At three o'clock in the night, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim was praying with his hands raised in the Jamia Masjid of Damascus.
Lord of the worlds! A heavy burden has been placed on my thin shoulders, help me to fulfill this responsibility!
And grant those who supported me the determination and independence of their settled ancestors, and let not my eyes be ashamed in front of the congregation of God's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the Day of Judgment.
Give me the determination of Khalid and the faith of Mushani! May every moment of my life be dedicated to the exaltation of your religion"
At the end of this prayer, apart from Zubair, another person who was sitting on the right hand of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said.
Amen!,
They both looked at him.
Her simple dress and light appearance had an unusual appeal.
He slipped and sat near Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and looking at him with love and affection said,
Are you Muhammad ibn al-Qasim?"
"Yes! And you? "
I am Umar ibn Abdul Aziz.
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim had heard a lot about the greatness and purity of Umar ibn Abdul Aziz. He said looking with devotional eyes.
Will you pray for me?
Hazrat Umar ibn Abdul Aziz (may God bless him and grant him peace) said,
"May God fulfill your good intentions?" Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said,
"For a while I had the intention."
I consider your meeting today unacceptable. Give me some advice!"
Umar ibn Abdul Aziz said,
"I just want to tell you that under the leadership of a brave and brave commander like you, the campaign of the sword against the enemy will end soon, God willing, but if you carry the right spirit of Jihad(war) in Sindh."
If so, you will not have to prove there by your conduct and behavior that you have not come to enslave the people of Sindh, but to free them from the shackles of the false system and show them the way to security. You have to tell them that every person who steps into the circle of monotheism can be freed from the slavery of the world. You are going to a country where the lower castes recognize the birthright of upper caste oppression.
After the roots of the authoritarian system of Sindh are cut, if you can present the correct map of Islamic equality before the people, then I am sure that you will be able to win over their hearts as well, those who are your enemies today will become your friends tomorrow. Hearing the story of the brutality of the ruler of Sindh on the Muslim widows and orphans, some of the youths are ready to join you only in the spirit of revenge, but do not allow any of them to strike a fallen enemy. does not like take the sword from the oppressor's hand, but do not oppress him!
Rather, if he repents, forgive his mistake!
If he is willing to accept the divine religion, then hit him on the chest!
If he recovers from wounds and seeks refuge with you, you should put ointment on his wounds!
Our orphans and widows have been wronged, but you put the hand of compassion on the heads of their orphans and widows!
And remember that God does not want the political supremacy of the Arab nation over the neighboring countries, but he wants the victory of his religion over disbelief and if this work is accomplished by the Arabs, they will prosper in this world and their hereafter will be good. Will be ?
Umar ibn Abdul Aziz finished his speech after hearing the call to morning prayer.
After the prayer, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said while leaving them, It will take me five more days to leave here.
During this time I will consider myself more fortunate to benefit from your knowledge and grace, but I will not have to spend most of the day training new soldiers.
If you don't mind, may I come to your service sometime during the night?"
Umar ibn Abdul Aziz replied,
"You can come to me whenever you want. Especially at this time you will find me here every day. After eight or ten days I will also go to Medina. "
Muhammad ibn al-Qasim left the mosque after leaving Hazrat Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, and a large group of young people followed him. When he reached the steps of door, he addressed them and said, "All of you should reach the field, I will also reach in a little while."
