"APOCALYPSE, a straightforward but excellent topic, What comes to mind when you hear? Many monsters that consume the brain and other living things? or an invasion by aliens.
We've read about all of these things in books and imaginations, but sadly, reality differed from what we'd read.
I was transmigrated into this frail and useless body two years ago. The only thing I have with me is this useless golden sword, and I can't seem to recall my memories from the previous world.
I once believed I could live in peace on earth. But as a result of my transmigration, an excess of mana flooded this realm.
For a world with mortal inhabitants that was so delicate.
All of it was too much for them to handle. They couldn't deal with the excessive mana.
Two days in a row saw the beginning of a global natural disaster.
Sadly, there were millions killed and billions hurt. When we thought it was all over, it wasn't.
All living things abruptly collapsed and went through the worst pain they had ever known; those who were unable to withstand the pain died. Those who had survived at the time had become a different species.
Demon, gorgon, human, and other races. Several races were born with distinctive mentalities, and the once-uniformed humans were now broken up into tribes that hunted for food.
For us humans, everyone of us has a unique talent. Mages were men who developed their skills and worked to support human survival.
I surprisingly had the worst luck.
*Krrkkk*
On his finger, a lightning bolt briefly flickered before dying.
"I am aware of your thoughts. Indeed, you are correct; that was the best I could manage.
Races once started harboring animosity toward one another, which led to their eventual separation.
I'm currently in jail, waiting for my tale to come to a finish.
"An interesting story for someone who ended up in jail."
A taunting female voice could be heard coming from a dark, abandoned prison nook.
Williams twisted his mouth and raised his eyebrows. You haven't yet explained how you got into prison, have you?"
The voice chuckled, "Hehe, I just did something so simple."
"Something that basic will get you in here for 7 months?" Williams scoffed in response.
"It's easy; when the demon leader saw me, he couldn't help but fall for me. But because he was too old, he kidnapped me so his son might have fun." There, she halted.
Williams, who was becoming intrigued by the story, was interested to know what happened next.
"Hehe, want to know?"
"Yeah!"
"I snipped out his masculinity. I can't believe they gave me a death sentence for that offense ". In an innocent voice, she said.
Williams inhaled sharply as he felt his legs trembling, "Yo...you!"
Two demon guards wearing black armour burst through the jail door with a loud "crack".
They passed Williams and brought the prisoner who had been with him for the previous three months out of the building.
"What's happening, and where are they taking you?" William enquired.
"To my death, it should be evident. I never imagined that I would pass away in this way, hehe"
She was taken out by the guards, who then hauled her off.
Williams was sitting on his legs and thinking about the problems two hours later.
"Oh, dear! I'll have to postpone my plans!" He lied when he initially spoke. He had a purpose for being here in the first place.
The demon race gathered around a circular stage in the middle of the town.
The demons resembled humans in shape, with the exception of their dark skin tones and their heads were adorned with two horns.
A young woman, perhaps twenty years old, was knelling on the stage while being bound with chains. Her neck was hung with a sword that was hanging there in readiness for her execution.
The woman's deformed hair could not obscure her stunningly attractive and lovely face, though.
She was a rare example of beauty among thousands of others.
"Death to the witch!"
"Yes, murder her."
"When I last saw them, the humans had grown much more repulsive!"
The demons appeared to be anticipating a performance as they shouted and raised their fists in excitement.
Bella, who was wearing a sword around her neck, spat angrily "Awkward?, Lol. You demons seem to have never seen a mirror."
"Why did she say that?"
"Kill her," said the speaker.
This time, the demons were incredibly enraged, and they began throwing everything they had at her.
She thought, "Hehe, looks like I struck their weak area, I won't go down without a fight," as she yelled, "Silence!"
When they heard her yell, the irate mob fell silent.
What is she going to say next?
"Shhh! Just give it a listen!"
Bella sighed after catching the demons' attention and appearing to feel sorry for them.
She responded, shaking her head, "It's a shame, really. I'm certain that many mirrors were broken when you showed up in front of them."
"Yeah!"
"It does occur occasionally!"
Bella's eyes widened in surprise; she had just made a wild assumption in an effort to tease them. But who would have guessed? She mockingly said, "It just so happened that those mirrors could not bear to reflect your ugliness and they are fragile you know?" while pointing to the sky.
".."
".."
The mob falls silent as they consider what she just stated.
"Die!!!"
The demon drew the sword and sliced ferociously as it was pointed at her throat.
Thud
Thud
As the head fell to the floor, The earth fell silent, and a head fell to the ground.
Surprisedly it wasn't Bella's head but the demon wielding the blade.
She looked back with a bewildered expression and saw a lovely young man clutching a golden sword while lightning danced all around him.
"Williams?!
