It was the afternoon of the fourth day here...
This dungeon is gigantic, and unfortunately, the wild orc was just one more of its monsters. The boss was still unknown.
When Emma woke up, the family had already almost reached level 27, so after that, they made it easily.
Then, they explored the surroundings, encountering several different monsters.
In particular, beast-like monsters abounded in the area of the dungeon where they were. The golden ass chimpanzees gave them copious amounts of experience as they came in packs, and managed to get Viktor up to level 28, with the rest of the family having 80% experience towards this level.
Emma's powers had a big change, and at times, she would suggest things, which were always right...
Follow a certain path, rest, etc. Also, she gave the family that title:
[The unconditional love of a prophet:
Description: You have the protection of destiny, as a shield of love from a prophet, who reads destiny, and protects you.
Effect: Luck +50%.]
The luck feature was a rather confusing thing, but from what they understood, this one was very useful.
It affected everything that could happen, and its probabilities. No normal person would know the limits of it.
With everything they gained, everyone became stronger, achieving that same day that the family reached level 28 and the C. S. reached level 5.
The soldiers who were already level 10 reached level 12.
The goal when entering here was to get the C.S. Alpha to level 8 within weeks, but in a matter of days they reached level 5, and at this rate they would reach the expected level in less than a week...
After hunting and exploring, Viktor invoked his stats tab:
[ Characteristics:
Name: Viktor.
Level:28.
Class: Berserk.
Race: Human.
Gender: Male.
HP:6800
MP:8500
-Stats:
Strength:140.
Speed:60.
Stamina:108.
Senses:90.
Health:68.
Intelligence:60.
Mana:85.
*Points to distribute:0 ]
The [Eye of the Great Lord] had given him approximately 150 extra points in total from level 7 to 28. This was quite incredible... It gave him points in different stats, even though at first it only gave him mana, now it gave him more points in other stats.
Especially to his senses, although it was also due to the development of the ability gained by the eye, it was still a product of the eye itself.
The large amount of points this eye gave him meant that he was well above his level in terms of stats.
Because of this, the family could hunt whole packs of low-level monsters and even groups of monsters of similar levels to them.
It became more necessary to increase other stats in addition to focusing on strength, as the variety of monsters increased.
Generally, no one hunted monsters of their own level, as they chose lower levels to be safe. The variety and power needed to hunt monsters of a similar level to one's own made it unproductive for most.
Luckily for the family, even if his arm was damaged, Viktor was still extremely capable.
Emma was also shining brighter than ever. Her shields were now more powerful and she could heal major wounds.
Because of them, the family was safe even when they encountered monsters of similar levels, which in this dungeon was not that uncommon...
Viktor checked his Scoins and characteristics while thinking about what he should do with his Scoins.
And soon, the answer to that came...
[System(Private):
The Heavenly Gods' Alliance have decided to reward you for your bravery and bet on your future, by giving you the possibility to access a special system offer.]
[System(Private):
You have to choose 2 options...
1) Upgrade the system to level 9, and unlock the technology branch in the smithy system(must be paid by the host).
*The smithy tech branch is special, and can only be unlocked in quests given by the system or in rewards earned.
2) +10 personal levels]
Viktor got really excited...
It seemed like an obvious choice...
Leveling up, while somewhat difficult, could still be done normally.
According to what the system cleared in his brain, unlocking the technology branch could allow him to get a robotic arm. And also the control of permanent nanobots (Although these would have to be upgraded and spend more Scoins on their functions.)
This would be incredibly useful!
However, 2 levels of the system were very expensive, especially at the higher levels.
But also more importantly... With the 10 levels, he could get out of this place much easier. Perhaps, they could die if he didn't choose correctly. Inside him, there was a lot of doubt.
His mother, as if she could see the very future, or maybe, she really could, snapped him out of it:
"We will be able to get out of here all alive, whatever you decide."
With this clarified, trusting his mother he decided to get a high-level system and the tantalizing robotic arm along with the nanobots.
Using 75,000 Scoins they collected, he was able to buy the supply and a pack of nanobots, which were attached to his arm.
Also, he bought different devices to reinforce both the inside and outside of his right arm, giving it, which was never cut, since it was not necessary to remove it, an android look.
Parts of his arm were now made of metal, also his nerves, some of them were replaced by nanobots, but now... He was able to move his arm again!
The whole group was surprised and congratulated him for getting his arm back.
And they began to regain their hopes... Especially, when they saw him fighting again.
Viktor decided to keep it to himself that his fingers could not move properly and his arm still felt rough and to confess it to his family, without "the soldiers" knowing.
This was normal, as the necrosis in his fingers had been there for quite some time, although finally, the nanobots helped the blood to circulate properly, his fingers had lost the naturalness they had before, and his nerves, muscles, and tendons both in different areas of the arm and hand had been severely damaged.
But all this would be of little consequence as long as enough power was achieved to recover.
It was not at all sad as there was a possibility of a full recovery in the future.
What Viktor didn't know was that in fact, quite soon he would be able to heal the consequences of the necrosis that was hampering the movement of his robotic arm...
Soon, the group reached another area of this dungeon, this time, an area that looked like a mountainous zone, with quite a lot of wild flora.
Its fauna was...quite particular.
Giant rats, with a horrible smell of rottenness, were its main animal.
Along with them coexisted the magic tree snakes, mysterious snakes, which when coiled in a spiral when they sleep, come to appear from afar the appearance of the trunk of a withered tree.
It is estimated that each one of them is 10 meters long when adult. Their width, when adult, reaches half a meter.
They could easily eat an adult human, and that would leave them unsatisfied...
The filthy rats were even more terrible, giants that measured 5 meters, and were at least 3 meters wide. Their bite was fatal, and they were so fast that if you were careless, you wouldn't be able to count them.
In comparison, the golden-assed chimpanzees were small.
Although they were individually weaker than the snakes, they were more dangerous.
These rats reproduced extremely fast, and could hide anywhere...Sometimes, something looked like a small mountain or rock, but it was just the hairy back of these beasts.
Their fur could alter between hard as a rock or soft as scrub grass. Their color could sometimes even change.
Arriving in this mountainous area, the group was welcomed by a sleeping giant mouse, who was interrupted from his orc hunting when the group arrived.
So without much thought it decided to hunt them down.
