Chapter 3 - Do What I Say

Alfonzo had always been handsome, but in a tuxedo, its darkness only accentuated his good looks. His tall, broad-shouldered, slender-hipped figure fills the outfit so well, that he's devastating. His slightly messy hair was shorter than usual but still thick and shiny, and the front still seemed to defy his will to make it sit perfectly.

Recalling the countless times when she was young made her want to reach out and touch it, realizing she even wanted to touch him, suddenly shocked her. A shudder of consciousness passed her, she looked down in confusion, she stepped back as he walked towards her, and he shoved a pair of glasses into her trembling hands.

"If I remember correctly, this is what you used to drink." Jaya didn't speak, she nodded silently, surprised that he remembered such a little detail of her. He raised his glass, took a sip of the clear liquid, and stared at her without blinking, those cold eyes that absorbed everything from her—his predatory look, the thought made her tremble again.

She drank silently and carefully placed it on the table beside him, seeing the humor in his eyes for the first time, enjoying the discomfort she knew. He put the wine next to her and walked around her, his eyes widening up and down her body, and Jaya felt his cheeks heat from his rude scrutiny.

"So little hampster... grown up," stopped in front of her. "How did you grow up?" The innuendo in his voice was so clear that Jaya felt the tingling anger giving her the strength to stand taller. She cursed Jara for making her wear that cocktail dress she would never choose. The fabric wrapped around her and her chest sank, revealing her cleavage, her breasts gathered in the underwear her sister had chosen for her work hard not to slip.

Covering herself with her hands, she glared at him. "Don't play with me, Alfonzo. I'm here to talk to the CEO. I didn't expect it to be you." Her voice was full of the disappointment and desperation she felt. "You changed your name," she said with a reproachful tone, and he smiled slightly. "I took my father's name," he explained, leaning against the table,

Jaya didn't realize it, and she breathed a sigh of relief even if the distance between them was a little longer. "He made me feel worth it." There was incomprehensible anger in his voice. After another sip of wine, he looked at her, his eyes passing over her wonderful figure again.

"So, how on earth are you going to get the CEO of Pearl X to stop sending your twin to prison?" The question made her cheeks flinch again, and he stood up again, stroking his fingers gently over her bare arms "Because how can you be sure I won't accept the same persuasion?"

Panting with anger, she took a step back quickly, her heels were on the skirt, and she lost her balance, and his hand reached her shoulders to prevent her from falling. When she regained her balance again, he continued to hug her, his thumb lightly stroking the soft skin, and Jaya's mouth suddenly became dry. He stood, towering over her, his eyes falling on her cleavage. Trying to draw her arms from him, she felt the heat of panic rise from her stomach.

"Thanks. I'm fine." She tried to pull her arm out of his embrace, and Alfonso's fingers just poked harder into her soft flesh, his face lit up with an embarrassed smile. "Yes...I'm probably interested in that persuasion," he murmured. She let out a loud gasp as he pulled her hard against him. Jaya just barely put her arm between them, her fingers feeling the hardness of his chest, praying he wouldn't feel her heart beating wildly inside.

"Stop it," she hissed at him, her voice shaking with fear, the fear of her reaction to being so close to him rising in her. She felt his head drooping down his nose and mouth, following the long, bare curve of her neck. Jaya once again wished she hadn't been persuaded to keep her long blond hair high on her head, longing for its protection, as the shiver made her tremble and the little pulse in her throat beat alarmingly.

His light laugh on her skin only made the trembling worse, and she stared helplessly at the ceiling, her hands trying to push herself away from him, and despair began. Then just as he grabbed her, she was pushed away by him. He stepped back again, leaning casually against the table.

His eyes looked at the reaction of the woman in front of him, and the corners of his handsome mouth evoked a satisfied smile. "Still that old Jaya Cabrera huh, callous witch. Every bit of her is a daddy's girl."

Jaya struggled to stop the hot tears from spilling from behind her eyelids. She is nothing like her father. Her whole life, he has been constantly disappointed. To him, she is not as beautiful as Jara, nor as sociable. She didn't get all the right boys to come to their door to propose.

Her determination not to give up her college dream to work in a company was a decision her father scoffed at, and it was no secret that he laughed at her. She was compared to the hateful man she grew up hurt by, but she lowered her eyes and tried to hide her pain from the man in front of her. Needing more control, she finally made her eyes more severe, regained control of her emotions, and looked up at him.

"Thank you." She gritted her teeth, her tone was full of challenges, and there was a flash of danger in his eyes. She knew instinctively that he meant to walk back as soon as the walkie-talkie rang, and the voice on the other end stopped him. "The Ambassador is leaving." She saw his eyes fly from her to the walkie-talkie, frowning, he cursed in a low voice, and then his stern look fell on her again, his tone harsh and arrogant. "I have something to deal with. Wait for me."

He stood up and walked towards the door, and Jaya turned sharply, anger flashing in her eyes. "I'm not your random puppy. You've made me wait here for an hour. It seems pointless that I'm here waiting for you to enjoy humiliating me. Alfonzo stopped in front of the door and slowly turned to face her.

There was no humor in his voice, and he replied coldly: "You don't know what Miss Cabrera's real humiliation is. You've been spoiled your whole life, but if you don't want your sister to be in prison, by tomorrow night, locked in a cell, then do as I say... "Is it clear? Wait for me here!"
