wise men of old once said... Destruction is the next step to Evolution." Shun said.
"Which wise man said that?" Jiraiya asked angrily.
"I did. My wisdom transcends time and space." Shun said smugly.
"You-!" Puff!*
"Damn. I didn't know one could actually cough blood from anger." Shun said and handed the man a white handkerchief.
"You...can you be serious?"
Shun frowned at the question. "I'm always serious Jiraiya. Always. Now watch. If not because I already know what would happen, I really wish to know how Nagato would enter Mount Myoboku...No, I might even help him get in there."
"Why? Why would you do that?" Jiraiya asked in exasperation. He really couldn't understand this young man beside him.
"Why? Of course it's to watch how he'd fight against that old sage Gamamaru."
"Gamamaru-sama? How can you call him that disrespectfully?"
"Heh. Look who's talking? I'm sure you would've killed that old fart a thousand times over if you could." Shun sneered at Jiraiya who looked away but didn't deny.
"Gamamaru-sama is already old, how would he possibly fight?"
"What do you mean? That old fart has been alive since before the conception of Chakra. He watched as the seed of chakra descended upon us, watched as the progenitor of chakra 'misused', watched as the Sage Of Six Paths and his brother fought and sealed her away and also watched as the Nine Tailed Beasts were born. Trust me…Nagato wouldn't even know what hit him."
"You… How did you know all these? And what do you mean by misused?"
"Story for another time Jiraiya, but one thing I'll tell you is…Y'all… The entire Shinobi world is akin to the Proverbial Toad at the bottom of the well." Shun said and pointed at the screen, he said. "Now watch."
…
Mount Myoboku
Bang* Bang*
Sounds of flesh hitting flesh rang out as Naruto and Fukasaku sparred using the Toads Unique Taijutsu…The Frog Kumite.
The Frog Kumite was a unique Style of combat created by previous sages and perfected throughout the centuries as new innovations were introduced.
Shun even had the opportunity to mess around with it for a while in the past and while it wasn't all that to his taste, it was still a favorable style of combat in his opinion.
The Frog Kumite is a fighting style used exclusively by those who have mastered Sage Mode and trained with the toads of Mount Myōboku.
The senjutsu chakra used during Sage Mode "activates" the body in various ways, enhancing the user's speed, reflexes, strength, stamina and durability.
This enables a sage to achieve incredible feats which include leaping great distances, shattering sharp materials with their bare hands, as well as lifting massive objects.
It is known to be a flawless taijutsu that has no openings in either attack or defense.
When using Frog Kata, the natural energy used by the practitioner to create senjutsu chakra also surrounds the user in an aura of that same natural energy.
This aura can act as an extension of their body and cannot be seen by anyone other than those who have trained in senjutsu. It was basically a physical domain expansion.
By utilizing the aura, the user can extend the range and force of their physical attacks.
Strikes that seemingly or would normally miss will actually make contact with the target. Only users of Sage Mode can see or sense this aura's extension.
Nothing else, not even the Rinnegan can see it. One punch has enough force to cripple and completely finish off an opponent, not unlike Chakra Enhanced Strength.
In fact, they were similar
In addition, the enhanced speed, reflexes and heightened chakra-sensing from Sage Mode, combined with the skilful body movements of Frog Kata, allows the practitioner to not only evade enemy strikes at the last possible moment, but accurately counterattack an opponent.
In Shun's tone back then: "Eh? This is basically a full Haki package isn't it? I already have all those. Don't need it."
After saying that, he went around studying the toads records on Energy Manipulation.
This was centuries ago, when Shun was originally in his youth.
"Bad news! Fukasaku-sama!" A girly alarmed voice broke their concentration as they both stopped sparring and landed beside the messenger…tadpole…a gigantic one.
"What's wrong?"
"Big brother Kosuke, our messenger to Konoha has been killed." She reported
"What!?"
"His name has disappeared from the Register." The toad said.
"Does that mean something happened in Konoha?" Fukasaku wondered.
"Eh?"
"Naruto-chan, I have a bad feeling."
"Old Sage…" Naruto wore a frown after hearing Fukasaku's words. "Don't tell me the Akatsuki attacked the village."
"Luckily, Ma went to gather provisions and is near Konoha. She'll be capable of summoning strong warriors, including us. Get ready now!"
"Understood!" Naruto said and immediately sat down to gather Senjutsu Chakra.
…
In Konoha.
In Konoha emergency ward, Sakura and numerous medic nin, doctors and nurses were all running helter skelter while attending to the wounded.
Be it civilians or Shinobi, they needed to attend to everyone as having one dead person on their watch was against Tsunade's principles.
Even if it meant casually treating a near dead person to attend to the next person, as long as no one died, it was all good.
'Dammit! I won't get to all of them like this!' Sakura thought as she just finished treating one patient and looked around the hall.
…
In another part of Konoha, Kiba mounting Akamaru and Tsume were both chasing after Jigoshudo, and just as Akamaru was about to have a bite at him, he disappeared.
"Nani!"
At that very moment, all the sensors in Konoha felt it.
The absence of the same foreign chakra that had brought nothing but destruction on them.
"It seems like… they've retreated." Shino said in a particular alley
"Yes, but it doesn't make sense."
…
In another part of Konoha, Ino was weeping with the corpse of Shizune cradled in her arms. "Shizune-san…"
One had to know that in the previous 2 and a half years, it was Shizune who showed them the ropes as it pertains to Medical Ninjutsu.
Apart from Sakura who got her lessons directly from Tsunade, Shizune was the one who taught both her and Hinata. So in a way, Shizune was her second Sensei after Asuma.
Watching his daughter crying with the corpse, Inoichi walked up behind her and tapped her shoulder in consolation.
This was war. In war, you had to bear the risk of losing a loved one. Ino was too young…No, she was too protected to know the horrors of war.
If this was a real battlefield, she wouldn't even have the luxury of mourning her friends. They'd just die and you as the one left alive would have to fight so as not to end up like them.
And then, when you survive, you have to bear the emotions that come with surviving.
Like Shikaku had said earlier…No one would jump into that hell known as war willingly, if they knew what it would do to them.
…
Sniff* Sniff*
Kiba, still mounting the grown Akamaru, sniffed the air and said. "Their scents are completely gone. They're not around here."
Tsume, who was supporting herself with her dog partner burst out laughing with an air of arrogance. "It seems like my power scared them off eh?"
'Don't even start with me Ma…if it's Hana-nee, it's understandable…' he thought with a tired expression. 'But still, leave it to her to take advantage of the situation to show off.'
…
With Tsunade.
"Tsunade-sama!" Yugao called out as she appeared behind Tsunade. She didn't dare get close due to the enormous amount of chakra wafting off the Hokage.
"What's going on?" She asked but Tsunade ignored her as her eyes were locked on the Flying Ningendo.
"It's hard to think they'd just retreat." Another Anbu appeared behind them and said.
Tsunade however, remembering what Ningendo said before he began in ascension, frowned deeper. "They intend to do something…"
"Something..?"
"I don't know. But it's something huge. You guys should go somewhere safe. You're too weak to do anything here." she said harshly causing the four Anbus to pause
But being the sensible person she was, Yugao actually nodded. "Understood Hokage-sama." And went another way.
…
"Commander!" One of the Anbus called out to Yugao.
"What?"
"How could you just leave the Hokage? We're her personal guards." One of the men asked in anger.
"Personal guards?" Yugao asked and snorted in disdain. "Guards who fall to their knees and arses in the face of an enemy."
The three Anbus seemed to reel back in embarrassment but didn't say anything.
"Even if we followed the Hokage, what could we possibly do? We'd just end up being counted amongst the collateral damage in the aftershock of their battles." Yugao said.
"Just a clash from the two destroyed the Hokage's office…although I feel the Hokage wished for that to happen, imagine we were there when they clashed?"
"No need to feel down about the Hokage's dismissal. A part of being strong is knowing which battles you should fight and which you should run away from."
"Yes. Run away. Don't think of it as cowardice. Only the living come back to fight another day."
Listening to her rebuke, the three other Anbus seemed to be in reflection as they ran to help around in any way they could.
"We understand, commander."
"It's good that you do."
…
Mount Myoboku.
"I'm counting on you." Fukasaku said to a messenger toad as they stood beside a small well in the outer region of the dimension. "Make sure Ma gets the message."
"Yes sir!" The messenger toad said and jumped into the well.
…
With Tsunade.
"Katsuyu! Protect everyone!" she ordered as her instinct told her that something bad was definitely going to happen soon. And as a war veteran, her instinct rarely ever lies.
'What is keeping Naruto?' she thought.
From her estimate, Naruto should be back by now. After all, before the attack even commenced, she had asked the Messenger toad to summon back Naruto.
She was, however, unaware of the fact that Danzo had killed the Messenger before it could teleport away.
…
Outside Konoha.
"I have to make it Lady Shima as soon as possible!" The messenger toad that has just jumped into a well back in mount Myoboku jumped out of a well just at the outskirts of Konoha.
And with a strong leap, he rushed off to deliver the message to Ma.
One had to know that these toads were the most diligent species of all sage animals currently in the world and not even death could make them fail a mission.
…
"That direction…that's definitely Konoha." Shima said to herself in mild horror as she saw the rising flames and smoke filling the skies.
"Oh my Goodness…" she said as she walked forward to get a good view of the Village.
"Shima-sama!" The messenger toad quickly ran? or jumped up to Shima and clasped his hand. "I came through the Distance Teleportation Pool. I have a message from Fukasaku-sama!"
"To summon them, eh?" She said, predicting the details of the message.
…
Outside Konoha.
"What's going on?" Konan asked, as the numerous bodies of pain were summoned by Chikishudo.
"I'm going to use that Jutsu." Chikishudo said
"What?"
"You can't! That Jutsu will shorten your already short life." Konan rebuked.
Nagato however, paid her warning no head as all his puppets fell to the ground.
"The power of the Six Paths…" Konan muttered as she felt the chakra leave their bodies and transfer to another…"You're really going to do this…Eh, Nagato?"
…
In the skies Above Konoha.
"Hah. I will never forget that look of Pain." He said with a resolute Eyes…God she may have been but dead she was.
Death brought about by the insecurities of this world. And that look of Pain on her face as she tried not to retaliate against those who sought to do her harm.
'Perhaps after this, I'd get to meet her husband? And then I'd ask him why he'd watch his wife bear that pain…' he thought.
If Shun knew what was going on in Nagato's head right now, he'd probably snap the guy out of existence but…
"And now… The World Shall Know Pain."
…
Outside Konoha.
[Kuchiyose no Jutsu!]
…
Within Konoha.
To Everyone who was a sensory ninja, this was a moment like no other. To those who weren't, this was also a memorable moment as…
To the perception of those who could sense it, it was as though the forces of the World decided to act against them at that point in time.
First came light…
And then the Voice.
"[Shinra Tensei]"
It was so calm, devoid of any emotional constraints. It was as though judgment had been passed on them by a God as one of the Fundamental Forces that governed the Electromagnetic Spectrum bore its fangs on them.
To those with luck on their side, they could perceive what happened next, and to those without…All they could perceive was darkness. Darkness that followed closely behind the cold embrace of Death.
