Chereads / Friendship Goes A Long Way / Chapter 2 - Great Turn

Chapter 2 - Great Turn

Bella started skipping school days. She got into a huge argument with Ricky and they both went their separate ways. Bella only managed to survive through a cleaning job she obtained. She ended up dropping out of school because she barely had enough money to feed herself talk more of school tuition fees.

Ricky couldn't help but bother about Bella's new lifestyle and so he visited her at her place of work, 'Starlight Hotel'. Ricky was the only child to Mr and Mrs. Hart and he was born with a golden spoon.

After a conversation between him and Bella during her break, she decided to forgive him and they got back into their friendship. Ricky was able to convince his parents into letting Bella stay at their place and they were also sponsoring her education.

Bella started living a happy life once again and Ricky was happier than ever. The years went by quickly and it was finally Bella's and Ricky's graduation day out of College. The event was successful and glorious and they both had a nice time.

Mr and Mrs Hart decided to send Ricky to go finish his education in the United Kingdom (U.K). Ricky didn't want to go because he wanted to stay in Nigeria with Bella but his parents stood their ground. This was how Bella and Ricky got separated "again".

For a long while, Bella and Ricky were busy with school and unable to get in touch with each other. One particular weekend, Bella went home to the Hart's house and decided to sit in front of the house to receive fresh air.

She was outside reading a book when unexpectedly, one of Bella's former classmates walked by. They both recognised each other and exchanged pleasantries. And then, Ricky's parents were just returning from an outing and saw Bella's former classmate; Jeremiah, hug Bella.

They took it for something else and accused Bella of taking money from them to give to him and using her studies as an excuse.

Bella was sent packing out of the house by Ricky's parents so she went back to the streets and started hustling again. Due to the grace of God in her life, she was able to finish her university education and she got gainfully employed.

Bella later got her own pharmaceutical company and her own house and she lived a comfortable and happy life.
