"I thought out here will be fun but it's all just disgusting" Williams murmured.
He had only come here to inspect and to have some fun but was surprised when all he could find was scraps.
"Excuse me sir, do you know where the tavern is around here?"
Williams stopped an old man who passed beside him, after getting the direction of his destination. He kept on walking according to the man's description for about fifteen minutes.
Thinking that he had gotten lost, Williams was just about to turn back when he caught a glimpse of a drunk man staggering out of a small house. He walked up to the man and asked him if he knew where the tavern is, the man pointed to the building he came out from and staggered away.
Williams thanked the man and was about to enter when he suddenly turn back, 'That man I just talked it now was wearing a suit. Since when was there normal people around here'
He turned back hoping to see the man but he couldn't even find his shadow, it was like he just disappeared out of thin air.
"Hmm" rubbing his chin, a rare smile found it's way on his face. "The more the mystery the more the surprise"
Williams entered the room with his hood covering his head properly. "Hmmm, what's happening here" Williams opened the door and all he found was an abandoned house.
The furnitures were all webbed with spiderweb and the floor was filled with thick dust. The room just seemed like it hadn't be trodden upon in ages.
Williams picked up a book and blew off the dust on it's cover, "Cough cough, this is definitely not an illusion. Then how come that man came out of there drunk"
Williams tried to make sense of it cause he found it had to believe how a drunk man would come out of a house like this. Looking at the shelve which he had taken the book from Williams found something strange about it, right on top of it he found a circuit box.
'How could a circuit box be here' he murmured then he switched it to the other side and waited for something to happen.
He waited in silence for about 10 min but nothing happened, Williams was just about to give up when he suddenly felt a rumble. Although it was subtle, he felt it nevertheless.
As time passes the subtle rumble began to die down and it stopped some minutes later.
*Creak*
The shelf suddenly made a sound then it opened backwards, he pushed it further and passed through.
What Williams didn't know was that just as he passed through the pathway. The room went back to the way it was. It was like his presence was never there in the first place.
Walking through the dark passage, Williams felt some rumbling sound as he proceeded forward. The more he advanced the more the intensity of the sound.
After what seems like an endless walk, Williams finally saw a door. Walking to it, he placed his hand on the handle and was about to open it when he suddenly thought about something. Instead of rushing in he took a second to prepare his mind and ready to activate his power anytime.
Creak
He opened it softly then peeped through the small gap, "What the hell is going on here?" Williams muttered when he saw flashes of colourful light.
Entering, he found the place to be the total opposite of what he had in mind. The moment he stepped through the door, it was like all hell on earth was let loose. What busted his brain was music, colourful light kept flashing. Multitude of people was dancing with the rhythm of the music.
"Hmm, what is going on here" Williams murmured as he passed the through them until he got to the bar. Sitting down on an empty stool, Williams began scanning the people here one by one.
At a corner not far from where Williams was, a pair of red eyes opened abruptly under a red hood. At the same time the pair of eyes opened, a thick murderous intent spread out.
Williams jumped up alertly and looked at the corner but he couldn't find anything there except an empty chair and table. "Hmm, strange" He turned back again hoping to trace the murderous intent back to it's source but he couldn't even sense it anymore. It was like nothing ever happened at all.
He turned back to the bar man and asked him if he knows anything about what happened just now but the man only looked at him and shook his head.
"What is going on? How can I be the only one who felt that"
He still didn't give up on his search, he walked towards the chair again and inspected it carefully. He touched the seat and felt that it was extremely cold. He looked around again and found a back door not far from the where the table was.
Williams went through the door and found himself in a forest. His eyes lit up in surprise and he cried out, "How did I get here?!" He wanted to turn back and return but the door was no more there.
As all option was closed, he had to proceed forward and find out what secret lies behind the mechanism of this place.
Williams kept moving forward under the guide of the unexplainable glistening moon while taking notice of his environment.
After walking what seems like an eternity, he finally saw two people in the distance.
One was in a red hood while the other was in a black one, the two was currently in a hot argument.
"Kol, you know that you can't keep wander in their world always." The red one said.
From the voice, one could find out that it was a female. With his hands behind his back, the other one said furiously.
"Why are you all blindly following these petty humans. For all I know, This world was ours in the first place but then they took everything away from us! Everything!! Humans deserve to die!!!"
