Williams and Sam stood on the fence while the soldiers were outside waiting with sweaty hands. They had never heard of a zombie attack of these scale before and even the bravest amongst couldn't help but shook under the shockwave the incoming zombies were generating.
Williams looked ahead and discovered that in the front of these intimidating zombies, they were no more than a drop in the ocean.

The soldiers on the front line closed there eyes and brandished their weapon thinking that they had been attack when they saw a lightning flashed past them.
They relax when they realized that the lightning streak was their leader. But infact, many of them were confused about it. Wasn't the leader suppose to watch and only join when things were difficult. At least that was what Bella does, only joining when things were getting out of hand.
