"Thank you so much for today Scott, I really appreciate everything and as promised, I'll forward your payment into any account of your choice," Olivia said, back to wearing her usual nonchalant look.
The skin between Scott's brows creased immediately. Just earlier, she was a completely different person with the happy smile and the friendly tone and now, she had quickly switched back to being the rude and completely cold Olivia.
"Since we're done here, you may leave now," she added, immediately turning her back to head up to her room.
Scott shook his head in disbelief. He could see how rude she sounded.
"Is this how you treat people even after they help you?" he questioned, not hiding his irritation.
Olivia immediately turned around to look at him, wearing a confused look on her face. The last thing she was expecting was to hear him talk back at her and she did not like it one bit.
"Help me? Are you fucking joking with me? How dare you talk like you're actually doing it for free? We agreed that I'd fucking pay you to act and now that it's over, you can fucking take your leave and expect your money. I really have no time for this Scott, so get out now," she said, visibly pissed.
"You really are as rude as they say you are Olivia. I'm not asking you to let me stay or anything but the fact that I just helped you means you should at the very least, speak to me in a less condescending manner. It's simple courtesy miss Olivia," Scott replied, disappointed by her but not exactly upset with her.
"Well, take your courtesy and leave me Richardson. You did your part, I thanked you for it and that is all that actually matters to me," Olivia defended and Scott sighed.
"If you're actually gonna need my help in the future, you need to learn to speak to me with respect miss Olivia and stop throwing the fact that you're paying me in my fucking face. I never asked you to pay me in the first place and paying me doesn't automatically give you the right to speak to me like that," Scott hissed, raising his voice a little more than he intended.
"So what now? Are you mad? You don't want the money? Well, screw you darling cause I won't be taking any free favors from you. If you don't want the money, you can go ahead and donate it but I'm paying you regardless," Olivia responded and Scott rolled his eyes.
"Do whatever you want, Miss Olivia. Have a nice day," Scott replied with a tired sigh as he just didn't have it in him to pick a fight with Olivia. He already knew how she was and the last thing he wanted was creating a sore relationship between them so soon.
He turned his back to walk out of the house with Olivia staring down at him with both rage and confusion. She didn't understand how they'd suddenly gone from appreciating each other to being pissed at each other but the last thing she'd do is apologize because as far as she was concerned, Scott had simply forgotten his place.

"Oh my goodness Liv! Why didn't you tell me!" Ciara exclaimed excitedly as soon as she walked into Olivia's office.
Olivia brows raised up slightly in a confused manner.
"Excuse you?" she questioned.
"Also Ciara, when will you learn to inform me before barging into my office? What if I didn't want to see anyone?" she hissed.
Ciara rolled her eyes at Olivia before placing her phone on her desk.
"Shut the fuck up bitch. How dare you be in a fucking relationship and not tell me about it? Why did I have to find out from a fucking news outlet that my darling friend already has a lover? What kind of a friend are you Liv?" Ciara questioned with a furious look on her face.
"Wait, what? What in the world are you talking about? Why would anything concerning me be on the news? That doesn't make any sense," Olivia told her dismissively with a light frown but Ciara could care less as there was nothing new to Olivia's attitude.
"So you are going to act like you don't know what I'm fucking talking about? Haven't you seen the news today?" Ciara questioned.
"No, I obviously haven't Ciara. What's the fuss about the news?" Olivia asked and Ciara gestured towards her phone.
Olivia sighed deeply as she picked Olivia's phone from the table.
"I swear to God Ciara, if this turns out to be one of your dumb shit, I'll...," she trailed off when her eyes met with the headline of the blog.
'Olivia Octavos, CEO of Octavos construction company finally reveals her relationship and her plans to get married'
"What the actual fuck!" she cursed the moment she read what the article had to say about her.
"Where in the world did they even get such ridiculous information from and what this fuck is this about? I have plans to get married? Me? Since when? Are they fucking insane?" she hissed furiously, pacing back and forth impatiently.
She continued to read the article and the nonsense they kept talking about and when she finally found the source of the information, her stomach fell.
"For goodness sakes father, what is wrong with you?" she yelled in anger.
"Why did he even have to say any of this? Just why would he announce marriage without my permission?" she wondered out loud, clenching her fists in frustration.
"So wait, you introduced a man to your father two days ago and I wasn't aware of this? Oh my goodness Liv! By the way, who is this man? I'm even surprised your father didn't add his name to the article. Come on, tell me already Liv," Ciara urged after Olivia had explained the entire situation to her.
"Just shut it Ciara and leave me the fuck alone. There is no man and my father is... Ugh!" she groaned in anger.
"I need air, I can't breathe," she muttered, leaving her office to go to the rooftop of the company to clear her head.

Olivia tapped on her feet angrily with her left hand in her hair, whilst she patiently waited for her father to pick up his damned phone.
She couldn't believe her father had spoken about her relationship publicly without consulting her to the point he even audaciously announced that she was planning on getting married soon.
She had been receiving phone calls all through the day from different people who had kept calling to congratulate her on her nonexistent engagement. She had to endure all of their stupid questions, their uncalled for opinions on her love life and their unwanted advice.
"Thank goodness you answered father," she said, the moment she heard her father's voice on the other side.
"How are you my precious girl?" her father asked in his usual happy tone and she mentally rolled her eyes.
"For goodness sake dad, you need to quit calling me your precious girl. It's embarrassing. Anyways scratch that, that isn't why I called. I actually called to ask why in the world you had to tell people that I am getting married? What made you do something that ridiculous dad?" she questioned.
Her father immediately chuckled, making her clench her fist in anger.
"Come on Olivia, why do you sound so upset? Isn't that why people date in the first place? To get married? I mean, as far as I remember, the reason your mother and I asked to see your boyfriend was because we wanted to see if you chose a capable man worthy of being your husband and you did choose a very worthy man. Also...," her father was saying but Olivia interrupted him.
"Dad! You shouldn't...," she was about to go off but she quickly shuts her up.
"Let me finish speaking Olivia dear. The only reason your mother and I decided not to proceed with the plan of an arranged marriage between yourself and Thomas was because we expect you to marry the man of your choice and we expect that wedding a lot sooner than you think," he told her firmly and Olivia could feel her world slowly spinning.
She wanted to throw up.
"You have got to be kidding me dad. For heaven's sake, Scott and I are not ready to get married and dad, just so you know, not all relationships usually end up in marriage. You can't go public with my relationship without letting me know about it. That was going too far dad and I'm honestly disappointed. You should have at least given both Scott and I a heads up. You might be my dad, but you need to know when and how to do certain things and this was one of the reasons why I didn't tell you and mom about my relationship. This isn't right at all dad and I hope you fix this soon before things blow out of proportion," she said boldly with a hint of irritation laced in her tone.
"If you are dating not to get married then what are you dating Olivia? Don't tell me you're actually dating just for the fun of it?" her father asked sternly, wondering why his daughter sounded so ridiculous right now.
"For goodness sake Olivia, you are twenty nine years old and you are dating for fun? Really? How thoughtless can you be?" he hissed in disgust.
"Father, you do not have to remind me of my age everytime the subject of marriage comes up. Yes, I'm twenty nine and I know you think it's way past the time I'm supposed to get married but as far as I'm concerned dad, I can't just get married without being one hundred and ten percent sure that it's actually the right decision for me to make," she responded defensively.
Her father clicked his tongue in disgust. "You have got to be joking with me Olivia. You think I don't know the daughter I gave birth to Olivia. You think I'm not aware that if it were up to you, you'd probably never know the right time to settle down? This is your biggest problem Olivia! You are so engrossed in your work to the point where nothing else actually matters to you and you know, sometimes I wish I had never allowed you to take this path. Anyways dear, I have said all I have to say to you and my decision is final. You will have to get married as soon as possible or be ready to quit the company permanently. You make your choice." her father warned firmly before hanging up on her.
Olivia's jaw dropped in complete shock.
"Fuck!" shee cursed furiously.
"That old man has got to be kidding me. First it was Thomas and now it's the company? How dare he keep threatening me? Who the fuck does he think he is?" she yelled, throwing her phone angrily on her bed.
"I need to get some air and find a way out of this,"
