Chapter 8 - Already Moved Out!

Bang!

Tang San closed the door behind her as she entered her room. She couldn't stand for long as she soon slid down the door and cried.

The fresh memories of that day even made the tears to come out more. She was really disappointed in no one else but her parents.

She layed in that squating position with her face buried in her hands for a long time until she slept.

She did not know how long she slept but what woke her up was a knock on the door. She hurriedly stood up and straightened her clothes before she opened the door.

"Aiyo, young miss! What happened that made you cry?" The woman said worriedly as soon as she stepped into the room.

She had a calm and clear voice and the shape of a young woman. The only thing that could not go unnoticed are the streaks of wrinkles on her face and the hair strings that had begun to fade.

Tang San began shedding more tears at the sight of the woman. Her name was Qin Chou and she was the maid that had been taking care of her since she was young.

Even when her parents starved her one time for fighting with her sister, she was cold and left outside the house in nothing but a thin dress but nanny Qin Chou helped her by sneaking some pie ces of bread to her.

Qin Chou was worried but could only hold her in her arms and let her cry her heart out.

Tang San finally stopped crying after a long time and felt embarrassed. Her face was red and stained with tears. Her face was also swollen which made Qin Chou pity her the more on seeing her appearance.

"I'm sorry." Tang San said in a small voice as she wiped her face with tissues.

"There's no need to be sorry, child. Only tell me what made you cry like this."

Tang San explained everything that had happened earlier that day to nanny Chou which made her angrier.

"There is no need to shed tears. It was definitely not your fault! In fact, I blame your ignorant parents for all these!" Nanny Chou said as she was angry.

"Don't worry about what happened today. I'll definitely get my revenge." She said and a smile appeared on her face.

Tang San expression changed as she faced the old woman. Sensing something was wrong, she also tensed up.

"Nanny Chou, I'm moving out of the house." Tang San said with seriousness.

Qin Chou's eyes widened for a moment and her expression became sad.

"Why are you moving out? What don't you like about this place?is it the food? Is it your parents? They will sure--"

"I'm moving out because I need some time on my own." Tang San cut her short hurriedly.

Tang San didn't want her to worry about her wellbeing.

Qin Chou didn't say anything more because she didn't like it when people worry for her. "Sigh! These youngsters these days want to be on thier own and don't want people watching them. It makes me feel old!"

Tang San knew that nanny Chou felt worried for her and did not want to scare her. She helped her to pack her luggage into her box. When they were done, nanny Chou's eyes were red and she was already sniffling.

She helped her carry her box to the main gate of the mansion before they bid thier last goodbyes.

Tang San already called an Uber and got into the car after her things went behind. She knew that she would not feel like coming to that place again and she looked at the house again before they sped off.

Goodbye bad memories!
