Raven for all of her magical might knew intrinsically that Zeus and his host of Olympian force was beyond her control and power... And more importantly beyond the power of even the man she accepted as her future husband when she finally got up the motivation to sit Jake down to tell the man to make an honest woman out of her.
But Raven for all she knew about their current status was not without her means as Jake had told her of the magical people of note upon Earth, and she of course had a trump card.
So, while her lover met Zeus in a long clash of wills that shook the realm and broke the lands of Fae around it, she left the realm to a sealed temple in the middle of nowhere in Romania.
"Tala..." Raven spoke aloud as she broke through the wards of the temple that sealed away and hid it away. "I have come to bargain with you," Raven spoke with dark power radiating from her, and in response within the center of the empty temple a floating mirror had purple fog appear upon it and as Raven approached the magic mirror, the fog cleared to reveal the woman within.
"Tala, a queen of one of the largest Hell planes, a disciple of the great Felix Faust, demoness who has corrupted countless mortal souls and so much more... Sealed away after being fooled by your old master," Raven announced as she walked over to stand in front of the mirror to take in the appearance of the woman cursed to be stuck within the mirror.
"I want the Annihilator," Raven said bluntly.
"And I want to be freed." Tala whispered huskily as it was clear she hadn't had anyone to talk to in the years she had been sealed away Raven snorted as she saw Tala angle her voluptuous body to 'appeal' to Raven and even though she had to admit that Tala was a literal definition of the term Femme Fatale with her long light purple hair, olive skin tone, her voluptuous frame. In Jake's case, he would have seen her blind milky eyes as a sign of weakness and would have treated her softer.
But Raven was well aware that Tala could see well enough, as although Tala wasn't nearly as magically powerful as Dr. Fate or the other greatest Sorcerer that walked through time. But she had an almost unparalleled control over her magic making her one of the best makers of rituals out there.
"I can lead or just tell you where the Annihilator is. I just want you to take my place... You already know that this cursed mirror is so powerful because it's so simple in its curse. Only one person can leave under the invitation of another and that other will take the one within's place eternally." Tala shrugged throwing her purple hair elegantly behind her head.
"I am aware... Swear upon your true name that you will fulfill the deal in leading me to the Annihilator and I will free you." Raven said dryly as she pulled upon her demonic powers and as Tala frowned at Raven's words she smiled hysterically as she realized what Raven was going to do two more sets of eyes grew on Raven's face leaving her with six blood-red demonic eyes but paradoxically, she seemed to lose some of her powers.
"Speak the chant that's engraved upon the mirror's mounting and we can go get your weapon Spawn of Trigon Hahaha!" Tala said laughing as she watched in glee as Raven cheated her mirror's curse.
"Locos commercio cum uno intra speculum ut omnium pulcherrimus fio!" Raven chanted that and basically, it translated to 'I trade places with the one within the mirror to become the fairest of them all!' And thus, as Raven felt her body being pushed into the mirror she shattered her soul ever so slightly so the part of her stirring demonic powers that made up her Trigon core of her soul of being half Azarathian and Demon was pulled out and sealed within the mirror.
Then as Tala was pulled out of the mirror and Raven felt the binding that bound Tala by her very core of existence she turned as she looked into the shadows of the temple. "Hello, Father..." Raven spoke through thinned lips as she watched the shadows thicken and then like eyes opening a matching set of red demonic six eyes appeared upon the shadows that filled the temple with a palpable power of malice.
"You have embraced my power I see... Haha! Sealing that personality within the mirror only means that you throw aside the differing mental personality that controlled it." Trigon spoke and it was less of sounds reaching them and more of hellish bat wings beating and the chilling winds tearing through a pitch-dark forest that graced the two sorceress's ears.
Raven hated her father and especially feared him... But she knew that just like with magic you had to set aside any feelings you had to use certain magics as tools just as she could get by. "Father... I have an offer and deal for you."
Hearing Raven's offer Trigon, the conquering warlord of Realms and destroyer of hope broke into cackling laughter and booming chuckles that made the girl's skin roll and crawl as the pure malice and evil filled the room.
"Oh, my sweet favorite and daughter of mine I see even as you submitted to your man. That you still have that same streak of cruelty and strategy that allowed me to break realms filled with gods even more powerful than myself." Trigon spoke before he leaned down and his sets of crimson eyes were inches away from Raven's own normal eyes.
"I will go along with your plan my little daughter... I get something I have long wanted and in return you get to keep your man." Then Trigon looked over to Tala and before either could react a spear of crimson light lanced out from Trigon's set of eyes and tore through Tala's chest and with a wet splashing noise her heart was pulled out.
"Tala I already conquered your hell plane after you got sealed away, so here Raven. This sorceress can be you and your husband's pet, and this is my dowry to your joining Haha!" Trigon howled with baleful laughter as he tossed the bound with infinite power heart that was speared with black spikes that glowed with purple demonic energy that clearly matched Tala's power.
"You used my true name to bind my heart and power into that heart!" Tala snarled before freezing as Raven's hand clenched around her heart and she vomited blood at Raven's minuscule reflexive squeeze as she caught the heart.
"Yes, you stupid little bint. You didn't even bother to scan the temple with your power before telling my daughter your true name to bind yourself to the promise, so you deserve to be made a slave." Trigon said bluntly before he looked at his daughter and a true smile of pride came across his face that formed in the darkness. "Make me proud daughter and become a queen worthy of ruling the universe," Trigon whispered as he sunk into the shadows and disappeared.
