Synopsis
Kay came out of the store, dusting her hands and praising herself for a job well done. She donned her black sunglasses and wore her hoodie to prevent people from seeing her face. She checked her wristwatch. It was ten to twelve. She sighed. She was running late and she had to hurry. She bent her head and began walking and then, suddenly bumped into someone. " What the ...", She yelled as she raised her head to meet the gaze of her classmate, Richard. She panicked and began to pick his stuff, just as when she gave him his things and was about to leave, she noticed he blocked her way with his hand. " You look familiar",he said, brows knotted down as if he was trying to remember where he saw her. " I don't think so ",she said, her aura domineering the scene as she left quickly. Her identity cannot be revealed. At least not now.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

It as already five past twelve and no sign of Queen. Her grandmother stood at the balcony of the family house, which from there, the compound and streets could be seen. She wore her glasses and began to scan the environment, for any sign of Queen but none was forthcoming.

She took out her phone and was about calling her when she heard the horn of a car and the gates opening. She saw the driver and someone seated at the back seat wearing a dark sunshade. She felt that aura.

It was Dan!

The bastard who went against the family principles and betrayed the household of Kan, his household. She waited patiently, not giving the newcomer any sign of attention and called Queen. She picked up at the third ring.

" Queen?"

" Grannie, I would be there soon. There was an hold up on the road. Give me five minutes. I'll be there in a jiffy ".

" I'll be expecting you soon ".

She ended the call and went into her bedroom to change her dress. Afterwards, she walked down the massive stairs to the living room and was greeted by the entire household, including Dan, excluding Queen.

They were so engrossed in the commotion of the scene that Dan had created by showing up. They were all on their feet, dressed up as if they were going for a fashion show and Jim, Queen's father was questioning him.

" Dan What are you doing here?", he asked angrily.

" Hey! Hold on big bro. It has been long we've seen each other and I really miss you. Now that I have come, could you please grant me the happiness of seeing your long lost brother and not the unruly attitude you're putting up with. I'll get heartbroken if you keep doing so " , Dan teased Jim, devilishly, with a smirk on his face.

Jim looked at his brother. He hadn't changed a bit. His jet black hair was still as stylish as ever and his aura and elegance was the same as he could remember. He looked at Dan as memories of their young age flashed back. Yes, he really missed his brother so much. But the person standing in front of him wasn't his brother. His younger brother was long gone and an imposter representing him. This was not the brother he had. The brother he had had been lost in a stray place and now a demon controlling him. To the extent of breaking the family principles of fashion design and went into the military. He was then kicked out of the family.

Recovering from his trance, he asked Dan again, "Dan I won't waste much time on you. What are you doing here?"

"Jeez! I guess my big brother has grown up so much than I thought. I thought I still have a place in your heart but I was wrong", he hit his chest and smiled bitterly, replacing the smile to a smirk.

" I'm just here for a family reunion. And I won't leave till I get one", he turned from his brother and sat down, legs crossed, hands on pillows and his back resting on the couch.

" Stop faking it. Everyone present knows you are lying".

" I think you are right", he said as he stood up and walked past his brother to the photo frame of his father as his hands touched the man's image. He retreated his hands and stepped a little bit further away from the photo as if he wasn't worthy of standing in front of it before continuing. " I came to see father and..." he looked at his brother in the eye, all playfulness gone, his aura dominating the scene as his eyes interpreted determination, his deep, husky voice echoing the silence.

" I came to see Queen".

" And that won't be possible".

The eye contact broke and was drifted to the person who said that. Fully knowing that it was her, his seriousness left him and his playful himself was back again.

" Mother so good to see you ", he said as he walked towards her and kissed the back of her right hand that wasn't holding onto the walking stick, a good sign of a gentleman he was portraying to be.

What his mother did next didn't surprise him. She retreated her hand just as when his kiss landed on it. He flashed a smirk again before straightening to look at his mother dejectedly, as though he was rejected candy by his mother.

" Wow! Mother also have the same attitude towards me. Who else got the same attitude so I won't be surprised any longer as I get rejected by the people I call family".

He watched as his mother's face turn soar angrily as he mentioned the name ' family '. He flashed another smirk in his mind, while focusing on her.

" Everyone's got the same attitude since you've broken our trust. And who do you call family? You have no family. At least, this is not your family. Your military friends should be the one you call family not us. You are no longer a Kan! You are not needed here".

" It's so heartbreaking seeing my mother reject me and tell tell me tell me I am not needed as a Kan like I am a stray dog or something", he said and so did his usual smirk was back." But that doesn't mean you can throw me out of this place, can you? I mean can any of you do such?", he asked, brows lighted up as if he was trying to challenge them all. He glanced at the massive doors and sighted Queen entering. He left his mother's view to welcome the young lady.

" And this is the lady we've all been waiting for".

He walked to her, the smirk gone and it was replaced with a gentle smile as he approached her. He stopped when he heard his mother saying;

" You may have been allowed into this house but you aren't allowed to behave like you belong to the family ".

" I never said I belong to the family. I just came to see those I am involved with ", he said but his gaze never left Queen and that smile never left his lips.
