Zamora P.O.V
Amber shows me around the castle then finally takes me to the First Prince's room
She sighs
"You just got here and you're already given the toughest job in the whole kingdom,cleaning the first prince's room"
"Well this is a piece of advice from me,Of all the things the prince detest hair,clean every nook and cranny of his room,not even a single strand of hair"
"Yes I'll do just that" I bowed
"Don't bow to me,you're not meant to bow to anybody not close to a royalty or noble"she panics
Who made all these stupid rules
I opened the door to his room,to my surprise the room was already neat compared to what I imagined,without a single speck of dust
"What am I meant to clean up here?"
Well I swept the floor, dusted his bed and changed the bedsheets,fluffed his pillows
And trust me I've never seen so many pillows in just one bed,there's probably about ten of them,the first prince might be fragile and little.
For the final touch,I should mop the floor
"But where could the mop be?", I should probably check the bathroom
Opening the door to the bathroom to see this naked man with a small white towel wrapped around his waist,with water droplets fixated on his skin,his wet dark hair
"Argh!!" I shut my eyes
"Get out" he said in a cold tone, even with my eyes closed,I could feel his piercing gaze
I was too shocked to move,he slowly walks over as I heard his footsteps
I felt his cold wet hands on my bare skin, as he held unto my arm slightly,
"Don't you understand the word 'Get Out' " his grasp tightens
I slowly opened my eyes to see his face right in front of mine
His dark brown eyes drew me in that I couldn't break free—
"I said Get Out!!" he yells
Snapping me back to reality
"Yes" I bowed my head as I walked out of his room in a fast pace.
"I just started today and I'm going to lose this job"
I ran back to the royal kitchen.
"Ohh Amora,you're back so early,did you clean the first prince room neatly?" Ma Gwen asked
"Ermm.. yes I did"
"We don't have much time, Prince Cyrus and Prince Travis would be arriving soon, we have to prepare for their arrival" Ma Gwen says
"Girls, this is our newest member Amora" she introduces me
"Nice to meet you, I'll be very grateful if you treat me well" I hope I didn't sound desperate
"If you have any questions ask them" she hands me a brown dress
"This is your maid uniform,go over there and change" she points at a door
"Yes Ma Gwen "
I went through the door and got changed,it fits me perfectly.
I came out and everyone seems really busy,preparing foods for Prince Cyrus and Prince Travis
A maid approaches me
"I hate the way you smile,making it seem our work looks so easy,well since you got this job through the back door,you don't even know what it takes to be a royal maid"she and her friends laugh
Amber drags me away
"Don't listen to them,they just hate the fact you became a royal maid so easily."
For some reason my heart isn't drawn towards Amber,even with the way she smiles at me and act,it all seems like a friendly facade..
"Yes,I won't let their words get to me" i smiled at her
"Amora!" Ma Gwen calls my name from the kitchen passage way
"Yes Ma Gwen " I answered
"The first Prince summons you,head over to his room right now"
"Huh..right now"
I felt chills down my spine
"Yes right now,hurry" she walks back into the kitchen
