Since they both came in their own cars, they didn't leave in the same car but drove their respective cars to the next destination, which was a restaurant.
It's been a while since they were at the café, and the clock was ticking.
They went to the restaurant, another quiet one, and had a great meal. After the meal, the two headed for the racecourse.
Although the races were starting around 7 pm there, it didn't hurt going early. Diamond looked forward to such a gathering. She couldn't wait to go there.
