To be honest, Diamond couldn't help but think more about the foundation thing. She couldn't lie to herself, but honestly, when she started this foundation, she was so green, and she was still so green.
Luckily, her employees were hardworking, and she had also been researching nonstop on her own side.
She discovered that her foundation was still lacking and although the direction was there, it still wasn't enough and she didn't dare compare it to the famous foundations she read about.
There were so many foundations in Athary, Orkney, and the rest of the world. And if she wanted to make a change, then she should at least put in a lot of effort.
Currently, her foundation was lacking a legal team, and this was something that she wasn't going to take lightly. She was still in the process of searching for a legitimate law firm with whom she could be acquainted.
As for the issue of trustees or board of directors, so far, she alone was enough. She didn't want anyone else making decisions and affecting her source of happiness because of their own motives.
However, in the future, when the foundation expands, she doesn't mind getting a few of them to help her run the foundation.
Diamond had set aside five million Atharian dollars for the foundation from the money that she had in her account.
Some of the money was used to buy her parents a villa and renovate her office building, but she still has around five to six million dollars in her personal account.
As for the foundation's account, some of the money was used to purchase the vehicles, and salaries and to donate to the school. However, there were still over three million in the account, and this was enough for more projects.
And some of these projects were what she and her staff talked about. And the one on top was still at that school where they went the other day.
This was actually better, as they could focus more on one thing and then move on to the next. At least they shouldn't stop in the middle after starting. This was the reason why she was forced to change the plans she made for the office building once more.
At first, she wanted to put a lot of establishments in the building and use them to earn some money for the foundation, but after a meeting with her staff; she knew what she had to do.
She believed in what she was doing, so she had this confidence that her foundation would have more people in the future.
So instead of using the building for other purposes, she may as well keep it for the foundation and use it well.
So, her plans changed once again, and she wasn't mad about it. She would get another building in the future or just buy one to fulfill her dreams of earning more money.
As she was currently the only person injecting money into the foundation, she needed a lot of sources of income to fund every project that they took.
At the meeting, they also talked about methods of earning money and they were actually good. It's just that they were still too green and unknown to earn money in that way; donations, charity events, and so forth.
The new plans for the building were actually very simple; the tenth floor was going to be the Chairwoman's floor, her floor. At least as the founder and owner, she deserved that privilege.
The ninth floor will be used for board meetings, while the other floors will belong to several departments. She will set aside one floor as a restaurant or cafeteria for the employees.
At least she could get to sell her farm produce at her own company in the future, which wasn't a bad idea. In the future, when her farm would be producing a lot of produce, she would open a restaurant and earn some money.
The underground floor was ready, and all that remained was for the chickens to be stored as soon as they were shipped to the city.
After changing the plans, she called the renovation company she used last time and signed a new contract. She paid a deposit, and all that was left was for the building to be brand new in a couple of months to come.
As Diamond and her staff had already discussed what to do next, they were already dealing with that. She had other things to do at that moment, so she went to the farm as the slaughter was already underway.
The chicken pens were no longer empty like they used to be. It seems Cain really did a good job. Each chicken pen has chicks or chickens of different batches, so that in the future, when one pen is slaughtered that week, another one will be slaughtered in a couple of days or a week.
Diamond checked the whole farm. Apart from the livestock, the farm was doing pretty well, especially the garden area. A lot of vegetables had been planted, and they were growing well.
It was just a matter of time before she would be able to enjoy them. She spent the day at the farm and finally returned home with over two hundred slaughtered chickens.
She didn't forget to leave some for the employees as well as some innards. She took the rest of them as they were delicious and some people would like to buy them.
It wasn't everyone who hated them, as most of the people found them quite delicious. She just wasn't going to start pretending as if she didn't eat them when she grew up doing so.
Diamond drove straight to the office building and spent quite some time transporting most of the chickens into the deep freezers. She took home some as Cecilia and her friends really kept on bothering her, for some chickens.
She also didn't forget to upload on her DIAMOND FARM page, that the chickens were now available. Last time she managed to get a good number of customers and her page now had hundreds of followers.
She not only posted about chickens but also vegetables as well. Of course, she didn't have time to reply to some messages as she was always busy at most times, but whenever she had time, especially now, she didn't mind replying to the enthusiastic potential buyers.
Diamond slept very late that night, but she didn't mind at all. She was so happy and to make matters beautiful, even her reward was much better than before.
Diamond signed in and received a money transfer. Although it wasn't much, it was still much better than receiving nothing.
