If the countries had acted as the system told them only the point of the earth where the elementals were initially as they descended would have been affected, and even that would have been quite slight since they were floating in the sky.
Chaos formed in the world, with more and more people distrusting the various states.
The UK was affected by both the fire elemental and the earth elemental, so the parts closest to Africa and Asia, the borders were affected but the general population was mostly fine.
Humans had never experienced such severe earthquakes or natural disasters, so they were unprepared.
The attack was generally worldwide, focusing on those powers that dropped nuclear bombs such as Korea or the United States. Since they were far from the most attacked areas, kept a low profile, and did not send too many planes to attack, the UK did not draw the attention of these powerful monsters.

April 4, 2033.
Viktor managed to contact his family a few days after the crisis, his closest ones, his parents and his sister were alive and safe. Viktor's house and many other structures including his family's apartment were damaged, but the Earth Elemental King did not attack heavily until the other Elemental Kings began to die, so most buildings were not destroyed.
The state maintained control trying to calm the population, but even so they could not give too many orders or demand compliance with certain laws, public order was much more chaotic than before. The military power was busy with the constant and spontaneous portals, they could not control the people.
A kind of strange anarchy with a state that couldn't control anything began.
The rate of vandalism and crimes of all kinds increased. The monsters sometimes went days without being killed and there were already lands that had been taken by them.
The army initially decided to deliver food to survivors' homes as they went out to hunt monsters and maintain security, but after a while, many corrupt soldiers did not deliver these foods.
After all, it was simple for them to make excuses as to why they didn't distribute the food correctly. They could simply say that the civilians were lying or that perhaps other neighbors stole the box they left on their doorstep from those civilians.
Viktor hadn't even begun to prepare to be a hunter, nor had he been accepted for training, but he decided to go hunting despite this.
He prepared a two-handed ax to cut firewood that he bought just out of curiosity which was hardly used and 1 knife, which he placed with a homemade sheath that he had learned to make from "useless" YTube tutorials.
It was on his waist, poorly tied to his belt. He also carries a penknife on his keychain.
He decided not to tell his family about his decision, if he died, he preferred that his family believe it was an accident rather than think that he went hunting and failed.
Besides, he knew that they would be against his decision, but he had already decided that he wanted to get better or die. Anyway, if he wasn't stronger, he thought that was going to live a miserable life.
Viktor had already found information on the most common monsters, as well as basic things about the system. He decided to hunt zombies, although he was aware that they were dangerous, he could hunt one at a time and they were not intelligent.
The main problem with these was that he could quickly become contaminated, and the cure could only be bought through the system.
The antidote could only be bought with the system's own coins, called SCoins, which were only obtained by hunting. And an antidote wasn't exactly cheap for a new user.
Even so, he preferred this monster, since although others such as goblins were raised, many of these lived in specific places and were large groups.
Of course, if he found low-difficulty monsters alone he would try to kill them, but searching for them didn't seem that simple. Zombies were very prevalent, they could be easily found in the city. These monsters were clumsy and frequently got separated.
He decided on a long wood ax as his weapon just to easily kill zombies that are separated from other groups of monsters, without risking his life.
He lived in the city of Churlak on the outskirts of London in a small house, and although his neighborhood was quite populated, it was not a place full of large buildings, where most lived in apartments with more than 3 floors.
Even if the city didn't have giant buildings, its neighborhood had small supermarkets nearby, so when Viktor went hunting he also decided to check the situation in these.
If they didn't have people guarding the food, he thought about taking it. After all, even though he had small reservations, he didn't think the food would last long in this situation.
He knew that taking things without paying was certainly wrong but he was a selfish person, without close people in the neighborhood and he was not going to choose the safety of others over his own. Still, he had his doubts about doing this.
For now, the most important thing was to get to know the situation around him better if he wanted to leave his house frequently. Then he would think about what to do about his food…
Most likely, he would decide on the spot whether it was worth taking food from a place or not, after knowing the situation of said place.
Viktor first went up to his terrace, where he saw the general situation of his neighborhood, thus verifying that it was safe to go out.
He had already gone out on the terrace to check on the monsters in his neighborhood, and since the army was clearing this area, he didn't see too much chaos. However, he did see a few times, zombies fighting with humans and even some humans being eaten.
He just watched trying to stay calm, he also tried to report this to the police and the army but while it was happening he already knew that those unfortunate people were not going to be saved.
However, this day the situation was calm, the army had supervised the area 2 days ago, but even so, it was known that there could be weak monsters in the area, so the survivors did not go out.
Also, it was illegal to go out hunting without permission, it was said that it was so that civilians do not risk and die or become infected.
Viktor was afraid that some neighbor would report him, but he still decided to risk going out. Being aware of what he was doing, he covered his face with a neck cover and a hat, causing less chance of being recorded, only exposing his eyes.
He knew that if the neighbors saw the door of his house opening they would know that he was out, so he decided to leave at night since the light poles were broken.
Although there were quite a few people who went out, very few did so at night because this was riskier.
He decided to take a risk because the place, although it had little light, was not completely dark and he could see quite well. But it was dark enough to not see the movements of the neighbors.
'At least so they can't film me leaving should be enough.'
'In case something goes wrong I can make the excuse that I went out to drop off rubbish or something.' Viktor thought.
Viktor decided to go out at about 7:00 p.m., and he planned to go out for only an hour. Although many power poles were broken, some still worked, and he left a light on in his house. Many neighbors also had lights on.
Also, currently in the UK, they had put in a rule to take out rubbish at a certain time and it coincided with his planned time, that gave him one more excuse to leave.
He was careful with his preparations, carrying a backpack, a flashlight, and other useful things.
Viktor went exploring in dark places but not dark enough that he couldn't see well, making sure to avoid cameras, luckily there weren't many in this neighborhood.
