Xue Bai was definitely an unrestrained child, but he had some grounding morals and by no means could be regarded as shameless. However, this man was a truly shameless fellow.
He had ordered a volley of arrows to either kill Xue Bai or force him away from the 500-point jaguar. There was not a single inkling of goodwill in that volley of arrows that the calm youth spoke of.
And obviously not liking the answer, Xue Bai sent an arrow to express his displeasure.
The calm youth, expecting such a response, didn't react much but merely brought out his sword to deflect the purple-hued arrow. He was much stronger than Xue Bai, and since the arrow that the young duke used wasn't anything special, the calm youth wanted to destroy it easily and intimidate Xue Bai.
This way, he could potentially get not only the 500-point jaguar back but even the rest of Xue Bai's points.
