"That's true. People don't just lend a hand for nothing. Which is why I want you to tell me what you are good at. I can provide you with a job and that will be my way of helping. You provide for your family and I get myself an employee," Diamond explained.
Ma Terry looked at Diamond, trying to read the other.
And from the way everything had sufficed until now, she could tell that Diamond wasn't there to dupe her.
She must really just want to help her. After all, if she wasn't a nice person, she would have just abandoned her back then, but the others didn't.
She didn't want to judge early, so she decided to see where everything would go first before deciding.
"I can do farm work, and house chores," Ma Terry truthfully answered.
She didn't know how to do other things, but doing those two; she was confident about them.
Diamond scratched her nose after hearing that.
