Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Go to see the witches

Roy and Henry went to the hospital parking lot. The two got into the car and drove off. The night wind blew into the car with each cool and refreshing gust. But it couldn't quell Roy's anger. He put his hand on the car door and rested his chin. After thinking for a moment, he asked:

"Why are you so determined today? I thought you just wanted to live in peace."

Roy thought that Henry just wanted to keep the image of a successful and elegant CEO, not wanting to get involved in scandals like fighting or something. But the facts prove Roy wrong.

Henry is truly one of the most unpredictable names on earth. He will think carefully about some things. And some things are very arbitrary. For example, driving to meet the Phantom gang. When he saw Eric lying motionless on the hospital bed, the blood in Henry's body began to move. Plus Roy's arguments stimulated his every limit. Perhaps Henry wouldn't care too much about the honor of the werewolf community, but if the safety of his friends was at stake, he wouldn't continue to remain silent.

"Sometimes I also want to taste some fighting games."

Henry was too lazy to explain his feelings, so he answered Roy casually. And Roy laughed again at that statement. In the Moonlight package, no one is unaware of Henry's reputation. Ten years ago he was cursed and joined with real werewolves like Roy. At first, Henry was known only as a weak werewolf. Some even discriminated against him and looked down on him. Because the other werewolves think that Henry is due to the curse to have a werewolf form. As for the true strength of the wolf, he did not have. But after the incident of beating the son of old manager Raymond to death, the whole community was wary of Henry. It's just that Raymond's kid is teasing him too much. Since that incident, Henry has gotten to know Roy and Eric. The three quickly became close friends. Henry also focused on self-development and turned into a famous rich man in New York City. In later years, he did not seem to care too much about the werewolf community. Perhaps part of it is also related to James, whom Henry considers a relative.

Henry's car was parked quietly in a small alley opposite the area of the Phantom gang. There was no light here except for the faint moonlight that was shining. Henry tilted his head against the window frame to observe the situation around him. A few people are walking up and down the road. They are the guards. Their faces are extremely grumpy and fierce. The architecture here is true to the monstrous character of the witches. Houses are built in dark colors, with oddly curved arches. Plants don't seem to be able to grow here. If you are not a knowledgeable person, you will certainly only see this neighborhood as a scary shabby area.

"Let's go in now, shall we?"

Roy reached for the handrail on the doorknob. He turned his head to wait for Henry's response. But maybe not as expected. Henry this time shook his head and said to him:

"There must be a lot of witches inside. We can't go straight in there for no reason."

"So what to do now?" Roy asked impatiently again.

"Over there."

Henry jerked his head in the direction of a small, unnoticed path. The place was dark and deserted with no one in sight. Roy looked at him and understood his friend's intentions. Henry and he will sneak into that Miller's main building this way.

The two got out of the car quickly hid in the darkness and headed for the path. But to get there, they had to cross the road. That means the two of them will clash with the witch guards. Henry and Roy stood in the corner behind an observation wall. In the end, they decided to have someone stay as a distraction. And that person was Roy.

"You have to beat that Miller up for me. Just like when you beat Raymond's son."

Roy patted Henry's shoulder admonishingly. His face in the moonlight showed even more brutality. Henry nodded promisingly.

"Okay. I'll definitely give that guy my strongest punches. You have to be careful, too."

"Okay, I'll go."

Roy finished his words and turned to go straight to where the witches were. Henry saw his friend successfully attract the attention of the guards and immediately rushed to the other path. He had just hidden behind a trash can when a witch turned and looked in the direction of the path. This guard felt as if something had moved behind him.

"Hey, I'm talking to you. Are witches always impolite like this?"

Roy saw that the guards were turning their heads to watch in the direction Henry was moving, so he deliberately shouted. This tone caused the witches to glare angrily:

"Do you know what you are talking about? This is our territory, werewolves like you have no place here. Get out."

"Hmph, how do you explain that witches have been harming other werewolves lately?"

The more Roy thought about it, the more angry blood rushed to the top of his head. Indeed, the community of werewolves endured in exchange for the contempt of these wretched witches. And the guards seemed to have just heard a joke and burst into laughter:

"Hahaha if you guys are strong enough then just fight back. Too weak to accept defeat or become slaves to us witches…"

"Damn it."

Roy gritted his teeth and swung a fist at the man who just said it. His punch used all his strength, so the other guy was thrown a meter. The remaining guards saw their comrades lying on the ground and became aggressive. They all drew their wands and pointed them at Roy. He immediately jumped up.

Under the moonlight, Roy turned into a huge wolf. Dark gray fur and golden brown eyes appear. It didn't take long for Roy to swing his sharp claws. The witches also chanted spells at the same time. From the wand shot ghostly rays of light. That's the cause of werewolf deaths lately.

Roy masterfully dodges and cleverly finds a way to approach the witches. He successfully caught one. It didn't take long for Roy to tear him to pieces. Blood was still lingering on Roy's sharp teeth. The rest of the witches were even angrier. They relentlessly launched their attacks on Roy. And unfortunately, he took a hit. Roy was immediately thrown into the air and then fell hard to the ground. Pain shot through his body, causing Roy to wince.

On this side, Henry has successfully sneaked into the main building of the name Louis Miller through the window on the first floor. He looked around and realized that this was a book room. Henry immediately went to the room door. Before opening it, he pressed his ear to the wall to listen to the situation outside. Lively music comes. Looks like there's a party going on.

Henry carefully opened the door. There was no one outside in the hallway. He frowned at the terrain around him. It was only then that Henry realized that he didn't know where the Miller's room was. While bewildered, voices came from the stairs. Henry quickly returned to the book room in a panic. Through a small opening, he saw two witches. They were carrying a cardboard box and lamenting incessantly.

"Hmm… why are we going to put our stuff away? I'm having fun with the party."

"Hold on, we're newcomers so we won't avoid getting errands. Come on, bring it back to Mr. Miller's room or we'll be in trouble."

Henry secretly rejoiced in his heart. Fortunately, there was someone to guide him. Henry waited for the two witches to disappear before opening the door to chase them. It turned out that Louis Miller's room was on the second floor.
