Later that night
"Clop clop clop."
A carriage moved slowly under the cover of night towards the Kolan family gate; this carriage was the one Frank had purchased for Peri; the difference this time was that it was only accompanied by two of the city guards that he had hired.
"There are only two people at the front gate," one of the guards muttered.
"Okay, let's do as planned," a voice echoed from inside the carriage.
Several seconds later
"Hey, stop there!" The Kolan family guard in front of the gate commanded as he quickly moved forward, spear in hand, and stood in front of the carriage.
"Hey, don't you know whose carriage it is?" One of the city guards rode forward and reprimanded the Kolan family guard.
