However, the Saintess died after a few years of childbirth which also broke down the Hero turned Emperor. He went on a mating spree a year later and mated with thousands of women throughout his 200 years of reign and roughly 500 years of his lifespan.
No woman in the noble circle was spared. Even the Nobles themselves offered their wives just to have their children birthed from the Hero Emperor himself. But for some reason, the Hero only pursued Single women or widows. It seemed he was a man of integrity and culture as well!
And, by culture, it seems that not even other races were spared!
Elves!Dwarves!Beastmen!Mermaids!Giants Demons!Succubus! Not even Dragonoids we're spared! And every single one of them was from the Royal Family.
It was also said that the Female Orcs were his personal favourite. In his words, he said, "I'd like to get crushed by those biceps and big breasts someday before I die"
He even had a harem full of various beasts and one of the first was naturally an orc. An illegitimate half-orc princess to be exact. As the orcs were naturally ugly except for the females who were comparable to average-looking human females, the Hero initially didn't have much interest in them. However, a chance encounter with the surprisingly beautiful and rather gruff Half-Orc princess fighting to the death with her assailants aiming for her death and the possible collaboration made between them, made them kindle a relationship which naturally ended up in a marriage.
However, people didn't find this demeaning as mating with an orc was considered normal as people, rather rarely, married other races, particularly orcs, even if they were ugly. However, it was only applicable to female orcs as the males were outright hideous and cruel.
The 4th Hero also muttered something like "Death from 'Snu-Snu" every time he exited from the bed chambers of his Orc concubine after five days with a face filled with ecstasy which for some reason, most Wizards and Historians of that time predicted to be some sort of Incantations to one of his Secret tombs sprawled around the Kingdom or a secret code. Heck, even to this day, there were several Clergymen, Nobles and Mercenaries; male and female alike, shouting that dreaded incantation in every secret location of the tombs, just to open it and hog the precious treasures of the once mighty hero. But unfortunately, to this day, no one managed to open them.
Adam chuckled upon hearing this goof up the Hero or the possible acquaintance made.
However, this act of mating with other races did bring the Ire of the proud full races as he even mated with Demons, the main enemies of the Humans and Elves alike. But what could be done? However, the Elves did cut off all types of trade and business as soon as the Hero died and sealed off the Mivendell Kingdom, the Capital Of the Great Elven Empire, from the humans.
It was also said that all the members of the Royal family who were children of the Hero, the half Elves, were later killed or exiled.
And that was the reason Hagrid referred to Adam as his kin. He too was a descendant of the branch family of the Hero.
But even if the Hero was a mating God of Pleasure, he didn't mistreat anyone. The common people were happy as peace prevailed during his reign.
However, the church felt a threat to his overwhelming authority over the commons. They felt, bowing and giving into the Hero's demands were disgraceful and like much of an arrogant prick they initially were, they disowned the Hero; announcing that it was the Divine Revelation of the Goddess herself, now that the Saintess was dead.
A new Saintess candidate was also selected from one of the previous Duke's kin who supported the previous Emperor.
A few days later, she was found dead in the Hero's bed chambers; covered in rags which were previously the church robes, blood dripping down her groin. Her face and nether region were also covered in whitish liquid.
The Emperor or Hero was naturally shunned and exiled from the Empire. However, his family was spared and exiled, particularly the proud direct descendants. The lower branches of the family opted to be recruited as servants of the Nobles or to the church, just to save their poor skin. Nevertheless, they did get recruited, but mostly to the lower ranks with no opportunities to reach the heights along with constant shunning and assaults from the authorities and commons alike.
Even his other concubines were exiled and spared as promised to the hero, but the church was cunning enough to commission Assassins and get them killed, framing it as an accident. The church naturally didn't want the Hero's kin to return for revenge and plunge the Empire into another wave of chaos. That's why it was a collective decision by the big shots to erase his bloodline altogether.
And that's why the oh-so-revered and glorious Church of Mellisandra, plotted against him, the Hero. But the Hero had surprisingly sent his most trusted subordinate, which was his favourite wife after the Saintess, the Female orc princess, to save them. And eventually, the Orc princess emerged victorious in the bloody battle as she single-handedly slaughtered the knights of the Church and Assassins, aiming for her Sister's and children's life. Later, she fled the Empire with the entire Harem or rather Family and entered the Forbidden Zone[Exiled Lands], never to be heard from again.
Naturally, the Imperial prince or the new Emperor was also stripped of his position and exiled. However, when he went off to was not known.
It was also said that it was the Hero's plea to spare his family and capture him. So, essentially he sacrificed himself. However, the only ones who were sad about his sacrifice were the Orc princess and her children, the Hero's twin maids and the Imperial Prince. Other than that, the other Harem members were just trying to survive and save their children; nothing more. His bloodline was more important to them than the lecherous Hero himself!
The only person to love him genuinely was the Orc princess and this was a testament to their deep connection. Others were mostly political marriages and the after the death of the Saintess, the only real connection he had was with the Orc.
Heck! It became a disaster as soon as the orc princess heard the news as she was hell-bent on saving her husband from the church after he relinquished his title of the hero and was about to pick up her Great sword and storm inside the Cathedrals Prison doors but, a simple hug that the Hero gave her after she saw him covered in chains, battered and bruised along with the meek whispers in her ears, begging to save his other family members, made her cry hysterically for the first time as she stormed out of the castle with the other Harem members, cursing loudly at the Hero, as crimson blood dripping down her clenched fists.
And even to this day, the scene was etched into the minds of the old and young as a Saga of True love. And it was probably the only good thing the hero was revered for to this day.
As a love icon for the youth. Despite him being called lecherous or the timeline being 400 years in the future.
Anyway, the Hero, nevertheless, did try to substantiate that he was innocent in the Cathedral's grand prosecution, however, the common populace was agitated.
They feared him now. The once revered Hero was now found guilty and was flouted for his immoral deeds.
"Lecherous Hero!" They cried.
Eventually, when he realised that the people now shunned him and their once lovable eyes were looking at him with contempt and rejection. He realised that he was not needed anymore.
So, he decided to give in to the ritual called the "Stride of Shame".He decided to punish himself by death and let the church arrest him, acknowledging his disgraceful felony even though he didn't believe he did anything. He was a broken man by this time. He might have killed many, even innocents, but the sounds of curses and stones which were thrown at him, were enough to break him. Even the death of his wife, the saintess was not as dreadful for him as the view of agitated people who he ruled over, losing faith in him.
He realised he was proud! Arrogant perhaps. And he liked seeing people worshipping him and praising him. But on that day, he realised human nature in its full glory but more than that, he realised how imperfect and bad of a person he, himself was. He was holding on to something he knew was a lie. That is... pride.
And just when it was crushed and broken, he broke down. More like he lost respect for himself.
So he gave In to that shameful ritual. And apparently, it was a ritual used for punishing R*pists to get killed by the civilians themselves.
The said R*pist was Hanged naked on a low levelled spire where the normal civilians threw stones, bricks, cow dung, spit and just anything they felt like throwing. He would be left with no food and will only be allowed to drink 10 drops of muddy water, just to undergo enough suffering, long enough before his inevitable demise.
One could see a naked man hanged by a rope, his hands tied behind the two spires beside him; his held down. If one could get close, one could see that his face was full of contempt and regret. His eyes were muddy; his body which was once an epitome of strength was reduced to mere bones due to the magical cuffs put on his neck which restricted Mana's flow inside the body and prevented it from healing.
Curses, stones and whatnot were thrown at his body. Children despised him, the old snorted every time they looked at his face, and the adults kicked his groin every time they went by his way. The women were particularly hysterical and some even wanted to cut off his genitalia.
However, the man just continuously murmured," I'm s-s-sorry-y.".His head held down.
And just like that, numerous days went by as the man stood calmly on the spire undergoing the barrage of contempt and aggression thrown at him for r@ping the Saintess, that too a minor of 13 years old.
No one saved him. Not even his family members.
And to be frank, they couldn't. The entire Empire was in lockdown and was being patrolled by the finest Holy Knights, stationed at every gate and checkpoint leading inside. Heck, there were two Archmages affiliated with the Church stationed just beside the Chained Hero.
So all in all, going near the Empire itself was suicide much less near the Hero.
And on the 40th day of staying tied to the spire, a demon vulture finally landed next to his unmoving, lanky body and tore off a limb, flying far away.
Blood dripped down the torn-off flesh and along with it, teardrops flowed down instantaneously from the man's eyes as a reflex action of his long-lifeless body. The weather changed as thunderstorms assaulted the entire Empire as if the world was weeping as well. The world became dark and gloomy. And that was when the people knew that...
The once-hailed Hero Emperor, Died.

Sigh!
Adam sighed yet again as he processed the entire life history of his supposed acquaintance, or to be exact, a friend.
The only friend he had in his previous life.
