Chereads / My Husband and My Alpha / Chapter 15 - 15. CLARA'S REJECTION

Chapter 15 - 15. CLARA'S REJECTION

"Clara, why?" Brandon stepped forward, but the woman in front of him actually retreated slowly.

"I've been bound by my vows here," Clara replied. "Our relationship has also been over since the quarrel."

"No, Clara. Not. We'll start over again."

Clara understood how Brandon was. The man still loves her. Everything can be seen from the look in his eyes full of sincerity. However, nevertheless, Clara had already married Jasper and would love the man until any time.

The woman shook her head. She was downcast. "I can't, Bran," she said.

Brandon sighed. He walked up to the woman who was still his wife, then cupped her cheeks instantly. Clara fell silent, especially when the man pecked her lips. Let their lips meet for the first time.

In fact, Clara let that happen. Her hand stretched out and framed Brandon's firm jaw, and then hammered the lips of the two. As all their memories recurred, the other side Clara didn't want to let this end so easily.

"Come back, please," Clara said after she let go of his kiss.

Brandon shook his head softly. "I'll stay here waiting for you to change your mind," he retorted.

"No, Bran. I already belong to someone else. Let me go."

"Your physique, your soul, is still mine, Clara."

Again Clara found sincerity in Brandon's red eyes. The man really made her inner craze just because of looking into his eyes. The woman shook her head. She confident in his stance.

"My soul you said? Then, what about my best friend you've already conceived, Bran?" she snapped. "Don't you remember that thing, huh?"

Brandon took a sip of saliva. Clara's remark was true about the pregnancy and it was completely accidental by him. "I—"

"Are you going to say that it wasn't intentional?" the woman interrupted. "Do I have to remind you of the affair with her too?"

Brandon was silent. His jaw tightened instantly. He sighed, then nodded. "Alright if that's what you want," he said. "I'll stay here."

"Whatever you say, Bran. Let my physique rot and let me go."

Don't know what demon had possessed Clara by now. Half of herself already hated the man in front of her. However, the blonde-haired man was really serious about his remarks. He grabbed Clara's body and led her to disappear from there. They appeared on one side of the swimming pool in the Jasper's villa. Clara was stunned. She looked back at Brandon with a thousand-meaning look.

Brandon nodded. He flicked his cloak forward for a moment, before himself melting along with a gust of wind. Clara sighed. She thought, Brandon would go back to kidnapping her like he was then.

"Honey?"

Clara gasped, then turned around. Jasper has been standing at the door of the villa.

"Where are you from?" the man asked.

Clara sighed. She walked over to the man. "I can't sleep," she replied. "So, I went out for a while to get some air."

Jasper was silent for a moment, then nodded. He hugged his wife. His blue eyes squinted. An strange energy was attached to Clara now and she knew full well who it belonged to.

Black Witcher.

Clara was probably trying to trick him this time around. However, who did the woman meet these nights with? Jasper has even set up a barier so that no one can enter his territory, but inexplicably can penetrate this time. Its energy is very strong and he has never encountered a Witcher energy of this level before.

"Come in," he invited then. "I don't want the future mother of my kids to get sick later."

Brandon saw clearly how Jasper treated Clara. Very delicate, soft, and lustful. The look in the man's blue eyes can't deceive him now. Being a Black Witcher gives Brandon a lot of talents, one of which can read other people's minds only through the look in their eyes.

The man snores softly. The sea breeze washed off strands of his blonde hair that were slightly covered in a hood. His red eyes seemed to flash. After a few minutes of waiting until Clara entered the villa, Brandon finally disappeared from there.

He appeared right in front of Annelise who was still faithfully waiting for him by the beach. The sand there is very smooth and can calm all emotions. Anne really likes this place because apart from the sand, she can also see the beauty that she never gets when living in forests and cities.

"How about it?" she interrupted with her hands folded in front of her chest. Brandon shook his head chimed in. She snoreed, then cupped the poor man's cheek. "I told you, love is blind and only lust can blind love."

Brandon was a little downturned. He took Anne's hand off his face and walked in the other direction. "I'll still wait for her, Anne," he said.

Anne fell silent, then pressed her shoulders. "Just waiting?" she asked.

"No."

The crashing waves seemed to fuse the man's answer. His eyes staring at the horizon on the other end seemed to imply seriousness. Anne stared at the man for a long time.

"I'm going to become stronger, to bring my wife back."

It is indeed difficult to forget the first love. Despite the many obstacles, still the first love must be fought for. That's how Brandon feels right now. It's not a matter of how he became strong to rival Jasper. However, how could he be strong to bring his wife back.

He knew the subtle way wouldn't work. So, Brandon had to resort to other, more cunning means of course. Luckily, Eden and Anne are willing to help him because they have the same mission. Destroyed the Owen clan.

A wolf jumped up and immediately scuttled instantly when something shot up and split its head. Blood gushed profusely and flooded around until it flooded near a man's limbs.

It was just an ordinary wolf and was quite small in size as a game victim this time. Brandon sighed. He shook off his hand that splashed blue flames until the flame disappeared. A rough decay escaped from his mouth.

"Bran." Someone called the man until he turned his head.

"What's the matter?" he asked.

Brandon found Anne standing not far behind him. He walked up to the woman, then pecked her lips red. It contrasts once with her porcelain-white skin. To Brandon, however, Anne was merely a good friend and a lust-eater. Just like most women out there who became his cheating on him while he was still in the human world. Even so, Anne didn't jealous at all. The woman actually enjoyed her current position.

"Anyone wants to see you," Anne said.

The man frowned. "Hm? Who?" he interrupted.

"An errand boy," Anne replied. "His boss will help with our business tomorrow."

Ah, yes, Brandon remembers once. Not long after Clara refused his invitation to return, he decided to settle there and start a new life. Brandon founded a branch business of Eden's company and is now quite developed. Not only to sustain his life while there, but also to be used by Brandon to expand his network and also his power now.

Anyone who knows the man will know if Brandon Hover has turned into an ambitious figure this second.
