Chapter 4 - A Familiar-Looking Cousin

On the other side, Su Yu was dragging her luggage with one hand and making a call with her mobile phone in the other. A voice of complaint came from the other end of the phone.

"F*ck! Did the Su family really kick you out?

"They're really disgusting. In the past, they needed you to extend Su Man's life, brainwashing you with all sorts of morals to kidnap you.

"Now that they no longer need you, they're using all sorts of excuses to kick you out! They're not human!

"If you knew this would happen, you wouldn't have bothered to treat Suman.

The Su family doesn't know sh*t. If it wasn't for your help, that short-lived b*tch Su Man wouldn't have lived past twenty.

"They can't be thinking that hemophilia is just a common cold, and they can cure it just like that, right?"

Su Yu saw a man walking toward her from not far away. She lowered her head slightly and calmly said, "No matter what, the Su family raised me and cured Su Man's illness. I don't owe them anything anymore."

The person on the other end of the phone gritted his teeth and hatefully said, "So what? Now you're event? Don't you know how much you've helped the Su family in secret all these years?

"If it wasn't for you, how could Su Weiguo expand his company from Feng City to Yucheng? With that stupid brain of his?

"And that sister of yours, you've helped her with her homework in the past, arranging her songs and letting her win all the awards. The Su family has received so much help from you both openly and secretly. They've taken advantage of you.

"I've always thought that they were biased. Who knew that they weren't even related to you by blood? From the looks of it, they're really shameless!

"They knew everything, but they didn't feel guilty at all for using you. Their skin is thicker than the walls of Prague Castle!"

Su Yu hummed in agreement as the corners of her mouth curled up. Then, she teasingly asked, "Wow, have you been working on your studies to even know about the thickness of Prague Castle's walls?"

"I had always known about that!"

When Su Yu noticed Bai Ziteng getting closer, she lowered her voice and said, "I still have something to do here, so I'll talk to you later. Bye."

The person on the other end of the phone was anxious and quickly asked, "Where are you staying tonight? Do you want me to pick you up in Feng City?"

"No need, my family has already come to pick me up," said Su Yu in response.

"You're not really going to look for your biological parents, are you?" asked the person on the other end of the phone doubtfully.

Su Yu's eyes were calm when she said, "I should at least know how I came to this world, right?"

The other end of the phone was silent for a while.

Su Yu knew what the person was thinking and quickly said, "I won't say anymore, I'm hanging up."

By the time Bai Ziteng walked over, Su Yu had already put her phone into her pocket.

Beautiful things and people would always get better treatment. Bai Ziteng took the initiative to take Su Yu's luggage with a smile and said, "You're Yu, right? I'm your older cousin, Bai Ziteng. You can just call me Second Brother."

Su Yu looked at him and noticed that Bai Ziteng was very tall and had an outstanding appearance. He had a pair of smiling almond-shaped eyes that were long and narrow. It seemed that he was born with a natural sense of intimacy. A strand of hair on his forehead had been dyed bright pink. The entire combination of his appearance made him look both noble and frivolous. The more she looked at him, the more she felt that she had seen him somewhere before.

Su Yu was a little face-blind and she could not remember people who were not particularly important. Despite thinking for a while, she still could not remember where she had seen this face.

"Hello, Second Brother. I am Su Yu." Su Yu gave a simple greeting. She looked polite and well-behaved, at least in Bai Ziteng's eyes.

"Grandpa's legs aren't too good, so he can't take the plane. That's why he sent me here to bring you home.

"He's taking the train, so he'll be here later,"

Your father and my parents are here as well. They should be at Yuxiang Tower by now. We'll just go there directly."

As Bai Ziteng spoke, he reached out to take the backpack from Su Yu's shoulder.

"By the way, Xiao Yu, there's another person in the car. He's my friend and he'll be eating with us. You don't mind, right?"

Su Yu dodged his hand without saying a word and maintained a distance of about one step from him. Then, she said, "I don't."

Bai Ziteng stared at his empty hand in a daze. He then looked at his weak little cousin in confusion. How did she manage to dodge? Why didn't he see it? Perhaps it was an accident. He didn't think much about it and walked to the car with the suitcase. He even opened the back door for her and said, "Get in the car quickly. It's too hot outside."
