The next morning, after breakfast, Diamond left on her own and went to meet with Mr. Dike and Lucy.
Her lawyer, the one who had been handling all her assets when she started, met with her at the offices and the five of them, including Mr. Dike's lawyer, spent some quality time together.
The process was a bit tedious, but it was worth every second spent.
It was around noon by the time everything was finished. The transfer documents of the title deeds had been filled, the money had been paid in full, and all that remained was for the buildings to be in her name.
And that was something her lawyer was pretty good at.
Speaking about lawyers, Diamond suddenly recalled Nancy's lawyer friend. She had almost forgotten about her because of her busy schedule.
She couldn't help but wonder if the friend was in the country or not by now.
