After dinner, she drove back home and found her parents seated in the living room. They had already had dinner, so they were just resting.
Diamond joined them and shared with them what she experienced throughout the day.
However, Diamond, being herself, couldn't help but act coy as she tugged her mother's arm as she sat on the carpet.
"Mom, it was so tiring. These people kept on repeating the same questions. My head is buzzing!"
Ma Perry chuckled helplessly and tapped her nose playfully. "Don't try to fool me. You think I don't know you?"
Diamond pouted as she looked at her mother sulkily, knowing that she had been exposed before she could go anywhere.
Pa Perry watched the scene with a smile on his face. The ambience in the room was very nice.
After playing and making her parents laugh for a while, Diamond remembered another important matter.
