Hours later, Diamond alighted from the car and closed the door. She didn't wait for the others at all and just marched into the house with her suitcase in hand.
If it hadn't been for the twins, she would have made the damn suitcase disappear. Unfortunately, some secrets couldn't be shown to everyone.
When she entered the house, Aunt Janet welcomed her.
"Good morning, Miss!"
Diamond smiled at Aunt Janet as she returned the greeting. "Good morning. How is everything at home?" her eyes darting around in search of her parents.
It was around noon and they were nowhere to be found.
Aunt Janet, seeing that Diamond was looking for her parents, felt amused inwardly and answered, "Everything is fine. Just that Sir and Madam left an hour ago. They said that they would be back before six," revealing Ma and Pa Perry's whereabouts.
When she heard that, it suddenly dawned on her that she didn't see the other car in the garage.
