Chapter 460 - Chapter 60

Title: Meeting Old Acquaintances

...

With a thought, I was already in my home, it wasn't the family house as I had already moved out due to certain reasons, Yusano too.

As soon as I relaxed, I decided to visit my first, one and only male friend, Shibai. I needed answers after all and only he could provide them.

As for him being my only friend, well that's due our Immortal characteristics. Kakashi, Itachi and the rest were still friends I hold dear but soon, they would have to succumb to their death.

The best I could do for them is reincarnate them in my home universe and hope they'll have what it takes to reach a stage similar to my original body.

Lying on my bed, I decided to pick a trick from Ishikki's books and use his Genjutsu Communication.

It was basically an Illusory Projection of his body through dimensions. The more powerful ones control over his chakra was, the more places they could go

In short, I could project myself anywhere on this planet.

But now that I think about it, how did Zetsu get the rings capable of doing exactly the same thing for the Akatsuki?

I remember creating the ten rings back then, which I later discarded due to it being sub-par. The only things going for them was their ability to connect to a central hub where I could store anything my clones got their hands on.

In doing so, my main body could acquire it wherever he was.

I later found I could fold space to achieve teleportation back then and the rings became useless, but now that I think about it, what really made me throw them away?

"..."

"Oh well, I guess it had something to do with fate or something along those lines. Maybe I was manipulated to create those rings? After all, their origin was a mystery even in the original timeline.

Enough of that, time to meet the OG of this Universe before I came along.

Concentrating on my spiritual energy, I directly sent it through the space-time of this planet and straight to the bottom of the Ocean and into the Amethyst Palace residing there.

"Yo. Shibai! Not gonna come greet an old friend?"

A loud grunt resounded through the palace showcasing his probable displeasure at my intrusion.

"Come now, it's not like you have anything doing. Come on out, I have a little doubt I need you to clear." I asked,

"You...feel weak." Was the reply I got from the ancient soul that took residence in the palace.

"Of course I do, this is but a fragment of my soul sent into the circle of reincarnation." I said with a smug smile,

"Circle of Reincarnation?" His disgruntled voice sounded again, but this time, he was puzzled. "There isn't a circle of Reincarnation in this universe." He said and appeared in front of Shun's holographic body.

"So that got your attention, huh?" I asked. "You haven't changed a bit since we last met."

Shibai facepalms at the holographic body of Shun causing Shun to cough in embarrassment.

"Anyways, there isn't a circle of reincarnation, but if my brothers could force their will to reincarnate, why can't I just cut off my soul and send it to awaken in a newborn? Isn't that Reincarnation in its beauty and all?" I asked the Soul of Shibai.

"That... that doesn't make sense. It's a forced one. You could've damaged your soul."

"Hehe, but it's already damaged, no? It's a fragment to begin with. So no harm done. Plus, the soul of the infant I took over hadn't even formed when I took over."

"That's still dangerous, y'know, be careful. Anyways, what brings you here?" Shibai warned before asking.

"Hm. It's about your body...You didn't intentionally misplace it here on this planet did you?" I asked, my tone and expression turned serious.

"Misplace? Why would I misplace my own body? I created this planet to be my resting place, so of course my body isn't misplaced." Shibai answered nonchalantly, however his answer sent Shun's mind into a pause.

"..."

"What's with you?" Shibai asked and only then did Shun snap out of it.

"You created this planet?" I asked softly despite the shock I had just received.

"Of course. I needed a planet that could mask my Life Signatures from That Bastard who injured me severely when I was about to accomplish my long long...."

"Wait! Hold up. You're serious?"

"Of course, why would I mess around with you?" Shibai frowned before snorting and continuing.

"As my body was already infested with a trace of his Chaos Energy, I had no choice but to cast it out while placing a seal on it. It had a higher level of Chaos Origin Energy than mine so there was nothing I could do about it." Shibai explained.

"So you're telling me that your body is akin to a time bomb, that could explode if tempered carelessly?" I asked just to be sure, perhaps he could be meaning another thing altogether.

Unfortunately... He nodded. "That's about right. But fear not, with the development of the humans and beasts of the world, it'll take them a few couple millennia before they could even hope to nick the seal."

"For real?" I asked, feeling a little bit relieved at the moment.

"Hm. According to the current Strength System, only a God King could hope to tamper with the seal, but even that wouldn't be enough to break it. Someone at my level would be needed to do so." Shibai said with assurance as well as pride in his achievements.

"You don't say." I replied calmly while thanking whatever Greater Deity that was watching over this planet.

"Then that's good. That's what I just wanted to know."

"Just that? Wait. Did something happen to my body?" Shibai asked. His confusion was evident as he couldn't understand why Shun decided to visit him only for something as miniscule as this.

"Unfortunately yes. A stranded Otsustsuki seemed to have found it in whatever cave you had kept it, and soon, he'll begin experimenting with it to create Artificial Otsustsukis. I had the thought that you were probably scheming your return by manipulating things to go as they were now." I said feeling like I shouldn't hide anything.

It's not like I needed to in the first place. As a God, albeit a Fragment, I was Omniscient. This was a Transcendental Trait Being would have when it comes to things below their level of existence.

I could basically gleam the truth from any and all conjunctions I come up with, and although Shibai hadn't reached that level, lying to him would still lead me to nowhere, so I'd better just tell the truth and be done with it.

It's not like he could do anything about it.

"WHAT!? THE GALL! TO THINK THAT BRAT WAS THIS DARING!!"

Damn, he seemed to have woken up on the bad side of the bed today.

"SHUN, I'LL BE SEEING YOU ON THE SURFACE." he said to me and made to leave but I stopped him.

"Calm yourself, it's just your body, no matter how much damage is done to it, it can always be fixed when my main body gets here." I told the guy while rolling my eyes at his overreaction.

"Be calm?! Be fucking Calm? That child! The Brat I pitied and gave a pointer or two a few years ago actually had the gall to covet my body?" Shibai asked calmly, but his rage was still evident on his face.

Afterall, it was difficult to near impossible to deceive the soul, no matter how much control you may have, the soul was the one thing that can't even be deceived.

"Yeah, stay calm. I got information just now from a friend from the future and thought you may have had a hand in the creation of the new generation Otsustsuki."

"Why would I allow such an abomination?" Shibai asked and I shrugged.

"I don't know, to get yourself a new functional body from your original body?" I asked back only to see his confusion and anger increase once again.

"And why would I forsake my beautiful body? The body I spent so long on Perfecting just for some knock-off version of the lesser Species that is my people?"

For some reason, the way he called the other Otsustsukis lesser than him seemed cool in my eyes, but relating it to the feeling I once had when I saw myself with wings, I understood.

As a Pseudo-True God, Shibai felt that all beings below his state of existence were Lesser.

"Just chill, will you. Keep chilling in your palace for a few more years, I'll take care of the situation outside. I still need this world to evolve in a way suited to the advancement of their general strength."

"Y-You..,!"

"Be calm." I said, this time, applying a little pressure on his soul through this Holographic projection.

"I'll take care of it." Saying that, I dispelled the illusion and returned to reality.

This short conversation had been mind opening to say the least. At least now, I understand why those Cyborgs from The Future were so Overpowered in comparison to actual Otsustsuki.

This planet was akin to a cancer to the universe, a cancer created as a resting place by a Pseudo-True God.

With the mixture of Kaguya's Original Chakra, the Humans of this world became Unique in both a good way and a bad way.

The good way was that they could hope to reach a stage similar to the Otsutsuki in the future, and the bad way being that they were potential food for the Otsustsukis.

Oh well, perhaps this is their first step towards being the supreme race of this universe or something along that line.

Now, to visit one last person.

Focusing once more, I appeared In Front of my oldest Enemy.

"Yo. Ishi-kun." I greeted with a small smile in an attempt to be friendly. Wouldn't want the guy going all apeshit on me right now.

"You!" He screamed and sat up from his resting position.

"Me!"

"You...What do you want?" He asked calmly

Seems he's discovered I'm only a projection. "I see you're still using the little monk's body from back then."

"Unfortunately." He said with a sad expression. "Your precious humans all seem to reject my existence. None of them is capable of bearing my Kama."

"Hehe, you make it sound as though you're planning on impregnating them or something." I joked only to receive a deadpan stare from the guy.

What's wrong with these Otsutsuki today? None of them can take a joke. Humph.

"What brings you here? I haven't done any harm to humans and you know it." Ishikki stated and nodded.

"You haven't, infact, if not for one of your latest... escapades, I would've totally forgotten about your existence." I told the man and found a spot for myself and made myself comfortable.

So much for being a guest. I wasn't even offered a seat in both the palace and here. Humph, uncultured people.

"My latest escapade?" He asked with squinted eyes.

"Don't look at me that way. Your Shinjutsu won't affect my real body from here. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that your ancestor isn't pleased."

"Wha-?"

Before he could complete his question I was already gone.

Appearing once more, I was in the skies atop the Shinobi world as I gazed upon it in amazement.

From within, one would think the planet was small due to how much land the Five Great nations occupy. With Hanagakure and Kirigakure being islands, the rest of the land was majorly populated by the other nations.

However, similar to That Chinese Emperor who managed to conquer the entirety of Asia back on modern earth said on his deathbed: If I knew this was only a continent of many, I would've conquered the entire world.-

If only the World Knew the amount or land at their disposal, they would probably die of shame due to the unnecessary bloodshed of the First to Third Shinobi wars.
