The handshake lasted for a few seconds before the hands separated, and Diamond beamed at the lady.
"I hope that everything you heard was pleasant!" Diamond said bashfully upon seeing how eager this lady was to befriend her.
All her customers were family, at least those who didn't mean harm to her. Besides, this lady had given her so much face. So how could she not feel a bit close to her?
Samantha smiled upon seeing how friendly Diamond was. She wasn't expecting her to be so approachable like that. And what she liked about the other was how she didn't put on any airs or try to flatter her. Maybe she would see something different as they get to know each other gradually, but for now, she was loving everything that she was seeing.
"Only the good things. And you can call me Ma'am or Samantha, whichever one you feel comfortable with!" Samantha said as she looked at Diamond fondly.
