Sitting at her desk at her lone house in a lonely valley Vy is once again reading out of the father's extensive library. This Day Vy had already planned that to leave her home for good. All of the years of her reading books to pass the time she had developed a desire to see the whimsical world illustrated in her books. However her father told her a different story, one about endless trades, war and death, this however failed to curb her desires and still willed to see the world magic mirrors and insect sized people she read about.
Vy's father who had gone out on his own endeavors had just returned and the two had began talking about the topic of the book she was reading with the topic soon changing to dark magic with Vy inquiring,"Is dark magic truly that bad?" her father, who made certain that Vy's books excluded any talk on the topic was surprised and answered "Dealing in dark magic is an act with world ending effects and one punishable by death". "You and all your allies banished all of dark magic from this world correct"? "Yes but not in its entirety" he answered. In a darker tone she asked "then why us it that your the only one who received the credit, is it because the rest of them died"? Vy's father who had hid all of this from her was stunned to hear this. Over a hundred years ago Vy's father Atlas and his allies had protected the world from the threat of dark magic. His allies all lost their lives in this triumph and being the only one to return he was hailed as the hero of the land or more accurately a god. Altas, who had a stern look on his face, was at a loss for words Vy however began exclaiming,"why have you been lying to me about you saving the world yourself, why did you Imprison me here for so long, why won't you let me see the world"! Altas fiercely answered "you were never meant to know those things and you will not be leaving this place anytime soon." He then stormed out the room. However Vy had no intention of letting the dispute end there not this time. She rushed to her bed and retrieved a menacing looking book, opened it to a folded page and began chanting a spell and soon a light began surrounding her. This light began causing an audible disturbance in her room knocking over her desk and chairs. The light soon became blinding causing her Atlas to return her the room swiftly. He was met with the sight of his daughter ascending through her now broken roof and Vy stared back at him and in a serious tone she said, "Father I am going to see the world, the one that you've kept me from all these years and for whatever hardships I may face out there I am prepared" Atlas was yelling for Vy to reverse the spell however after she finished speaking she vanished.
