...

Fujirawa and Toshiba stood facing eachother with rising auras, and as soon as Shun's 'Begin' sounded, they both rushed at eachother.

Toshiba being all brute force used his right hand to levy a straight punch at Fujirawa who expertly dodged it to his left and then gave an underarm punch towards Toshiba's gut.

Toshiba as experienced as he was wouldn't fall for such things. Despite his rash nature, he was quite the genius in Taijutsu, so he used his left hand to receive Fujirawa's punch.

As the two fist clashed, it generated a little sonic wave Which the two men allowed to push them backwards so as to create some space.

As soon as they landed, they lept off again and rushed at eachother and began punching out with just pure physical strength.

Although Fujirawa had a bevy of techniques in his arsenal, he was fighting for the recognition of his fellow captain so he had to beat him in his own field.

This battle last for quite some time until Toshiba began noticing something.

He was taking more damage than Fujirawa but he didn't know how. In terms of Taijutsu, he was supposed to be at the top but this fellow captain of his was actually winning, and winning convincingly.

"Although it isn't particularly honourable, I still have to use this small trick to win you Toshiba-san." Fujirawa said as their fight didn't cease.

"What did you do?" Toshiba asked.

"Although I'm not using the full power of the Ketsuryūgan, I'm still using it to project a minor illusion for you." Fujirawa said and dodged Toshiba's leg sweep.

"Every move of yours is captured by me before you actually make the move, I've placed myself on an illusion that will instantly alert me to every move coming towards me at exactly 0.2 seconds before you use said move. Making me able to avoid and choose a good course of action." Fujirawa explained as he continued his fight with a losing Toshiba.

"What does that even mean?" Toshiba asked as he was already panting after just 20+ minutes of fighting.

"It means you'll never be able to reach me." Fujirawa said. "I created this technique to combat the Rikugan... Although it's still a far cry from what the Rikugan can do, it's still enough to make me invincible to anyone as fast or slower than me.". Fujirawa said as he dodged another punch and spinned before catching Toshiba in a chokehold.

"Do you concede?" He asked.

Toshiba, although aggrieved, knew this was it... He couldn't possibly beat someone with a cheat technique like this.

For a moment, his belief in his hardwork till this day faltered but Shun's words immediately rang out.

"That's a good technique, but as you said, Toshiba only needs to be faster than you, right?"

"Hai." Fujirawa answered.

"Here that Toshiba? Seems like you've been slacking off on your speed training, guess this is an eye opener, eh?" Shun asked him who had been released from the chokehold.

"Hai... Seems like I'll have to redouble my training." Toshiba said with renewed vigor.

"That's a good way to live my man..." Shun said. "Next up on the program is Toshiba verse Mikoto."

"C'mere Toshiba." Shun said. As Toshiba reached Shun, he placed his hand on him and directly healed him to his too shape.

"I don't want to bother Mikoto with healing you so this will do. Go give her hell." Shun encouraged.

As for his cousin, he gave her a wink and raised his hand. "Begin,"

Unlike when the two men duked it out, Mikoto stayed on the defensive as Toshiba bombarded her with one punch after another which she also evaded m, blocked and retaliated when necessary.

Her face was unnervingly calm as she gazed at the every movement of her fellow captain.

"From the beginning, you seem to have forgotten the special abilities of the Rikugan." Mikoto said softly as the fight continued.

"Humph, I'm fully aware, Sonchō never went a Training without reminding us all of our weaknesses when paired against it." Toshiba said with a grunt.

"I see... Then in testament to your strength, allow me to go all out." Mikoto said and then her entire presence changed.

[Domain Expansion: Overwhelming Healing]

As soon as her words fell, the entire training ground was covered by nothing but the ocean as far as their eyes could see but Shun could actually see that they just covered the training ground.

"Now then, I hope you last long enough under this particularly new technique I recently created." Mikoto said with a soft smile that didn't match the current atmosphere.

"[Healing Influence Authority]" she said and almost immediately, Toshiba felt like all his wounds, fatigue, muscle tears were being healed.

At first, he was elated and mildly confused as to how she could heal jer opponent in such an important battle.

However, his joy and confusion didn't last long as he felt as if his body was becoming more bloated. It was as though the healing energy, after doing its work, went further to store themselves inside Toshiba's cells, muscles and bones.

This wasn't what he could hold, this wasn't his energy, this wasn't what healing was meant to do. This was akin to forcing down water into an already bloated stomach.

The only result is this water wasn't given an outlet was an explosion.

"I believe you already know what will happen if you don't give up soon, Toshiba-san." Mikoto said.

At this time, Toshiba's body didn't look human again. His muscles and toned outline were all gone and what was left was a bloated mess that could pop if an external force acted on him.

"Hg..dhish..ush.." he managed to say after which Mikoto happily took retracted her Domain only for Toshiba to realise he was back to normal.

"Wha-What was that!?" He asked with dread in his face.

"Hehe... Forgive me Toshiba-san... That's was only a Genjutsu. I couldn't possibly do that on a normal case. Fighting you physically would be time consuming as I have more advantages there than you do, I could only end this farce and be done with this." Mikoto said.

Turning to Itsu, she said. "I believe the answer to your riddle is Memories... Am I right?" And smiled at him.

"... absolutely... correct. How did you figure it out?" Itsu asked.

"Well, as a member of the Tengoku clan, we believe that we are Gods the moment we can achieve our domains. It is basically the manifestation of a user's powers, abilities, and personality that exist within their mind. It is rare and also easy to achieve. We pride ourselves with having perfect chakra control but even that isn't enough to create a Domain. It's all in here." Mikoto said and pointed to her head.

"How does that relate to anything?" Yuri asked in confusion.

"Because, all of what she's mentioned are all recorded down in our memories. In our memories we are Gods and Devils, name it. We can create a world in our minds, save a particular moment in time to repeat infinitely and also. When we look back at our memories, we smile, feel sad, cry and many more emotions." Itsu said and looked at Mikoto with respect.

"Don't look at me like that. Aniki taught me all these when we were all little. In summary, all this is a matter of the soul. Be it the emotions, memories, personality, abilities and Chakra itself. It all stems from the soul. And with a perfect understanding of this, a domain is innately formed in here." She said again pointing to her head.

"That's when it becomes easy for us to manifest it through our Rikugan while a normal person would have to train harder to do that." She finished.

"So it's that simple to get a domain?" Toshiba asked.

"Of course it is." Shun said as he stood up. "My domain is a domain that rejects everything I deem unfavorable to me. It all stems from my feelings or wanting everything to go my way. That's why when I use it, it has no effect on reality... Like this."

As he said that the entire training ground began to crumble and rearrange itself to form a ruin.

"Well, that's that. Should I shut it off..." The training ground instantly went back to how it was. "It returns to how it's supposed to be."

"So it's like a SSS Rank illusion ability?" Itsu asked.

"Eh... Yeah. Think of it like that." Shun said not expecting that kind of comparison. "Anyways, this doesn't end in just that. The various Kages have their own respective domains but are unaware it's a domain. But that's for you all to find out and for me to know."

"Now then, I believe Itsu's vote goes to Mikoto, Toshiba-san who do you vote for and Yoruichi, do you still want to fight?" Shun asked.

"No..." Mikoto interuppted. "I don't want to be the Kage."

"Hmm?" Was the reaction of everyone at that statement.

"I'm not fit for that. Plus, if the First and second Hanakage are from the same clan, people might begin to talk." Mikoto said.

"Is that really the reason?" Kageno approached her and asked.

"No... I want to live peacefully with you. Have you ever seen Aniki leave his office whenever you want to give a report?" She asked.

Kageno shook his head. "See? I don't want to live like that. Look, he's almost thirty and doesn't even have kids, no offence Aniki."

"Non taken." Shun replied with a tone that made people want to pity him.

"What!? I'm not offended." He tried to defend himself seeing their gazes.

"Our little babies need is both... The world has changed now, you know." Mikoto said as she smiled so beautifully that made Shun want to compare hers with Hinami's from centuries ago.

"Yeah. You're right... I just thought it was your dream to take over from your brother is all." Kageno said.

"Nah... I dread to seat in that position, that's the reason I'm giving my vote to Fujirawa." Mikoto said and then seeing the look on his face, she said. "No offense."

"Ah... Non taken?" He said. "For some reason, I believe the offense should be taken by Kuchiki-dono."

"Aiya... You're not even in office yet and you're already dropping the honorifics... I'm so sad." Shun said in fake sadness.

The captains all laughed as this was one of the rare moments they get to be just them. Not a captain in charge of an entire department. Not a Captain in charge of other captains. Just them.

"Then as for the Kage Summit, I'll be taking both Fujirawa and Mikoto or Kageno." Shun said knowing those two wouldn't want to separate from eachother.

"Sorry for asking this but must I go?" Fujirawa asked. "The village still needs it's Police chief."

"Of course you must. This summit will be a power play of sorts. The other Kages will bring their prospective successors as a show of power. Trust me." Shun said.

"Then why not take Mikoto and Kageno?" Itsu asked.

"Because apparently, I took offense to what she said and don't want them to be together for some time." Shun said unashamedly.

"Ah..." Itsu said in realization.

"Alright, that settles it. Take care of whatever you need to take care of, we'll be leaving for the land of Rōran on the day after tomorrow." Shun ordered not letting either Kageno or Mikoto say anything.

After that, he disappeared.

"Why do you think he said the day after tomorrow?" Fujirawa asked.

"Because whether the other Villages like it or not, they have to give our Kage a little bit of respect." Itsu answered. "Also, there is a possibility he wants to go and relax and dodge some responsibility legally."

"I see... Quite the mind he has on his shoulders eh?" Kazuma said in understanding.

"Truly. Fujirawa, you have some ways to go in that department. Everything won't be all about keeping the peace from the inside soon." Yoruichi said.

"Well, he has a year and some months to understand the inside workings so he should be fine."

As they were discussing this, they all tacitly decided to ignore the couples who were arguing on who would be going.

They all knew Mikoto was stronger than Kageno and should go but they also understood that as a man, Kageno wouldn't let his woman go into dangerous territory while he's relaxing here safely.

"Meh... That's why I don't want to marry. Complicated emotions and shit." Itsu whispered to himself.

"Language Itsu." Kazuma said.

"No seriously... They tend to cloud and reduce you IQ, I wouldn't wish that shit on anyone I care about." Itsu said not minding the warning.

"You have people you care about?" Yoruichi asked in mock shock.

"What do you take me for? I'm human you know? And Kuchiki-dono always emphasizes on having a life outside work. I just don't like it when that thing begins creeping up in here." Itsu said as he pointed to his chest.

"I see." Yoruichi said and then proceeded to leave. Some people needed to experience shit by themselves before they understand that some shit are necessary in life.

...

Two days later, we could see four figures and two little stumps standing on the port city boarding a ship that would take them directly to the land of wind by dropping them on the Land of Waterfalls.

From there they would walk through the Land of Mushroom and the Land of Storms before stepping foot on the Land of Wind where people would be waiting for them.

"I've been wondering for some time now, but... Did I ever say that this was a family vacation?" Shun shouted silently so as not to terrify the little bundle of joy he was forced to carry.

"Forgive me Kuchiki-dono, but I ask that I accompany Mikoto on this journey." Kageno on a very rare occasion attempted to kneel only to be stopped midair.

"Damnit Mikoto, I don't like this stunt you're playing right now." Shun angrily rebuked the mother of two who was looking at him with a puppy dog eyes.

"Stop that, that doesn't work anymore." Shun said.

"Ah... Chosato-chan, look, uncle is bullying mummy." Mikoto said to the other little bundle she was holding who then looked at Shun with her big round eyes in confusion.

As a century year old man, Shun had a lot of things he was resistant to but he pure gaze of a child wasn't among them.

Putting on his brightest smile, he proceeded to carry the other bundle he was holding together with the one from Mikoto and began baby talking to them.

As though the babies could understand him, they too began to baby talk and Shun seemingly forgot about the other three and boarded the boat with smiles on his face.

Who could remain angry when talking with two cute and adorable children who didn't understand shit and were just so true to their whims and desires.

"Did you know Kuchiki-dono was weak to children?" Kageno asked.

Mikoto had insisted on going and told him he could come too if he agreed to bring the kids.

At first he was reluctant, and seeing Shun initially angry made him regret accepting that preposterous idea.

Now though, it seemed like he had found a secret to something uniquely unique in life.

"I've grown up with him for a long time, how could I not know how to handle him?" Mikoto said in a prideful tone as both Fujirawa and Kageno remained dumbstruck at their new discovery.

Fujirawa had Children, two 5 and 7 respectively. If he had Known this years ago? Wouldn't life be easier for him back then?

'How about now?' He thought. 'No, those brats are beginning to have sense they aren't supposed to have, from Kuchiki-dono's expression, he must be attracted to their pureness. Sigh... What a pity.'

...

After that short interlude, the ship proceeded to take off with some others who had various destinations of their own. Ranging from merchants, to Shinobi who were going on missions.

To them, Shun and his party were just another random extra on the boat with their own destination in mind so nobody bothered them.

Nothing spectacular happened during the said except for one Squid who thought it wise to sink their ship. Fortunately they had squid meat to eat and several barrels of ink to sell which was sold to the merchants on the ship at cost price.

Not that they needed the money but Shun never gave up any chance at living a normal live.

The very next day saw them arriving at the Land of Waterfalls.
