After the Isha prayer, when Muhammad ibn al-Qasim was entering his lodging, Yazid bin Abu Kabsha called out.
Khalid, Zubair and Bheem Singh were coming with Abu Kabsha, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim stopped at the door and started looking at them.
I entered.
A torch was burning in the room.
Ali was sleeping on the chair. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim pointed to Yazid sitting on a chair and said.
This boy is very much in love with me.
He was also imprisoned in Brahmanabad, Yazid said with a smile,
"Who in this land is not in love with you"
Mohammad ibn al-Qasim sat on the chair and said with the intention of changing the subject,
I wanted to tell you all the situation in Sindh before leaving.
Yazid said,
"I came to ask you about the situation in Sindh."
I have come to tell you that you will not stay.
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied.
Thank you for your sympathy!
But I obey the order of Amir-ul-Momineen.
"But don't you know that Sulaiman is thirsty for your blood?"
"I know, but I don't want the world of Islam to be divided into two parts for a few drops of my blood?"
You are more far-sighted than I expected at this age, but I am sure that if I myself go and tell Sulaiman that more than a hundred thousand soldiers in Sind will shed their last drop of blood for you, he will turn against you. Certainly will not declare war.
But the inevitable result of this will be that I and a large group of Muslims with me will be cut off from the center and we will become a collective in this world.
Will lose the reward of struggle. I don't think it is necessary to explain to you that decentralization sinks the great powers of the world.
Yazid said that before the prayer, a delegation of dignitaries from Arur came to me and they used to say that our god should not hide from us!
If Sulaiman misbehaves with you, he will enrage all India against him.
Do not worry about this!
I will understand them.
Yazid considered Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's decision to be irrevocable and remained silent.
After that, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim told all the conditions of Sindh and with the inhabitants of this country.
He urged them to be tolerant and to follow the instructions of Nasiruddin chief of Dabil and Bheem Singh in difficult times.
Yazid got up and said,
want to tell you only one more thing and that is that you should not resist being arrested by wearing shackles from here in compliance with the order of the Muslim.
This will hurt the hearts of thousands of people and may even enrage people.
If you consider it expedient, I will not object. Otherwise, I would have felt proud while wearing the shackles of Obedience Amir.
Yazid said shaking hands.
" I want to ask one more question, who is your best friend among the Arab rulers?"
I have all friends, but the person who knows every moment of my life is Zubair, he will always be with you! No, I want to send him immediately to Madinah for an urgent task?"
"He will obey your every command?"
I want to send him away before you leave, you send him to my room?
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim woke up Ali and said leave him in his room and send Zubair to him!
"Leaving Yazid in his room, Ali went to call Zubair and Yazid sat before the light of the torch and got busy writing a letter. After a while, Zubair entered. Yazid asked him to sit with a gesture of his hand. After sitting for a long time and finishing the letter, Yazid turned towards him. Get ready for a long journey.
Read this letter!
Yazid gave the letter to Zubair.
Zubair read the letter and a light of hope began to shine on his withered face.
This letter of Yazid was addressed to Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz, (May God bless him and grant him peace), in which he appealed to Umar bin Abdul Aziz, (May God bless him and grant him peace), to save him from the vengeance of Sulaiman, after proving Muhammad ibn al-Qasim as the greatest commander of the world of Islam.
Do your best.
The last words of Yazid's letter were:
A person like Muhammad ibn al-Qasim is not born again and again.
I have seen great men in my life, but I cannot properly estimate the greatness of this young man, who conquered Sind at the age of seventeen and now gladly obeys the Amir in the presence of one hundred and twelve thousand of his men. Ready to wear shackles. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim in the body of Islam, there is a heart whose every beat is more valuable than the recitation of Arabic by people like me.
You can save the world of Islam from an irreparable loss.
" After reading the letter, Zubair looked at Yazid and asked, "Do you believe that he will be able to influence Sulaiman?"
I am sure.
You go, they are currently in Medina but on the way
Don't waste a moment.
Suleiman's adviser, he has a grudge against Muhammad ibn al-Qasim only because he is the son-in-law of Hajjaj ibn Yusuf.
However, we will try to make a decision about it immediately. Sulaiman himself would consider it dangerous to keep such an influential man alive for long.
If Umar bin Abdul Aziz is not in Madinah, then you should reach wherever you are and try to get him to Damascus before the fate of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim is decided.
To me this campaign is more important than the victory of all India.
Zubair got up and said,
"I am going now".
"Go! May God help you?"
Zubair ran out of Yazid's room and reached his room. Naheed Khalid and Zahra were waiting for him. Everyone said in one voice, what news!
"I am going to Medina"
Zubair just said this and went to the back room to change his clothes.
After a while he changed his clothes and came out. Naheed took down the sword and handed it to him without asking any question.
Khalid got up and said,
"I will also go with you".
Zubair tied the sword to his waist and said,
"No, you take Naheed and Zahra to reach Basra with Muhammad ibn al-Qasim," said Zahra.
Brother!
What is your business in Madinah?
Zubair replied,
"I take Yazid's letter to a man who can save Muhammad."
Khalid, you reached Basra and went directly to Muhammad ibn al-Qasim.
Go home and comfort Zubaydah.
I hope to get there very soon.
Naheed God bye!
Zahra!
Praying for my success.
Zubair said this and left the room.
On the way was the room of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim.
There was a torch inside.
He stopped at the door and peered inside and then went inside thinking something. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim was sleeping soundly, the smile of an innocent child,
which Zubair had often seen on his lips while he was asleep, was still playing on his lips today.
On the wall at the head was hanging the sword with which the young and young salar had subdued the strong forts of Sindh and the hearts of the people of Sindh.
Zubair's heart beat under an unknown emotion.
Tears came to his eyes and he said softly in a trembling voice and went out.
My bro !
My friend!
My master!
Goodbye !
While leaving the palace, Zubair was consoling his broken heart by repeatedly saying "No!No !"
We will definitely meet again.
