Seeing that the fort was too tight for the needs of all the army, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim pitched tents outside the fort. Like the wounded of his own army, he accommodated the wounded soldiers of Bheem Singh's army in tents and ordered the doctors and surgeons of his army not to neglect to treat the wounded of the enemy's army. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim himself had a special knowledge of surgery and medicine. He used to take Saad as his interpreter to discuss with the wounded of the enemy. Seeing them sad and sad, he used to say that you will get better very soon.
Do not think that you are in our prison. After you get well, you can go wherever you want.
He looked at him with benevolent eyes and said,
"For God's sake, don't embarrass us, we have no right to hurt you so much, you should rest?"
He replied, "No!" it is my duty "
Bheem Singh was deeply interested in Muhammad ibn al-Qasim. Both times he would see his wounds himself and bandage them with his own hands. Nasiruddin and Zubair tried to appease him in every possible way. Then he began to feel that Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and his companions were different from ordinary people by nature. His injuries were not serious, but his body was congested due to a lot of bleeding.
He was able to walk on the fourth day, thanks to the treatment of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and the care of Zubair and Nasiruddin. On the fifth day, after the usual Isha prayer, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim along with Saad went round the tents of the wounded and entered Bheem Singh's tent.
He was lying on his bed muttering in a dream, no no! Don't send me to his competition again! He is a god not a man.
Release the prisoners. He will forgive your sins.
No! No . I won't go. Why did the people get the punishment for the king's sin?
I am not afraid of death, but by taking my life you cannot avoid the coming trouble. A cruel coward, uff....
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim started looking towards him. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said, "It appears that you were having a terrible dream."
Bheem Singh shivered and opened his eyes and to his surprise Saad and Bheem Singh fell into thought. The drops of sweat on his forehead showed that he was suffering from severe mental agitation in his dream state.
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim went forward and said, keeping his hand on his pulse. Your health is perfectly fine. There is no pain in the wound?
He replied with a usual smile on his lips.
"no."
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said, "My army is going to march from here tomorrow morning." I am sorry that some expedients do not allow me to stay here for a long time. Otherwise, I would have taken care of you for a few more days.
In any case, I am leaving five hundred soldiers in this fort. They will take care of you. The wounded of your army who have recovered will be allowed to go to their homes tomorrow. Stay here until you are not able to ride a horse?
Bheem Singh said, "You mean that you will release all the prisoners?"
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied that our aim is not to make people prisoners, but we want to free them from a tyrannical government and acquaint them with such a system.
The basic principle of which is equality. Your soldiers.
We thought that the foreign invaders had come against us, but they did not know that our war was not in the name of the country, not in the name of the nation. We do not want Arab supremacy over Sindh. We want a global revolution for the betterment of all human beings on earth. A revolution that wants to take away the tyrant's stick to keep the oppressed's head high is not our war of kings and emperors. There is a war between humans and kings. Our aim is not to remove the crown of the king of Sindh and put it on our head. We want to prove that someone
Being the owner of the throne, he has no right to impose his law on the world.
Crowns are the carved idols of selfish men and the law which is made only to maintain the greatness of these idols, always divides men into two parties. One oppressed, the other oppressed. You use the words king and people for these parties. The King (Raja) of Sindh robbed our ships and made prisoners of women and children because he, being the owner of the throne, considers it his right to oppress every human being, and now he will fight us to get rid of the sword of oppression. There is danger and these soldiers have come against us because they get paid for aiding and abetting cruelty. The same work has been taken from these poor people that humans take from riding animals.
It was forced. Due to a despotic system, their means of life were narrow and they were ready to sell their lives to support oppression for a small fee. They did not know that I want to be an obstacle in the way of the revolution, it is for their betterment. They were scared by us. Now after the victory, I do not want to be a tyrant myself, nor do I want to make them oppressors?" Bheem Singh said,
"So you are sure that these people will not go back and join the(Raja)'s forces again?"
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied, I cannot say with certainty what their conduct would be on their return, but I have no fear of these people. I trust in God's mercy. The strength of those who fight for a higher cause increases, not decreases. Many nations have fought with us before in support of their kings, but when they realized that we had a better system, they joined us. Those among your soldiers whom God has given the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. They certainly do not go back and try to save the ship of oppression from sinking and those who dare to come against us again.
They will be satisfied after one or two more battles that our sword is not going to be blunted?
Bheem Singh said,
"You are an enemy of the throne and you do not believe in the rule of man over man, but how can there be peace in the country unless there is a government?
" Muhammad bin Qasim replied, if the tyranny is oppressed. If he doesn't let the voice of escape from his throat, it doesn't mean that peace has been established in the country."
Bheem Singh replied, "No matter what the law is, there will always be a human being who enforces it, and even if he is not called a king or a king, he will certainly be a ruler and as long as there are rebellious people in the world." Protection of such a law is not possible without the rod of power?" said Muhammad ibn al-Qasim.This is true, but the first demand of this law is that the party implementing it should be a party of righteous people. As long as we belonging to the congregation of the righteous, God will take the task of protecting His law from us
Tomorrow, if someone from your country becomes a group of righteous people.
So he will take over the responsibility of breaking this law, but he will be allowed to use the stick of power not to protect his power, but to protect this law.
The difference between Muslim nobles and the kings of other nations is that they use the rod of power to help the oppressed against the oppressor and the kings use it only for their eternal domination. Bheem Singh asked the question after thinking for a while. So will I also be allowed to go back with these people?
I may have already said that you can go whenever you want after you get well.
Bheem Singh said I am able to travel. If you allow, I will leave tomorrow!
Even your wounds are not healed, but if you want to go tomorrow, I will not stop you.
Bheem Singh may have said after thinking for a while but you may know. I am the son of the commander of Sindh and it may be dangerous for you to go back and join the army. Therefore, if you want to take a promise from me before leaving me that I will not come to your competition again, then I am not ready to go on this condition!
I did not ask you to make such a promise. Yes !
I will tell you only one thing, you convey my message to King (Raja)Dahir that now Arur is not far from us.
If he treated the Arab prisoners badly, it would not be good for him. Bheem Singh replied.
I promise and I hope he will surely be impressed when he learns of your treatment of my wounded soldiers.
I don't want reward for good deeds. I just want this. I just want you to remove the blind fold of pride from his eyes and also tell him that he is standing on the edge of a volcanic mountain. During the conversation, I may have said something bitter. If you have been hurt by something, forgive me as a human being!
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim came out of the tent saying this, Bheem Singh was saying this in his heart again and again. You are God not human
