"D-damn it, it's too fast!" Cried an Adventurer, narrowly evading a fatal blow and desperately scrambling away to safety.
"Argghhhhhhh, m-my...my arm...!" Another Adventurer yelled out in pain, as the Monster sliced off his right arm with a rapid swipe of its claws, blood gushing out and splattering the ground as he stumbled back with a look of terror and agony.
As the Monster then began to charge up flames, I took aim as I got within range and fired a lightning projectile with my Mana Armament Soul Weapon, hitting the side of its mouth and piercing through, dissipating the flames.
A Chimera, huh...a few years ago, I'd have been convinced that this is a creature that I absolutely cannot win against. But that's changed, I no longer see it as an unbeatable beast that's out of my league...now, it's just an opponent that I can kill.
