'Alas, I am going to miss her so much when she starts school!' Diamond mused as she waved goodbye to Ruby, who had successfully managed to send her off at the airport.
Earlier, Ruby had followed Diamond home from the foundation. Although she had regretted her little sister dodging work to send her off, she was still grateful to see that.
At least before going to an unfamiliar place, Ruby was there to send her off in person.
She also didn't need to allow Aunt Janet to drive her to the airport or hire a taxi or Uber to go there.
In the end, she just felt gratified, as she loved the feeling of being sent by someone. It somehow reminded her that she wasn't alone anymore and that her family was very close to her.
One hour later, Diamond was sitting comfortably in her first-class cabin as she read a magazine to pass off time.
There weren't a lot of people in the cabin, so she was freer and enjoying the wonderful process of traveling.
